"WHAT!? {Why...? Why is he smiling!? Damn trash!}" The winged woman said as Hayashi charged his next attack combined with [Eye of the Hunter] while falling.

"[Strong Shot]!" Hayashi said expelling the enhanced pellet from the slingshot as it zipped past the woman but hits one of her wings,forcing her to land on the ground as Hayashi is caught by a tiger but still takes some fall damage due to landing on his back.

"Raaagh..." Ni-Liv says as if asking if Hayashi was hurt only to receive back rubs from Hayashi as he groans and gets up.

"First time I've ever experienced fall damage before...guess there's a first for everything. Right Ni-Liv?" Hayashi said while rubbing Ni-Liv's back while getting off. "Thank you for saving me...I'll need your help, can you lend me your strength?" Hayashi asked while looking at the tiger who only headbutts him in confirmation.

"Raaaah! [Skyward Smash!]" Nishiwaka said as he was running and jumping trying to nail the woman in the air.

"Insects...Do you not know who I am?" She smirks as she draws a sword.

"No! But we don't care!" Nishiwaka charges.

"I am the Valkarie of Beauty and Reckoning, I am Jophael!" The woman said as she parries Nishiwaka's charge and tries to bring the final strike and hears metal hitting metal as a shield appears in front of her, with the panting Yoshida there.

"I won't let you hurt them...[Razor Shield]..." The first attack that was able to hit it's mark finally set in as the valkarie backs away, her arm was bleeding from inexplicable cuts as Nishiwaka gets up.

"Thanks...whoever you are." The [Blacksmith] said picking up his bat

"Achievement: [Blindside!] NEW SKILL AQUIRED: Intervention" A voice in Yoshida's head said as he smiled.

"I'll defend you all! Just attack!" Yodshida yelled before feeling his body get lifted from the ground

"Insolent roaches!" Jophael said while brandishing her sword and showing her wings in aggression as she charged them all pushing them and scattering their positions and wounding some of them

"And I'll attack!" Chiyo said as she came from the shadows only to be blocked by a shield held by some sort of golem as she smirked and looked in Ni-Liv and Hayashi's direction as the two were charging at them at full speed speed. "Don't mind me now." She jumps away watching as the boy riding a tiger finally confronts her.

She let her golem block Ni-Liv, but the tiger had other plans, as it opened it's mouth and blast of energy shot out from point blank range destroying the Golem while Hayashi was in the air and aimed at the Valkarie.

"ENOUGH!" the valkarie was finally fed up and launched a full scale attack on Hayashi, gathering swords made of hard light and directing them at Hayashi."This is my highest tier spell! [Swords of Judgement]! Die here admirable warrior!"

"Not yet!" Hayashi began having flashbacks from when he died, from the grenade as tears formed in his eyes as the memories he tried to bury resurfaced instead he had a look of anger as he activated another skill, turning his slingshot to reveal the blade side. "[7 Element Channeling]! [Elemental Attunment]! [Chain Rush]!" as he slashed through each of the swords with a light blue aura and surrounded with the water element that came through, feeling as if he were in a video game, once he landed the woman drew her sword as Hayashi drew both his hybrid-weapons in both hands. "We end this...Right now..." He wiped away his tears.

"Agreed..." Jophael said now noticing Hayashi's allies had all recovered and got out from the places she had scattered them, but before she could even utter a word, the Archery team runs out surrounding the both of them, crossbows in hand, aimed at Jophael as she recognized a magical energy signature from each of the bolts before dropping her sword and putting both hands up. "I surrender."

"What...? Can you repeat that I don't think I heard you right." Hayashi was dumbfounded

"I said I surrender. I know when I am beaten" The valkarie said as Hayashi withdraws his hybrid weapons. "Well, do what you please. My fate is in your hands." she closed her eyes

"..." Hayashi made hand signals to the archery team which meant "Scare them"

The team nods and removed the bolts from the crossbows and aimed again

"Everyone! Fire!" He said as everyone pulled the trigger but nothing came out and made the valkarie flinch

"You're like the rest of us...scared of an early grave..." Hayashi said.

"Just kill me! End this already! Or do you wish to shatter my pride and dignity too!?" Jophel opened her eyes but before she could speak tears suddenly fell from her eyes and it became hard to speak.

"I don't plan to kill you yet...{BLOODLUST}" Hayashi activated the bloodlust skill which made his presence much more threatening than before. "Rather I want information out of you..." Hayashi said. "Now tell me everything, why you were sent here, who sent you, their abilities, everything! If you leave anything out, I'll truly show you what it feels like to be stripped of your dignity and have your pride in ruins!" Hayashi had unconsciously activated the lightning element while clenching his fist as the lightning energy around him buzzed then cracked as a fly flew past him, getting electrocuted before turning it off.

"No need to threaten me..." Jophael said as she bows her head and sighs. "As I was saying before I was sent to exterminate the people creating order, you all, and return to [The Sanctuary above Clouds] so we can let Master continue to become entertained...by your world's chaos."

"Mhm, keep going you armored pain in the ass." Hayashi said withdrawing his Bloodlust skill and calming down with the rest of the team huddling around the pair

"She calls herself the game master..."

"Name! We need a name!" Hayashi yells activating the bloodlust skill

"LOFN!" the winged woman said closing her eyes.

"Good, now give me her abilities."

"I'm sorry I cannot do so..."

"Guys, should we kill her or let her fly off?"

Most of the males of the combat team voted to spare her while a few chose to kill her out of fear, however the girls present chose to protect her, seeing as they stepped in front of her with their hands out. "No! you are not killing her, we don't want...war with whoever she may be affiliated with!"

"...Fine, tell your master this: we refuse to be pawns in her little game, if she wants to start something with us, she can come down here herself." He said making his combat team members leave her alone and allow her to fly away in which she does.

"Hey!" She turned around facing Hayashi. "I'd like to finish our duel someday!"

"I wouldn't mind! Come back any time if you want to finish it!" Hayashi waved as she turned around and flew into the sky which was filled by stars by now.

"A lot of rewards..." Hayashi smiles and starts to laugh startling his teammates

"W-We won! WE WON!" A few of the combat team members started to jump around and celebrate even the calm and silent Fueki who leads the combat team as the second in command and the rest of them become silent after hearing him laugh as he turns towards them.

"{I wonder what it would be like if I didn't stay here...I'll have to wonder about that later. I got a class awakening scroll...So that means I can choose someone I want to awaken, and I know the perfect person.}"

-LATER IN THE DAY-

Everyone seemed to be back to normal once the threat had passed however there was another battle, not between The survivors but between wills. Hayashi had asked Fueki to meet him at the roof and he left, a few minutes passing before the door that leads to the lower floors creaked open and there Fueki was, in casual wear.

"If this is some sort of love confession in the apocalypse,I admire your mental fortitude, how bold of you" She said looking down at the sitting Hayashi.

"Yeah thanks, I've been working up the courage to ask you for a long time" He said sarcastically

"Hm, is that so...?" she wondered while looking at him

"Yeah, I would like to ask you, if you would like to become like me in a sense." He told her

"No! Never! Why would I want to be a reckless idiot like you!?" She told him

"Not what I meant. I mean would you like...How do I say this so you can understand..." Hayashi said. "Would you like to have super powers?"

"Pffft! Is that what you came to ask me? If I wanted super powers?" She was about to laugh before Hayashi pulls out a scroll instantly making her stop

"I'm asking you if you would like to awaken, just like me, awaken a power dormant within your soul." He hands the scroll to her.

"You're really not joking are you...?" Fueki looked at Hayashi who had the most serious expression.

"Not in the slightest. You're my second lieutenant and someone I can count on should I not be able to lead the team. Will you take this power?"

"...Power huh? It's the power I'll need..." She looks at the scroll before taking it and opening it.

A pillar of light shines and hits Fueki and lifts her body into the air, as if it were a beacon before she lands in Hayashi's arms, running a high fever and Hayashi takes Fueki to his room and lays her on his bed and watches after her.

"It seems the trial has begun. Good luck." Hayashi said before pulling out some of the skill books: [Blade Aura], [Refine], [Fighting Spirit] ,[Repair], and [Apraisal].

"PING!" Skills [Apraisal] and [Eye of the Hunter] are similar skills, would you like to fuse these skills?

"PING!" Skills [Fighting Spirit] and [7 Element Channeling] are simular skills would you like to fuse these skills?

"Yes...Fuse these skills please!" Hayashi says as lights start to surround him and Fueki as his skills had fused before the lights stopped and Hayashi looks at the system. "System, Stats!"

[Harvest]-Take resources from a monster's body depending on the profiency of the skill monsters weaker than the user will be harvested faster while stronger and bigger monsters than the user will take longer to break down. THis skill also comes with a lootspace and the ability to break down materials

[Chain Rush]-Attack multiple targets with blinding speed, or attack a larger target multiple times

[Arcane:Snipe]-Pierce through many targets in one shot (LVL4)

[Area:Morale]- Increase the morale of yourself and anyone within the area those affected will gain +2 AGI +3 STR and +1 DEX (LVL4)

[Hunter's Footsteps]-This ability switches between speed and stealth. The user can switch to stealth at the cost of movement speed. The user can also use this skill to gain a boost to their own speed (LVL 3)

[BLOODLUST]-Make your presence more threatening and direct your murdurous intent at one person or a group. You may also use this on your weapons to give them your murdurous presence
