After some brief consideration, Hong finally decided to give Wang Yi the secret manual for The Basics of Spiritual Teacher Training. Perhaps he intended to win Wang Yi's favor.
This was a particularly generous move on Hong's part.
Wang Yi, now officially a member of the God of War, could study The Basics of Spiritual Teacher Training only in the virtual space. Receiving the manual for free from Hong lifted Wang Yi's spirits, and he turned to look at Thor.
Thor, who had been smiling contentedly, became startled when he noticed Wang Yi's gaze. "What are you looking at me for? I'm not your master, and I have nothing for you."
Wang Yi chuckled. "Well, Master Thor, I've been curious about the Seven-Star Building at the Thunderbolt Martial Arts Academy since I was a child. Is there a chance I could visit?"
Thor eyed Wang Yi suspiciously. "You can visit, but don't get any ideas. If you do, don't expect me to go easy on you, even for Hong's sake."
"Hahaha… of course not, I'm not that kind of person," Wang Yi replied, feeling a little awkward. He had only wanted to visit the Seven-Star Building to fulfill a personal goal, yet Thor had become suspicious.
"By the way, Wang Yi," Thor said, curious now, "what level are you at? You don't seem like an ordinary newcomer to the planetary star rank."
"Master Thor, you must be joking. I'm still young, and it hasn't been long since I broke through. I'm nowhere near the level of you two seniors," Wang Yi responded humbly.
Thor snorted, suddenly launching a punch at Wang Yi.
Remaining calm, Wang Yi dodged effortlessly, his figure blurring into a flame before reappearing in another corner of the hall.
"Master Thor, were you testing me?" Wang Yi asked, feigning displeasure.
Thor paused, astonished. "It's impressive you managed to dodge my punch. Even a third-tier planetary star shouldn't be able to avoid my attack so easily, but you..."
As a seventh-tier planetary star, Thor was the strongest physical being on Earth, capable of killing a fifth-tier planetary star with a single punch. For Wang Yi, an 18-year-old who had only recently broken through to the planetary star rank, to evade him was astonishing.
Thor looked at Wang Yi with growing curiosity. At this point, Hong, who had been observing, finally spoke. "Enough, Thor. Everyone has their own secrets. If Wang Yi doesn't wish to reveal his, don't press him."
"Thank you for your understanding," Wang Yi said, bowing slightly to Hong.
"However," Hong continued, his expression serious, "Wang Yi, now that you're a member of the Extreme Martial Arts Academy, you must follow our rules. I have no tolerance for rule-breakers or those who act recklessly. Understood?"
Wang Yi nodded. "Understood, Master. I'll abide by the rules of the Extreme Martial Arts Academy."
Hong nodded, seemingly satisfied. "When will you leave the training camp? I'll make the necessary arrangements."
"I'm ready now," Wang Yi replied. He had no attachment to the elite training camp.
"Very well. Once you leave the camp, your position will be removed. Are you returning to Jiangnan Base City or staying here at Hongning Base City?" Hong asked.
"I'll return to Jiangnan Base City, but I won't hold any official position there," Wang Yi said. His family and his lover were in Jiangnan, which was the main reason for his return. But in truth, as long as he was on Earth, it made little difference where he resided.
"Very well. Thor," Wang Yi added with a grin, "I'll be visiting your Seven-Star Building tomorrow. Don't shut me out!"
Hong and Thor watched Wang Yi leave in silence.
"Brother Hong, what do you make of that kid?" Thor asked.
"He's still human," Hong replied, his gaze distant.
"He has exceptional talent, and it seems he's had other fortunate opportunities. Otherwise, it's impossible for him to have reached the planetary realm rank in such a short time. It's almost unheard of. Situations like his are more common in the vast universe. We must keep an eye on him and guide him so he doesn't go down the wrong path…"
Hong's thoughts turned to the information they had just collected about Wang Yi. It seemed time to send someone to investigate the quiet activity in Australia as well.
Wang Yi finally exited the headquarters of the Extreme Martial Arts Academy and let out a sigh of relief. He had kept his composure in front of Hong and Thor, but inwardly, his nerves had been taut the entire time.
When Thor had unexpectedly tested him, Wang Yi had nearly revealed his domain. But now, it was over.
"Mr. Wang Yi," a man in red who had followed Wang Yi out pointed toward a triangular spacecraft on the nearby lawn. "The master has ordered this smart fighter to be given to you."
Wang Yi's eyes locked onto the sleek, black triangle-shaped craft, roughly 20 meters long and 10 meters wide. It looked sturdy and powerful.
"I have my own smart fighter now," Wang Yi thought, excitement building within him. Owning his own fighter had always been a dream of his, even more thrilling than the idea of owning a spaceship.
With the help of the intelligent system, Wang Yi quickly set up the smart fighter to recognize his identity. He was aware that all smart fighters came with backdoors left by Hong, but there was little he could do about that. He just had to be cautious not to let Hong uncover his secrets.
Wang Yi planned to improve his strength rapidly. Once he became powerful enough, even if Hong discovered anything suspicious, there would be little he could do.
"And… the Black God suit," Wang Yi thought.
A jet-black, film-like substance covered his face, leaving only his eyes and mouth exposed. It looked quite eerie, but as a planetary star, Wang Yi no longer needed to eat, drink, or even breathe.
"With the Black God suit and my Mo yunteng, my defense has significantly improved," Wang Yi mused, watching as the black material flowed over his body like liquid before forming into a sleek, black trench coat.
An odd thought crossed Wang Yi's mind, and the Black God suit shifted to take on the appearance of Gao Yurong—reduced in scale, but still vividly rendered, though entirely black.
"Ahem," Wang Yi coughed, feeling guilty, and quickly reverted the suit back into a trench coat. He realized the Black God suit had plenty of potential uses, some quite unexpected.
"No more distractions," he told himself. "It's time to hunt some high-lord-level monsters, get my God of War evaluation, and join the God of War Palace."
Without returning to the training camp, Wang Yi boarded his smart fighter—now named Black Dragon—and gave the order to take off. The triangular fighter swiftly rose into the air, transforming into a black streak of light as it disappeared over the horizon.
