Are you gay?

The unknown man continued following their car. Completely unaware, Adam drove the car towards the direction of the city center.

"Drop me near a bus stand. I can take the bus home." Azalea suggested, seeing him drive towards the direction of his office.

"If I drop you here, who will help me shop?" Adam replied with a smile, parking the car in front of a luxurious store.

"Let's go," Adam informed, getting out of his seat and walking up to the passenger seat of the door for her.

"Why?" Azalea was a bit puzzled, by what he wanted, still indecisive on what to do, biting her lower lips.

Seeing her confused and just biting her lips, Adam leaned closer, their faces just inches apart. "What are you thinking?" He asked, causing Azalea's heart to stop, as drew back, almost becoming one with her seat as the tingling feeling in her stomach grew bigger.

Adam casually unbuckled her seat belt and withdrew his head out of the car, while Azalea felt a sudden rush of heat around her face. 'It must be the heat!' She tried to console her malfunctioning heart, getting out of the car with a straight face and a calm heart.

"Why are we here?" Azalea asked, reading the store name, 'Eternity'. One of the luxurious brands for pieces of jewelry.

"You will see." Adam shrugged, holding her hand and walking inside the store. As soon as they walked in, the salesperson made a line in front of the entrance, bowing their head to him, "Morning, Mr. Shen." In sync they greeted Adam, almost scaring Azalea.

Adam gave a nod, "My wife and I are looking for wedding bands." Adam asked one of the assistants while taking a glance at Lea. While Lea was stunned at his words. She was not denying the marriage but a wedding band? Why do they need a wedding band? Marriage is marriage, after all. Was he scared she would cheat on him after hearing all those past rumors about her?

Suddenly she felt a painful tuck in her heart. Yeah, who would trust someone like her? And worst of all Daniel works in his office. Rumors must have been circulating by now. Bitter memories flashed in her mind. She took a glance at the man in front of her and couldn't help but wonder: "Is the profit you want from me making your ex jealous?"

Adam was carefully choosing their wedding bands, completely oblivious to his newlywed wife's thoughts. What he was more interested in was giving her a perfect marriage. Adam wanted to have a grand wedding with every ritual and blessing of their family members. With a romantic proposal on today's trip but it was futile. At Least he can choose a perfect wedding ring until later …

Adam's eyes fell on one of the rings in the corner. Made of purple gemstone and diamond which was shaped like a lotus and had rose gold for the band. Knowing Lea, he knew choosing something huge would only backfire. The ring was simple yet elegant and seemed like it was made just for her.

Adam smiled, picking up the ring and putting the ring on her finger. "It even fits you perfectly." He remarked seeing the ring fitting perfectly on her finger. On the other hand, Azalea looked at the ring on her finger and then at him

She tried to take it off, annoyed at his antics, "No need to buy such expensive stuff." She retreated, trying to take off the ring.

"We are buying this." Adam declared, giving the card to the saleswoman. He himself took the other ring and put it on her hand, waiting for her to put it on his finger.

Azalea saw the stare coming from the all shop assistants and having no other option she put it on his finger. Adam's face bloomed seeing her put the ring on without any fight. When she listened without putting up any fight, Adam couldn't help but urge to pat her head.

Once the saleswoman went to process the bill leaving them all alone, Azalea took the chance, "Why waste money on such useless stuff? Let's cancel it." She urged, trying to take off the ring.

"No! It's not a waste! I want to show the world I have a goddess as my wife." Adam affirmed in pride, holding her hand to stop her from taking the ring off.

Azalea squinted her eyes at him, watching his face intently. She was suspicious now that he might be a big playboy. She might have not seen any news of him having affairs with women but the way he says those lines without batting an eye definitely raises suspicion. "Are you playboy, and you don't want the media to know so you are marrying me in such a hurry?" Azalea questioned with a serious face.

Adam raised a brow at her absurd question, before bursting into laughter. Azalea slumped her shoulder, and leaned back on her seat, realizing she guessed it wrong.

"Wait! You are gay, aren't you?" Her eyes flickered, as she questioned once again.

Thud! The noise grabbed both husband and wife's attention, and the assistant dropped the shopping bag on the floor. "I am sorry." She was quick to apologize, picking up the bag from the ground.

Azalea suddenly felt guilty for creating the awkward atmosphere, and the shop assistant quickly bolted away, leaving them all alone once again. Adam's lips bloomed into a crescent shape, glaring in her direction. "Would you mind elaborating on what you meant by that?"

Even though he was smiling, Azalea felt a shiver down her spine. She gulped, as cold beads of sweat from her forehead. "I was just kidding. Look at the time, I should get going." Azalea tried to excuse herself.

"Where are you going? We have a lot to clear out." Adam put his arm on her shoulder before she could escape and was dragged out of the shop.
