"Harem Master, show me the roles of the top five consort of the monarch," I inquired and the system did just as instructed.

4th Consort Rong : In charge of the kitchen and food.

5th Consort Lan : in charge of the maids, servant and duties of the palace [ Works alongside Ma'am Han ]

These are the duties of the consorts of the female monarch! ]

After I was done reading it I sighed slightly, I couldn't help but wonder what role I would get once I become a main consort haha.

"Harem Master, I would love to activate the scanning skill now!"

I said and the next response I got was a slightly loud beeping sound as the program displayed before me.

It appeared before me and with that, I tapped on my most obvious reply, "Yes"

And before I knew it, a blue glow appeared and scanned on the healing pill that was placed on the table.

It scanned 2-3 times before it then stopped and it's information showcased itself before me.

It repeated itself again and again as a smirk appeared on my lips.

How unfortunate I am tsk tsk. I have only been here for just a day and an attempt on my life has already been made.

I asked the system and its response was like I expected but only with a slight twist.

Meanwhile, Seated comfortably on his wide bed was 2nd Consort Xi and just then, a knock was heard on the door.

"Come in," he declared and a servant made his way in.

"Is it done?" Consort Xi asked as the servant nodded and bowed.

"Yes my Lord, the healing pill has been sent and it will be sure to be used by the 2nd Mid consort," the servant said as a devious laugh escaped Consort Xi's lips.

"Although I am in charge of the medical department of the Monarch's Palace, it was clearly said that 3rd consort Wei has been the one handling the exchange of healing pills so directed whatever healing pills that was given to Wei Feng from him."

"Hahahahah, it's simply killing two birds with one stone… The other dies and the other gets blamed, muahahahaha!"

He laughed as his servant trembled slightly, "B-but my Lord, what if the Monarch decides to investigate more on it.. everyone knows well that she adores Consort Wei, what if she finds evidence that leads to you," he stated.

As consort Xi smirked, "Don't worry, that won't happen, you may leave now!"

He instructed as the servant bowed and left.

And as soon as he left, another man came into the room, with an Aura like that of a shadow, he bowed slightly at the 2nd Consort.

"I want his mouth sealed, you know what to do," Consort Xi's words were short but the man immediately understood as he then left the room like the shadow he was.

"My dear servant, there's no way the Monarch would find any leads against me because my only lead is you and you are now dead!"

And with that, his evil laughter filled the room.

It was seven in the evening and I made my way towards the Monarch's dining room with Sisi beside me.

It has been five days and within these days, I have gotten myself well familiarized with these new surroundings and all the people in it.

I made sure to set a good image of myself to the maids, especially to Sisi. I have monitored her and now I'm fully sure that she's clean and has successfully won her trust. Now I know there won't be many leaks around me.
