Looking at his horrible body status, Adam pondered, 'Ah, so my attributes go down, the more I become weak'
'Well, it was good to fantasize about Rpg. Not gonna lie, I was excited to experience the so-called Medieval fantasy that I used to see in movies of 2022.'
'But, alas. Maybe I'm cursed ', he thought.
Closing his droopy eyes, he finally muttered, "Sorry, dad" before his consciousness drifted off, never to wake up as snow kept on accumulating over his body along with the howling winds.
However, just as his body was slowly going on the path of becoming a corpse, a lone silhouette came out of the right side of Adam's unconscious body.
The night was dark as all that could be seen of that silhouette was that it was humanoid and it was tall; covered by a cloak. However, all it did was notice the head of the already snow-covered hump of Adam and mutter,
"Poor child.", before removing his eyes from him and moving forward.
But, just as he was about to move, Adam's right hand flickered with a bluish light as it suddenly jerked upwards, all by itself.
The humanoid creature noticed the light from the corner of his eyes but just as it squinted its eyes, they widened and all that came out of its mouth was...
" Impossible..."

Inside a large laboratory.
A little boy wearing a little hospital gown was being thoroughly diagnosed by a group of doctors.
Syringes of various sizes were plunged inside the little boy's body, from his neck, all the way up to his crooked limbs.
And after what felt like an eternity, the doctors removed their gloves along with their equipment from the little youth's body, breathing a sigh of relief. However, the little boy continued laying on the surgical table, completely unconscious and naked, as if he were a fine specimen, ready to be dissected and experimented upon.No adult inside the room even spared a glance at his poor condition and just moved on with their chores.
However, two doctors stayed inside the room and waited until all of the other doctors and nurses left the laboratory.
One of the two picked up a coffee mug a nurse had brought, before sipping on it. Stretching his hand, he handed over another one of the mugs to the other doctor, sitting beside him. Glancing at the boy laying motionless, he whispered, "Fine specimen, ain't he?"
To which the other- coincidentally named Dr Issac- reprimanded him," Dr Ethan, you shouldn't be talking like that. He has a name, you know."
"Tch.."Ethan clicked his tongue." So, what? He is going to die anyway."
"But you can't refute the fact that he has a higher IQ than most subjects, disregarding the fact that he is a very hard-working child. And If we can groom him properly, we can advance the development of AIs by leaps and bounds, don't you think? "
"Hah..."The man named Ethan kept his coffee mug on the tray beside him and said in annoyance, "You can't fool me, Issac. We have seen each other's little mushrooms, ever since we were a bunch of snot-nosed brats. I know exactly when the mushroom goes on a rampage. I have seen how you look at this boy's mother and how you try to impress her. So stop with your explanations, and say the truth that you like the boy's mom and want to start a family with the two of them."
"Tch..."Issac clicked his tongue," You got me there dude, but stop using words like that. It makes us seem like we are a gay couple or something "
To which, Ethan grinned saying, "I don't know about you Bro, but I know that I am as straight as the receptionist's fine coochie slit, hehe"
"Hey! I told you don't pursue her. She is a hoe, you know? Even the sweeper boy has clapped at her"
"Yeah, yeah. I know that. Just saying", Ethan waved his hand, dismissing the entire issue as he looked out of the window beside them, enjoying the scenery. Issac was at a loss with his friend's nonchalant attitude but he didn't interfere in his personal life.
Silence prevailed in the entire room and only the sounds of sipping echoed inside it as Ethan continued drinking his coffee. Isaac's eyes then spanned across the room, stopping at the young boy laying on the surgical table, occasionally twitching. Seeing that he was slightly trembling, Issac kept his coffee mug and removed his lab coat. Standing up from his seat, he strode towards him, covering his entire body.
Looking at the little boy's pained face, Issac subconsciously rubbed his hands over the little boy's tiny forehead, contemplating his friend's diagnosis of his intention of starting a family with this boy's mother.
Smiling at being found out, he muttered, under his breath,l
" I hope I would get to start one, only if you allow me to, child"

Inside a lonesome hut.
Adam's eyes twitched, slowly gaining consciousness of his surroundings. His body lay on a makeshift bed, covered by thick layers of blankets, seemingly made out of the furry hides of beasts.
Drip.....Drip.....Drip...
Sounds of dripping entered his ears as he slowly opened his eyes, his eyebrows frowning; bothered at the precarious sounds of falling water droplets. Coupled with the ferocious howls of the snowstorm outside assaulting his resting place; he was annoyed. But just as he tried opening his eyes, drowsiness assaulted his entire countenance, yet again. Nonetheless, he opened them.
A yellowish-orange light from the lamp laying idly beside him entered his hazy- eyes, illuminating the dark room.
Adam blinked promptly as he slowly sat up from the bed, but he couldn't keep up with the assault of the brightness entering his eyes; they were still hazy. But suddenly, warm drops dripped down his nostrils, falling down his hands.
However, before he could discern what it was, lethargy assaulted him, as a shiver ran down his entire body, promptly asking him to throw his body down, and cover himself with the blankets. The cold was just too much to take in for his feeble self!
But this was enough for him to understand what he was going through. He understood that he was alive, as he was able to feel the blankets around him and the fact that he was rescued. Furthermore, he was sick right now.
The warm drops that fell on his hands and his drowsiness were indicative enough for Adam, a former Scientist to discern that he was under high fever.
Huff.....Huff.....
Adam breathed heavily as he lay on the bed before muttering, "I'm alive."
But unexpectedly a grumpy voice entered his ears, "Hah! Bet You are!"
And what followed was a loud series of thumps which echoed inside the cabin he was in, stopping just before his resting place.
Adam groggily opened his worn-down eyes to comprehend the identity of the voice but all he saw was a hazy resemblance to a massive humanoid figure, covered by a massive amount of thick beard, thoroughly braided around his chin.
"Who..are you?", questioned Adam, trying his best to sit up and look at the figure. But before he could get up, the humanoid creature pressed his massive hands on his entire face.
Adam became terrified as he thought that creature was about to strangle him but before he could squirm his way out of the creature's grasp, his hand moved away.
" Hmm, ..your still weak kid. Your body is burning with a fever. So rest up for a while and don't get up", said the creature in a guff yet humble voice.
Adam, away from the grasp of the creature-which he identified as a male, squinted his eyes at him and said.
" Thank you..."
The man in question smiled and said, "No need to mention it, kid. If not for the fact that you were still breathing under the snow, I would have left you there for the wolves to feed on, haha."
Adam smiled hearing the male creature's reasoning.
'Perhaps, this is a new world. People don't think twice before leaving a human to die or for wolves to feed on. But it's not that it was different; The modern civilised society was a facade anyway. Maybe this is the real truth of the sentient beings,' he contemplated.
Drowsiness assaulted Adam yet again as he slowly closed his droopy eyes before drifting into slumber. Seeing that the sick man was finally asleep, the male creature stood up from the seat beside the bed, sauntering towards the only door in the room.
Opening the door, the creature glanced at Adam one last time and mumbled, "Get well soon kid. I have plans for ya.." before closing the wooden door with a thud.
