Hayashi and Ni-Liv finish their food while Inoue and Yoshida finished their food as Hayashi hands them a water bottle. "We need to move. I don't want it to get dangerous." Hayashi took out his [Ronin] Slingshot and took out 20 [Metal Plates] as his [Ronin] Slingshot would begin to glow while being fused with 10 of the metal plates.

The slingshot let out a red glow and shockwave of energy as it descended into his hand. "One more..." Hayashi said now taking out his [Hornet Emporer] Slingshot and repeating the process now his weapons were [Rank 2] as both the blade and frame of both Slingshots had seemed to increase in respective areas giving more melee range and accuracy to each weapon as they pulsed with power. "Lets get out of here." Hayashi said now walking away from their resting spot.

"Right." Chiyo licks her fingers and quickly follows Hayashi with Yoshida not far behind before encountering around six zombies each around the F1 level, still generally weak but stronger than the avarage zombie as Hayashi prepeared his own skills,Inoue stops him and pulls out the sword. "Let me deal with them." She runs up to them using her damage bonus she instantly kills three of the zombies to clear the way while Hayashi and Yoshida clear out and harvest the rest with their skills before quickly make it to a landmark: A stone with Kanji carved into it

"PING"Syncro-Syphen activated!

Ni-Liv activated and syphened off the zombie corpses risidule power for itself growing stronger passively as another skill became unchained but not completely usable as a display showed the meter was half full as one of the chains were removed from the shackled skill. Encountering more and more zombies, the trio had realized they stumbled into a zombie wave mostly filled with weak F3 to slightly stronger E1 zombies as Chiyo takes out her kunai and throwing stars and Hayashi had created <Stinger> and <Flash> rounds with his skill.

"Hey Kid! Use your shield bash skill on these guys!" Hayashi told Yoshida as he shoots a flash round at a zombie, making a large burst of blinding light while throwing the rest in the way of the Shield Bash skill's course of direction.

"R-right!" Yoshida uses shield bash hitting many of the flash rounds and activating the shield's skill [Divine Mirror]

The light from the Flash rounds deflects off the shield and become hard light constructs that accumulate and burst forward ripping the zombies to pieces before advancing, Ni-Liv's meter is almost full as another chain withdraws from it's sealed skill as the cat absorbed risidual energy from the zombies and the flash rounds that became hard light constructs.

"<Joint Combonation Skill>[ Light Arrows from the Shadows]!" Hayashi said the name of the combination skill as he stood there. "We're almost to the base. A little warning: most of us are teenagers with a few adults, on top of that the entire base is running on a responsible teenager as the leader." Hayashi tells the both of them before going ahead.

"You're joking right?" Inoue asked

"Not in the slightest, the base is being led by the school's own student council president. Her name is Baisho Akari." Hayashi gives her a serious deadpan expression.

"I'm surprised your base hasn't fallen apart...I'll be more surprised if the base improves being run by angsty teens..." She mumbles

"It might not be all bad. Maybe they have a place to let us stay." Yoshida tries to cheer her up and pats her back with his free hand as they reach the gates of the school.

"We're here, come on" Hayashi tells them as he opens the gate.

"Mew!" Ni-Liv starts to glow and meow happily before his small meows become large purs

"N-Ni Liv!?" Hayashi was surprised to see how the small cat had become a large tiger

"Raoh..." The tiger said while putting it's head on Hayashi

"Well that's new...Can you turn back into a cat for me Ni-Liv?" Hayashi held Ni-Liv's head in his hands

"What the- Is that the little cat that followed you!?" Yoshida said

"That thing is huge!" Inoue exclaimed

"That's what she said." Hayashi said sarcastically before rubbing the tiger's head as it turned back into a small cat. "Better" Hayashi takes the cat and the two other awakeners to the school turned fortress of the apocalypse.

"Wow, even a car, someone's been busy" Yoshida said looking at the car Dan and Hayashi had found

"Hayashi-san!" Mizuki Kenji called out his name

"Hayashi-Saaaan!" The combat team tackled him as soon as they saw him making the two other awakeners snicker at the sight of Hayashi being buried under a mountain of people with Ni-Liv avoiding being toppled off Hayashi and sitting on the hill of people.

"Mew..." Ni Liv meows as Hayashi and the squad laughed together,Fueki smiles tenderly as the rest of the survivors looked about from the windows and greeted them as the combat squad looked at the two new members who waved to the group as they recomposed themselves.

"Well that was...something..." Hayashi said as he dusted himself off. "This is my team, made of archery and kendo members plus me." Hayashi introduced the bulk of his team to the two. "Team, this is Inoue Chiyo and Yoshida Minato, both of which are just like me in a sense." Hayashi makes a hand gesture.

"H-Hi everyone I'm Inoue, I'll be in your care." She bows upon introducing herself

"I'm Yoshida Minato, nice to meet you all!" Yoshida bows as well

"OS!" The entire team bows in unison before bursting into laughter.

"Mhm. Well this base can get rowdy sometimes, but for how rowdy we get, this place is organized by groups or teams. The labor team is the largest, my combat team, A foraging team, a scout team and a production team as well as the student council president who runs the entire place. Everyone ends up joining at least one of these teams." HAyashi gave them the basic rundown of how they work. "So choose yourselves, I've got practice." Hayashi tells them before walking over to the place him and Dan normally spar and getting punched in the back of the head. "OW!"

"Welcome back...Ready for me to drill more techniques into you!?" Dan said as he went on the offence against Hayashi as he uses a combination of fast punches and hard kicks while Hayashi blocked the attacks and tries to counter, only to fail and have Dan push him back.

"Tch!" Hayashi charged using [Boxing] and threw a few jabs while Dan blocked and then threw a haymaker before transitioning to [Dragon God Fist] techniques and throwing in a few kicks catching Dan off guard but manages to eveade until he gets kicked in the stomach by Hayashi making him stumble back.

"Alright boy...Now you've done it!" Dan charges Hayashi with another combination of attacks that make him seem nigh unstopable however Hayashi decides to avoid this combo by backing up but gets hit in the face and sent flying.

"PING! PING!" +1 DEF +1 VIT New Mission: Win against Dan.

"Now I don't even have a choice..." Hayashi said as he looked at Dan while getting up and getting in the stance when he would dual wield his daggers and charged. "Here goes nothing!" Hayashi closed his fists and evaded Dan's guard and hits him with a back hand followed up by a jab to the forehead. "More...More!" Hayashi imitated all the weapon users he had seen up to this point unconsciously first imitating Kagitsune and Yumiko then Akari and Fueki, the Mizuki siblings before imitating Dan once more.

"What the!" Dan couldn't block all the combinations that Hayashi thought of while imitating those he's seen fight before, however Dan soon looked at how his hands were positioned, as if holding a staff, then bare-handed, dual weild daggers, a single sword, and dual blades. Dan managed to get the hang of this skill Hayashi had thought of and blocked his next attack. "How innovative of you!" Dan kicked him in the stomach.

"Ugh!" Hayashi looked at him and smiled before getting back in stance.

"I'm going to win..." Hayashi panted and charged Dan again who threw a punch, which seemed slow to Hayashi who winds up his own punch as Dan's punch grazed his face as he lets out an uppercut that makes Dan fall on the floor before Hayashi puts a hand to his face. "M-my win..." Hayashi said smiling while tired

"It's your win kid...congrats..." Dan said as he admitted defeat

"An unnamed skill...? Right... From last time with the swordsman...but martial arts?" Hayashi smiles a little. "I grant the unnamed skill: Dust Gathering-Danu's Spear and for the unnamed martial arts I'll call it Unlimited Phantom Weapon Method"

"Ugh, what are you doing Tetsu...?" The teacher called out to his fully recovered student.

"Nothing. Now let's get you up, Teach..." Hayashi picked up Dan and grunted although with less struggle than he thought before walking over to the doorstep and dropping Dan there for the rest to put him in the infirmary. The newcomers had even watched the battle of martial arts and noticed that Hayashi hadn't used the power of the system even once but before everyone could keep celebrating the sky was covered with clouds and a woman dipped from the clouds, dressed in cloth and battle armor looking down condesendingly at the [Ground Zero] group and scowling in disgust before speaking.

"You're the stragglers who survived huh...Making a living through the hell we created...This pride...and Happiness all Disgust me. Be exterminated like the bugs you are, in accordance with-" A shot is fired near her face, cutting her cheek with a sword-shaped pellet. "M-My face...You dare scar my beautiful face!?" The winged woman yelled as her face contorted in anger looking at the grey-haired marksman in his signature stance after firing a shot.

"Yes, I do dare! You ruined a perfect day with your clouds!" Hayashi puts up his middle finger in retaliation. "And In accordance with me, get the hell out of our domain!" Hayashi yelled at the angel. "And for the record! You were pretty ugly to begin with! Even if you had make-up!" He taunted her.

"You...YOU!!!" The winged woman creates an orb of light and is fired at Hayashi who prepared to use a skill but instead saw a slightly shorter frame block his view.

"[Arcane: Sheild]!" Yamashida had blocked the angel's attack as its force scattered in different directions before putting his shield down. "Jeez...so impulsive..." He said as he looked at Hayashi.

"How!? How is a mere child able to block my attack!? You must be exterminated! You're too dangerous to live!" The winged woman yelled and created more light orbs as Hayashi finished creating <Flash>&<Shattering> rounds then fusing them together, the rest of the awakened allied within [Ground Zero] rushed to Hayashi's side. Together there were five of them: Hayashi, Yamashida, Inoue,Ni-Liv and Nishiwaka as the five of them stood together to become the force that would drive this aggressor out or die trying. "DIE!" She yelled in anger as she was about to fire her scattering light attack Hayashi attacked first with a [Link Attack] using [Eye of the Hunter]to lock on to the woman[Strong Shot] to shoot the <Shattering> round and [Arcane: Snipe] with the <Flash> round maximizing the use gotten out of both shots by shooting the <Flash> round into the <Shattering> round making a more explosive and blinding light combined with the shrapnel effect of the <Shattering> round before using [Hunter's Footstep] to sneak away from her view before she recovered her sight.

"YOU RAT!" She had recovered from the blinding light "AAAAHHHH! DIE!!!" She attempted to fire the light beams again but noticed the team of awakener's had scattered and Hayashi was nowhere to be seen on the battlefield. "WHERE IS HE!? WHERE IS THAT WRETCH OF A HUMAN!!?" she frantically looked for him before having her back cut twice.

"[Shadowless Shuriken: Shadow Star!]" Inoue attacks from her blind spot throwing two throwing stars at the angered angel now smirking as it tried to attack her only for someone else to blindside the angered armored woman. It was Hayashi as he attacked the angel from below, using himself like a projectile however, he not only missed, but seemed to hit something hard, as if there was an invisible wall stopping him from making contact with her as the woman had a twisted smile on her face as Hayashi fell towards the ground thinking that he'd break his own bones and she would make him feel pain and agony for cutting her face but instead, she only sees him aim for her again.

"[Eye of the Hunter]!"
