2nd Year Training

The cadets after a few months of break, are seen running the field. However, with more vigor than the first time they ran around this field, but one thing never changed which was that everyone chased after Eren with only Mikasa being able to follow close.

After another half an hour, the cadets finished their run and were given a 10-minute break before heading into more physical exercises.

After a few hours of training the cadets were sent to have lunch and the cadets dragged their tired bodies into the cafeteria. 

As the cadets started eating they talked about their holidays and wondered about what this year held for them. 

What was in store for the cadets was hand-to-hand combat, so when the cadets arrived at the field and in formation. Keith stood tall and yelled.

"CADETS! Today, you will begin your hand-to-hand combat to learn about how to fight another human when needed, like if you were to join the military police."

Saying this the cadets understood but growled in annoyance.

"Alright, everyone I'll give you your training partner."

<Eren pov>

Reiner, someone slightly taller than me and less powerful in both strength and skill.

"Alright, you better try your hardest Eren. Because I'm quite stro-." I interrupted Reiner, by effectively punching his throat.

Reiner leaned over couching, so I kneed his face raising his head and then I grabbed his knife arm by the wrist and twisted it behind his back. He dropped his knife right into my other hand and with his knife in hand I slit his throat.

After 'killing' Reiner I threw him forward, he continued coughing and rubbed his wrist.

"Damn, I thought you'd give me a chance but it looks like you know how to fight. But now it's your turn with the knife-"

I threw the knife at his head which he leaned away and I took the opportunity to kick the side of his head that he leaned toward. This knocked his head to the side and shook his balance, I grabbed his hair and leaned my body back while also pulling his head under my armpit effectively slamming his skull into the ground.

After throwing him off me I stood up and walked away, I don't know why but I don't like Reiner.

I walked towards the east side of the training ground, this is where you could see Mikasa holding another cadet in an arm hold staring at Eren forgetting about the cadet she was about to cripple.

So I held the hand she was using to hold the cadet making her release them.

"Can I spar with you, Eren?" Mikasa asked shyly, I just nodded. Seeing this Mikasa walked away slightly while I looked at the cadet on the floor.

"Move."

The cadet ran off.

<3rd Person pov>

People saw this, and off toward where Eren originally was Armin could be seen with Reiner and Berthold after they both helped Reiner from his unconscious state.

"Sorry about Eren. He normally goes easy on people." Armin spoke while mumbling the last part, but the two heard what he said. Reiner could only think of how strong Eren was while he was only human, but seeing how he was about to fight Mikasa believed that he wouldn't win. As Mikasa is an Akerman.

Every cadet stopped to look at this scene, even Keith and some instructors stopped to look. They saw how Mikasa went into a boxer's stance while Eren just hunched slightly to the point only Annie and Armin noticed the difference.

A moment of silence swept by before Mikasa charged right in, she traded the lead punch she was going to do into a sweep with her front leg. Only to find no resistance when she looked up she saw a boot about to hit her but she skillfully spun her way out of the attack.

The stomp made little amounts of dust fly up, Eren then struck with his other leg going for a side kick Mikasa went to block but Eren manipulated the attack to kick her downwards on top of her head.

She caught on too late so all she could do was lean her head enough for the attack to hit her shoulder, almost bringing her to her knees due to the force. But Mikasa knew Eren, and she knew he was still holding back.

She grabbed his leg only to then find herself in an arm hold with both of Eren's legs around her right arm. The sudden shift in weight makes her fall towards Eren he promptly uses the opportunity to throw her off to the side.

Mikasa rolls to a stop and runs back in, she dishes out a lead punch, lead hook, a stomp to Eren's left knee, and then a spin fist attack. Eren in turn blocked the punches and leaned his knee in a way that would make her slip off it and not stay on it and then ducked under the last attack.

He would then dish out the same combo faster, stronger, and sharper almost cutting her skin. Mikasa mostly dodged the attacks but the spin fist attack hit the side of her arm due to her blocking the attack causing her to almost slip and fall.

However, Mikasa was able to catch herself and stand up straight. But instead of continuing the fight, she stood there and huffed.

"This is unfair." Eren just smiled slightly and walked up to her. Mikasa raised her fists again, ready to tussle again.
