In the west eastern knook of halay'n' there stood a small village with a port. The Village was called, Berth. Berth was known as the smallest village in the Kingdom of Azereth, nobles and knights called it the reject village since it was so gloomy all the time and the poorest people lived there.
The elder of the village was named Leon. He looked after the village for many, many years, just like his father before him. Leon though had no children or a wife, so he was to seek out the next overseer of the village.
"ah, what a marvellous day it is to find someone to be the overseer of the village." Leon said enthusiastically.
Leon was walking along the village looking at all the children playing and rough housing. One child though caught his eye. The child was not playing or talking to any of the children but sitting silently watching with a grim face.
'my, my, I have not seen that child around here and it looks like none of the other children care to make friends with him'
Leon thought how he was going to approach the kid. Should he approach the kid with a smile? Should he approach the kid with a neautral face? Should he-- Leon noticed the kid staring at him.
'I see..the kid has noticed me staring..'
Leon walked over to the child and sat down beside him. The child did not budge and looked down at the dusty ground beneath him.
"what's your name child?" Leon asked looking at the boy with curiosity.
The boy looked up at him with a slight guard up and curiosity as well. Leon thought the boy wouldn't answer but he waited patently.
The boy said meekly, "My name is Aaron...sir.."
