Vengeance in Progress...

Hayashi had gone to his dorm while the others talked about the sparring session even hyping it up to a fight Nishiwaka was talking with Dan. In the main hall, Akari was directing most of the adults and teens as they would be following her command, most of the male workers would be fine with this, but the female workers were thinking of overthrowing the Student Council President as a company owner walks up to Akari.

"Hey! You! Red-haired girl!"

"Yes?" Akari said glaring at the woman showing instant hostility

"Hi...yes I'm sorry but do you think I could take charge of this operation"

"No can do, get back to work" Akari coldly tells the woman off.

"Do you know who I am?" The woman seemed offended

"No, and nor do I care, if you don't want to work or wish to switch positions you could simply ask and I'll see what I can do. {Jeez I'm beginning to sound like the rogue...}"

"No. We know you've been leading the people of this place. Don't you believe you should step down and let an adult handle this?" The woman tried to persuasion

"Question" Akari seemed agitated.

"What is it?" The businesswoman and her followers looked confused

"Where were all the adults when we were stuck in this school?" Akari questioned the woman. "assuming from your clothes you are a businesswoman, where were you during the apocalypse before the combat team that's under me and led by a grey-haired boy using a slingshot?"

"I- uh- well.." The woman stuttered before grinding her teeth. "you were in a ruined building, in the middle of the apocalypse, too scared to even fight the undead back!" Akari smirked as she tried her best to imitate Hayashi. "I don't give a damn if you're an adult if you're too scared to fight back! Don't feel entitled to lead something someone else built up only to run it into the mud! Now get back to work or get out!" as she ranted most of the other workers nearby heard her, and a few people in the combat team started to break the silence with laughter.

"Ha ha ha ha! Damn you got chewed out! And by someone young enough to be your daughter!" one distinct voice said making the other workers start laughing including the members of the combat team nearby as the person revealed himself to be Hayashi, along with Dan.

"Hayashi-san! {Thank you, I owe you big time}"

"Alright, now that we settled this, care to state your name, or don't it's not like I care."

She growled at Hayashi for a bit before she regained her composure "I am Harumi Sora" she smiled as many in the room recognized her name.

"I know your name, didn't know your appearance but that name's been thrown around everywhere, even knowing that." Hayashi and Dan started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" Akari looked at Dan

"Just watch" he was still laughing.

"Get out of our school and survive for a week, I'll even give you a baseball bat, If you can do that alone, then I'll give you that, I say this as the leader of the Combat team...who-"

At that moment a gunshot is heard scaring away many birds in the area as Hayashi looked through a window.

"It's them!"

"Really!? Now of all times..."

"[Create Munitions]!" Hayashi took out 3 [Zombie Fang] and opened the window as the zombie fangs became <Infectious Stinger> rounds.

"We want your building! Get out!" The small prisoner shot his gun into the air again another three shots coming from the gun.

"Do I have to start shooting at the people to get you out!?" He yelled aiming the gun at Hayashi who hides a bit before loading his [Hornet Emperor] with the round.

"Fat chance! [Strong Shot]!" The round from Hayashi's slingshot began to glow as he released it, scratching the armed prisoner's hand and making him drop his gun.

"Agh! He shot me!"

"Your lucky it was only your hand! {A scratch isn't enough to end this...} Surrender now and go back from where you came!" Hayashi yelled giving them a chance to retreat.

"Boys! Light 'em up!" the smaller prisoner ordered his companions as they each fired on the school.

"Pres! Lead them all to the second level and hide!"

"What about you!?"

"I'll be alright!" Hayashi reassured her and made another shot this time aiming at one of the prisoners that had an assault rifle while the President made a run for it and tried her best to escort everyone to the second level of the school.

"Alright...this is for my team...and for shooting me.." Hayashi put a hand on where he was shot before making a dash towards another window and sniping a prisoner from there with one of the <infectious stinger> rounds making a successful shot that hit the prisoner's arm before he sat on the floor away from the window. "He should be infected..."

"AH! I'm hit! I'm hit!" a scrawny prisoner fell and started wailing as his arm was pierced by the ground fired from a different hiding place.

"Damn...That cheeky kid made us waste our bullets! Check on him and bring him back over here! And take whatever was lodged in his arm out! Quickly!"

Hayashi was listening in on the confusion he caused and nodded. "They're treating their wounded..? Strange must be sentiment between prisoners... [Eye of the Hunter]" Hayashi called the move from his skill as he felt a wave of lethargy draining his energy but he focused long enough to see the location of each prisoner.

"Gotta shoot for the leader..." Hayashi took aim again this time from the window he ran from and released the shot at the leader's heart however it was easily stopped as he looked at the round fall from his chest and laughed as Hayashi peeked from the window noticing there was a small hole from where the round was shot from noticing it was dark black with a white line across it and came to a realization.

"They're wearing bulletproof vests...I only have one choice now.."

"Hey! We see you! Fire!" The small man instructed a crooked smile forming on his face relishing the thought of massacring everyone in the school and taking the women for himself. Hayashi looked at him in disgust and anger.

"I know those eyes...The eyes of a scum bag...you deserve a cruel death..." Hayashi chose not to aim for the head and instead shot the larger prisoner and pierced his arm.

"Lawford!" The leader was taken aback by Hayashi's shots as the sun made a light come off the round he was about to fire.

"[Create Munitions][Eye of the Hunter][Strong Shot]" Hayashi activated all three skills simultaneously feeling the strength being sucked from his body as he fired the stinger round at the leader who aimed his pistol and fired at the same time as the two forces met and deflected the <infectious stinger> round broke, however, it diverted the pistol shot and sent it towards the ceiling as it scratched Hayashi's face.

"Ugh!" Hayashi winced from the wound and fell back, going up the stairs and going to the roof where he would be met by a zombie which he quickly kills.

"Rest in peace...[Harvest]!" Hayashi harvested the zombie he killed and aimed at the gunman who was still aiming his pistol at the window he saw Hayashi in, but before Hayashi could even make another shot, four zombies came and bit the prisoner, Hayashi wasn't phased by the least as he looked down at the leader, making eye contact as he screamed for help but his screams fall on deaf ears as he is eaten alive by the zombies he once called his companions were tearing his flesh from his bones as his screams became muffled until his voice could no longer be heard.

Hayashi went down the stairs closing the door to the roof and making it to the second level. "Come out everyone! It's safe!" he yelled no one answered his call.

"HEY! I said it's safe!" he yelled out again before going to find them running up to the second level he found a room with a large glass window as it looked like it could shatter at any minute. He entered the room only to be surrounded by the members of his combat team, arrows aimed and swords drawn, he quickly put his hands up the slingshot in his left hand looking at those who surrounded him he made the slingshot disappear instantly without moving a muscle.

"It's just me. I come in peace.." Hayashi looked at them and talked sarcastically.

"It's him...He survived..." one of the members of his team said as they withdrew their blades and bows and arrows.

The entire room began to erupt in laughter and crying as each person was glad they were alive, some couldn't stomach the information and were surprised others had tears streaming down their faces while hugging each other, others were glad to be alive and laughed trying to overcome this emotional hurdle as Hayashi began to walk away he was grabbed by the Student Council President and Takao. Akari smiled slightly.

"Allow me to use you for a bit, alright?"

"Sure...but make it quick.."

she nods. "Everyone listen up! This man here is the hero that saved us all!" Akari yelled out as the grown men picked up Hayashi and threw him into the air upon hearing this, many of the students were amazed at how he won a gunfight until one person chimed out.

"Tell us how it felt! Tell the story!"

The men looked around and then laughed for a bit putting him down "Yeah tell the story kid."

"I-uh- It might take a while..."

Akari smirked a bit. "Go ahead o brave hero~" she teased him a bit.

"Ah fine, sit down the story is a long, thrilling adventure."

He went on to tell the story of how he won and revealed some of his abilities to those who doubted him which he completely understood.

"That took longer than I thought...I need some...Sleep..." Hayashi got to his door and then passed out right there a few people saw this and lifted him into his dorm and put him on his bed determining he must be tired from a combination of shock and adrenaline.

Elsewhere Takao was seen entering the student council room.

"President...Here.." Takao handed her the firearms used against them putting them on the table and unloading them.

"These are..."

"The firearms used against us during this evening's raid..."

"This is good...we can use this" Akari said, mildly panicking seeing as her other members weren't there to help her because they were either mixed in with the Manual Labor Crew or Foraging Team, and during the time which has been absolute chaos she hasn't had the time to find the other members. "Please put them over there so we can discuss this tomorrow..." She looked out the window of the student council room and realizes its noon.

"He won't be able to mobilize like this...I'll send both the foraging and combat teams out tomorrow and the others can help rebuild our defenses..." Akari formed a simple plan in her head.

"That would be a great strategy, but what about the ones who are trying to rebel against your leadership?"

"No time to worry about it, as Student Council President I already had to worry about other students taking the position from me so I never did. It's the same here, but people are counting on me more than before."

"Alright then, I'll see myself out." Takao left as Akari fell asleep in that room, it was lights out for everyone.

Hayashi woke up and looks at the system as it had been updated.

"Huh? what happened..? the last thing I remember was telling a story and walking back here..." He looked at the System and recalled a little that everything went black, concluding he passed out but the effects weren't getting worse but better, he was passing out less due to the power of the system and his body getting used to it. "Skills!"

"wow, I've got a fair share of both passive and active skills...I may as well use them now..."

Hayashi opened his inventory and took out the bag of monster cores and tapped the consume button as multiple lights surrounded his body, and his veins started to pop and become visible through his skin."Backlash! Gotta control it! [Eye of the Hunter]!" Hayashi used that to direct the excess power to his eyes but it wasn't enough as he summoned his [Ronin]and[Hornet Emperor] Slingshots. "[Dagger Rush]!" The excess energy started to spread all over his body as he began to return to normal from consuming so many cores at once.

"PING!" Through synchronizing and stabilizing your connection with every element you have learned [Elemental Resistance] and [Elemental Attunment].

"Elemental resistance..? Elemental Attunement was fairly common back then...most awakeners had it, a small portion awakened resistance to all elements instead of just one or two..."

"PING!" You have earned a skill: [7 element Channeling]

"Another new skill? I didn't expect this...but I don't even know what they do..? guess it'll wait till morning" He shrugs as he goes to sleep.
