Morning comes and everyone gets to the normal routine, however many people are awakened to the sound of a car revving up even waking Hayashi. "Damnit...I knew those ungrateful bastards would try to steal the car!" Hayashi ran towards the front and aimed with his [Ronin] Slingshot only to find out it was the President and the foraging team revving up the engine. "What are you doing..?" Hayashi put the slingshot away.

"Morning sleepyhead!" The president smiled at Hayashi as she got out of the car. "Look what the foraging team brought back!" The president motions over to a jerry can be surrounded by multiple glass bottles filled with an orange liquid Hayashi instantly knew what it was. "Gasoline!"

Hayashi nodded and smiled. "I'll go back to my room for now! call me for breakfast!" Hayashi ran towards his room as Akari responded.

"Right!"

Hayashi slammed his door and tried to activate his skills. "[Elemental Attunment]!" Hayashi called the name of the skill.

"PING!" Error! Skill can not be used before [7 Element Channeling] reaches LVL 2.

"Well that's stupid... let's try [7 Element Channeling]..." Hayashi begins to glow as a circle with a design in the middle starts to materialize on his chest then he begins to feel light.

"PING!" [7 Element Channeling] has reached LVL 1!

"Huh? so this is what it does..? How does it work exactly..?" Hayashi looked at the symbol as it appeared to be wind, his natural element when he's normal. "Can I keep it activated? Can I deactivate this skill?" as he asked if the skill could be deactivated by him it turns off and the lightness Hayashi felt began to fade. "That answers that I guess." Hayashi starts using it again in order to get it to level 2. Elsewhere Nishiwaka and his crew are working on a request and just got the fourth anvil along with a furnace as they are making modifications for the kendo team and steel arrowheads from cast iron for the Archery team, and making knives for the foraging team, working with a girl who is under the tutelage of Nishiwaka, and another girl who comes from a family of tailors and weavers as she is weaving leather in order to make a leather grip for the knives and sword modifications on top of repairing and creating clothing and an adult female who excels in woodworking and construction, they are those who make up the production team.

"Nishiwaka-Senpai! Another Metal Bar!" The girl said handing him an ingot as he put it to the sun and nodded before tossing it into a bag. "Good work Jess! keep it up!" Nishiwaka praised her while hammering down on the blade modification. "I have to admit...Hayashi-san is amazing. Every time there is a small movement here, he's always in the middle of it...I wonder what your plan is.."

"Achoo!... Is someone talking about me?" Hayashi said looking around.

"Hey, the parts you said you needed? here" the grown woman handed him two wooden canal-like objects as if they were a straw it was cut in half.

"Thank you, Miss Etsuko."

"My pleasure to help a youngin out like yourself, we gotta watch out for each other." She smiled at him.

Akari gets on the loudspeaker "Can I have the Combat and Foraging teams to the Principal's office? Thank you!" She took her hand off the mic button and waited as the representative of each team stepped forward.

"Hayashi Tetsu reporting for duty." Hayashi had his stone-faced look as he introduced himself

"Yamaguchi Botan reporting in ma'am.." The green-haired boy seemed nervous and a bit intimidated by Hayashi's poker face as the President breaks the ice.

"Thank you both for coming here. I've decided that measures in leaps and bounds of success do not last forever and so before our time runs out I wish to ask your two squads to cooperate in finding resources, you can use the car even if it has limited space."

"The foraging team accepts"

"I reject this."

The Foraging team leader and council president looked at him in shock. "My job is to clear out zombies and with my ability, I can harvest material from the dead zombies and mutants around me."

"That's why I'm asking you to cooperate with each other!" Akari was about to blow up at Hayashi

"I'm not finished. My team doesn't have time nor power to protect these guys if they take too long to find anything."

"That's fine because the entire foraging team will be given knives forged by your friend, Nishiwaka-san for self-defense should they encounter a zombie."

"And other survivors and possible killers?" Hayashi crossed his arms.

Yamaguchi speaks up "I- I know that my Foraging team isn't the strongest nor the most adept at combat, but when it comes to gathering resources, we're the best of the best! we work as a scout team as well and even get medical supplies and any food that could be used by us. And I'm very aware that there are other survivors but when it comes down to it, we don't have the power to save and lead them here...Only you and your team can do something like that... I beg of you please work with us!" Yamaguchi gets on his knees and put his head down on the floor.

"...Sigh..{Let me mess with him a little bit} no ulterior motives?"

"No!"

"Would you follow my command if I told you to abandon me and get my team to safety?"

"No! of course not!"

"Wrong!"

"H-Huh? what do you mean wrong...?"

"If I told you to run and leave me behind I want you to take that order to the grave. If you can agree to that, I'll work with you."

Yamaguchi and the president are taken aback "Don't let your hero of the base get to your head!" The president exclaimed.

"I'm not. As far as I'm concerned, I'm the only one with these powers and the only one who's able to take down [Mutants] on my own. If something is too strong, I expect them to run and let me handle it."

"...I-If that's your terms...then I'll agree." The president begrudgingly agreed to his condition. "Don't die on us. Dismissed." she made a hand gesture to them to leave the room as the door opened and closed both Hayashi and Yamaguchi left the room as Hayashi walked off in the direction of the infirmary.

"Wait!" Yamaguchi ran after Hayashi trying to stop him. "Why did you make that condition..?" he put a hand on his shoulder.

"I don't know about you but I want to protect my team. As their leader I take responsibility should one of them lose their lives."

"I get that but-"

"But nothing, you don't seem to get that at all. If one of your members died, would it haunt you to the grave?"

"..." Yamaguchi let his shoulder go and put his head down. "Yeah..of course, it would haunt me..."

"glad you feel that way, so I'm glad we came to an agreement..." Hayashi walked off leaving the other boy behind. He made it to the infirmary to find a staircase that led to another level of the school, the unliberated third level, feeling an obvious need to massacre the undead, taking out his [Hornet Emperor] as he opened the sliding door to one of the classroom and ran to the end of the hall watching as the living corpses flooded the hall as Hayashi smiled.

"[Elemental Attunment]! [7 Element Channeling]! [Dagger Rush!]" Hayashi activated his skills as his body begins to glow and a yellow circle with a star symbolized light appeared on his chest as [Dagger Rush] activated and his body moved without restraint at incredible speed, cutting the zombies with a speed he didn't know he even had.

"T-too fast..." Hayashi looked at his blade, covered in blood as he swiped his blade through the air the blood splattering on the floor. "Stats!"

"PING!" Hayashi's stats showed themselves

"I'm a level 12 but have the power of a level 15 or even 16.." He observed looking at the next door and slamming it open along with the door across from the first door opened then jumped back to the point he was at before gaining the attention of a few adults who report the situation to Akari while the circle on Hayashi's chest turns light blue with the lightning symbol in the middle as it starts to grow on his chest his dagger lets out a current of electricity.

"Huh..? it changed?" Hayashi felt confusion as the element on his chest changed to the wind.

"Again!?" Hayashi felt angry as the circle turned red and a Scarlett aura surrounded him feeling the heat from his body explode out of proportion, although he felt uncomfortable he slashed and brought down his blades, feeling the heat through his blades as a concentrated force focused itself through his muscles and he beat down a zombie knocking over two more. "three, four, five, six...Six left" Hayashi counted as he smiled again, feeling a bit strained as the light element focused through his body, feeling a sense of hope as he thought to himself.

"I can save them...I will rewrite fate...And survive with everyone here! [Eye of the Hunter]![Strong Shot]" Hayashi aimed at the zombie at the back with [Eye of the Hunter] as the crosshair locked on, as the shot was released piercing through the other five zombies and hitting the sixth as he sat down panting all his skills were deactivated as Akari, the foraging team, and the adult that reported the situation and ran over to him.

"Are you crazy!?" Akari looked down at Hayashi "You could have died!"

"The kid's got guts-" A brown-haired burly man peeked from behind the wall

"I-Shut it you!" she looked at the male

"Relax I'm too stubborn to die..." Hayashi sat down leaned against a wall and held out his hand."[Harvest]" Orbs flew into his hand as he felt the lights dissolve in his hand looking at the acquisitions seeing as the system told him and smiled. "Help me up here.." He extended his hand.

"Idiot...stop being so reckless..." Akari helped him up as he grunted while getting to his feet.

"Agh... Thanks" Hayashi strengthened his grip and looked into Akari's eyes. "What's the plan? We got a car, my team, the foraging team, and a president with a mind for planning"

"Come to the office, I have a transit map, get your team, and stand at the ready, Soldier.." Akari smiled as she pulled back her hand Hayashi released her hand walking in the direction of the Principal's office.

{This is it, this is the end, we win 1-0!} Akari walked into the office and brought out a year-old transit map that runs across their area and pinned it to the desk picking up a marker hearing a knock on the door. "Come in!" She raised her voice to let the people know to come in.

"Hey.." Hayashi entered the room

"What's up?" Yamaguchi enters the room after Hayashi as a bunch of members from both teams also enter various voices filled the room before going quiet.

"Alright listen up both of you..." She put a finger on a blue line and a green line.

"I want you to go near here" She pointed at Ikebukuro where their school was currently nearby. "We can gain ground at the station and if our luck hasn't run out, we can secure a means of not only getting back here but getting back here unscathed." Akari had the smile of a demon king

"And we make this place...our territory, Thanks to the new Scout team, we received information that other survivors are also building territories. Prisoners, normal people, and even police officers and military forces, and last but not least us. [Ground Zero of Revolution]. However we are not the only ones who got spied on, we were known and spied on by the police, and they only see us as minors and plan on taking the territory we already accumulated."

"That's not fair!" A kendo kid said

"Life never is," Akari responded

"Tch! Not if we can say anything about it..." An archery kid punched his hand.

The entire Foraging team hit their chests "HM! Not Now! Not Ever!" They even left the Combat team smiling a bit.

"We can't let them beat us!"

"I appreciate the enthusiasm ladies and gents but don't use up your energy on competition and start this mission! Yamaguchi?"

"Right!" He smiled putting his thumb up.

"Hayashi?"

"All over it." Hayashi took out his [Ronin] Slingshot as it glowed using its passive ability [Vow of the Blade]
