Hayashi quickly put on a pair of sweatpants, a white shirt, and red sweatshirt before jumping out a nearby window and running towards the gates and jumped over them running into the closest shopping district, he found many stores and malls, but they were guarded by groups of zombies, the sun was shining, but it was close to noon. He took out his [Hornet Emporer] and charged a group of zombies, with his hybrid weapon in hand, and took them all down.

"My speed is already enough to take down a small group too easily.[Harvest]!" Hayashi put his hand up as yellow, green, and pink orbs flew to his hand and he clasped it shut going into the mall and finding an assortment of clothes., Hayashi chuckled before an arrow whizzed passed his face.

"Shit! Who's there!" Hayashi brandished his hybrid weapon before a figure with a crossbow stepped out of the shadows.

"How'd you get in here boy?" an older male looked at him, pointing the loaded crossbow at Hayashi.

"Through the front door, old man." Hayashi loaded a non-lethal round and aimed his slingshot at the older male. "Looks like it's me or you, old man. Your choice."

"Youngins like you have no respect for old men huh..." The older male put down his weapon, and Hayashi did the same, going back and looting any clothes that could fit him and putting them into his subspace.

"Respect equals respect, you nearly killed me on the first interaction, you get no respect from me," Hayashi said picking up more clothing until one side of the store was completely empty.

"Alright, fair" The figure went out but before he did he turned around. "Any food on you?"

"Yeah, here." Hayashi threw some canned food at him and went to the other side of the store, encountering a high-level mutant, with a giant scythe blade that replaced the arm, it seemed to be guarding. "Hm...More materials for me..." Hayashi smiled and rushed at the mutant as he summoned his [Ronin]. "[7 Element Channeling],[Elemental Attunment],[Blade Aura]!" a thin layer of energy covered his daggers and a green aura surrounded his body. "[Chain Rush]!" Hayashi speeds at the mutant and cuts it multiple times, but they are only skin deep as the mutant attacks with its arms trying to cut Hayashi's head as he barely dodges it.

"Hold on Kid!" The old man shot at the mutant with his crossbow but the arrow broke as soon as it hit the monster.

"Don't! I've got it!" Hayashi backed away from the mutant and breathed in and flipped to the slingshot side as his element changed to earth. "[Eye of the Hunter][Strong Shot][Arcane: Snipe]

[Spearhead Falconet]!" Hayashi activated multiple skills at once as a feeling of Lethargy washed over him. "Crap...this feeling again..." Hayashi continued to use more skills and charge up a strong attack "[Create Munitions][Create Arms][Area: Moral][Area: Enhance Arms][Area: Enhance Munitons]!" The lethargic feeling became overwhelming as Hayashi released all the skills in one shot.

"PING!" Critical Damage! 1054 XP Your combat power exceeds your weapon's durability!

"Huh?" Hayashi noticed the last message as he struggled to stand, his weapon shattered into pieces. Hayashi looked dumbfounded and so did the older male after seeing the destruction the younger male did, with just a slingshot. "[Harvest]!" Hayashi harvests the mutant, taking its core, materials, and even energy, absorbing it into his body before going into his subspace before seeing as he gained a few new items: [Reaper's blade shard], [Liquified healing energy], and

[Dragon-Scale Handguards]. Hayashi nods to himself smiling before jumping out the window and retreating to a safe zone to catch a break and recuperate his strength.

Meanwhile, Fueki was slashing a dummy with a bokken sword and closed one of her eyes to call out the skill "[Area: Morale]" A zone formed around her as white mist-like energy from the ground, and a white murky aura surrounded her body before unleashing a second skill. "[Dancing Blade]!". Her pupil began to glow as she slashed upwards, slashing the dummy into the air and combining her Kenjutsu and Kendo skills. "First River! River of Pain!" She slashed again before running at the dummy again before it landed. "Twelfth River! Rebellion River: Inverse Flow! Thirteenth River! Riptide Path!" She lifted her arm that the sword was in and jabbed the blade into the chest of the dummy.

"BLAM!" The Dummy hits the wall and lands on the floor again as Fueki breathes in and opens her eye again sitting down as Hayashi now climbs into the kendo dojo window.

Hayashi whistles. "Well, you look like you're adapting to your new skills rather quickly," Hayashi said smiling

"Yes, But it becomes extremely tiring...It feels like there's a dampener on my movement after using the [Dancing Blade] skill. My [Area: Morale] skill only counters that a little."

"That's natural when you use awakened skills for the first few times, but you can get used to it," Hayashi said nodding. "I have a question, however."

"Shoot," Fueki said pushing her sword into the ground.

"How do you see your skills or Stats?" He said holding up two books

"Close one eye, it gives me a white space with my skills listed. I also seem to be a level one [Blade Dancer]"

"Well, figures. Learn these, think of this as your starter pack. Increase your INT stat along with your AGI and STR. Those are the best stats known for the [Blade Dancer] class" Hayashi said as he handed her two skill books which she opened and learned the skills inside them.

"[Blade Aura] and [Fighting Spirit]?" She questioned Hayashi before picking up her sword.

"That's not all. Take this too" Hayashi threw a sheathed Katana to her which she put on her back.

"Thank you...I'll be sure to hone these skills." She tells him, instead of bowing, her hair turned black with green tips, seemingly in a transformative state "To improve myself, I ask that you spar with me!" She pointed her blade at him

"Fine, I accept. I'll keep my power level the same as yours." Hayashi said now taking out his [Ronin] hybrid weapon. "Have at thee."

"KI!" Fueki brandished her sword and started to blitz Hayashi who keeps his guard up. "KEN!" Fueki brings her sword down to hit Hayashi but is blocked by his dagger. "KAI!" Her sword aimed for his chest but was unsuccessful.

"Not bad. Try using skills!" Hayashi said as he started spinning his weapon before bringing the blade's edge down on her sword.

"[Dancing Blade]! [Blade Aura]!" She called out the two skills, slamming her sword down as the translucent aura around the blade formed and then scattered on contact before she jumped away. "It seems like I need to use these skills in battle first...Thank you." She put down her blade after getting an understanding of her skills before going to the dorms to go to sleep.

"No problem." Hayashi left to go to Nishiwaka who was at his anvil and handed the [Reaper's Blade Shard] and two other special crafting materials over to him. "Think you can make my weapons out of these?" He asked.

"Yeah, I can. Another weapon like the ones you've been using up to now right?" The blacksmith said

"Exactly. Happy Crafting." Hayashi was about to leave before being stopped by Yoshida and Inoue.

"Yes you two?" the grey-haired male asked the duo

"We've received threats from the Military Faction and Criminal Faction..." Inoue told him

"What's the plan boss? The Criminal Faction plans to attack us in a week, and the Military Faction demands we surrender this point and turf over to them"

"How do you even know that?" Hayashi said turning his head to the side

"The Scavenger Team brought back a broken radio and the Production Team managed to repair it"

"We fight," Hayashi said now taking out his [Ronin] weapon. "We fight, we win. Destroy them from the inside out then find the leaders!" Hayashi's eyes seemed to glow and change as he faced the gates. "Let them come. We won't attack unprovoked. When they attack us, that's when we make our own counterattack. However, we cannot counter without strength. All those with the ability to fight, I suggest you step up and level up!" Hayashi said to anyone who could hear him.

"Y-Yes, sir!" Yoshida said

"All awakeners are with me. I'm Leaving the combat team and Mizuki siblings in charge until we get back. So come on." Hayashi said as he quickly gathered the other awakeners to form a zombie hunting squad.

"From here on out, it's all-out war. So let's win against the odds people!"

"Wow, just in a nick of time. I just finished tempering your weapons with a blacksmith skill."

"Weapons?" Hayashi seemed confused

"Catch." Nishiwaka smiles as three weapons were tossed to Hayashi who catches them and puts them into his subspace.

"PING!" Acquired: [Unnamed Weapon] x3

"I'll put them to good use," Hayashi said nodding

"Good, you better put them to use. Slouch" Nishiwaka grinned

"Yeah yeah, Let's go and kill as many zombies as possible!" Hayashi took the car and turned it on. "Ready?"

All of them get into the car and drive off further into the mainland where the zombies were more concentrated. When the group arrived there was a massive zombie wave already advancing through the city as the rest were all about to exit the car, Hayashi only smiles.

"Everyone, Sit back down" Hayashi had the smile of a demon on his face, scaring the rest of the members.

"What are you thinking Hayashi-san?" Yoshida seemed to fear for his life

"Hayashi-san-" Nishiwaka knew what Hayashi was thinking and noticed his hand glowing

"Wait what are you about to do you demon-" Inoue noticed the evil grin as well

"Oh no, He's gone mad..." Fueki sighed

"Wrong, I still need to test out my skill! Modification Menu! [Create Arms]!" Hayashi yelled as 10 [Iron Ingots] were ripped from his inventory to make a sharp snowplow modification and a temporary reinforcement to the car itself before driving through the wave and running over a ton of zombies, even cutting through the end of the wave. "Hahahaha! Success!" Hayashi drifts back around for a second go before being pulled by the hoodie by everyone collectively.

"HAYASHI!" They all yelled in at the same time before feeling themselves get stronger.

"What the-"Inoue questioned

"I feel...Stronger...Why?" Fueki said

"The car is our collective weapon, So I guess we all share XP. I leveled up a bit from that." Hayashi reveled in the chaos he had created before reaching his hand out the window. "[Harvest]!" hundreds of multicolored orbs rushed to his hand creating a bright flash of light before he closed his hand taking everything.

"Did you just farm materials?" Nishiwaka looked at him, deadpan expression

"Yes,yes I just did" Hayashi said with the most innocent smile on his face

"Boi, you're an auto farmer, you need to get NERFED" Yoshida laughed

"Basically you just increased our production and combat power by leaps and bounds...in a few seconds...with a car...Do it again." Inoue's eyes went from fearful to adamant in seconds

"I just leveled up 9 times from that alone! But I want to keep my fighting skills sharp. MAy we leave the car?" Fueki asked

"Yeah sure, but be careful." Hayashi said as he rolled the car back and parked in between a pair of buildings to conceal the car as the upgrades faded away. "Goodbye, precious materials. You have served your purpose." he put his hand over his heart.

"Attack!" Nishiwaka said as he transitioned to warrior mode instantly taking the heads of 3 zombies in front of him.

"KEN! KAI! ICHI!" Fueki yelled as she sliced off the heads of any zombie who came near her, creating a circular domain from blood and gaining a [Drop Item].
