"What!? 500 gold for just three bags of rice, what nonsense.. h-how dare those Argh!"

The Monarch exclaimed in anger throwing a fit and seated before her was General Fei.

A tall and beautiful woman with hair as red as blood.

Clenching her fist, she said, "Your majesty, I have 50,000 men ready your command.. I'll raid those northerners of their heads in less than a day, please grant me the right!"

She said as she bowed slightly and seeing that, Xia su just sighed, "What's the need, we can't go killing every kingdom we do business with... They have been working for us for years and now they are trying to embezzle so much money from us in the name of scarcity.. sigh!"

"Just find a way to negotiate a more lower price with them, if you can reduce it to 300 then it would be best!"

"Your Majesty! That is also way to much.." General Fei said aloud.

"Enough! Do you want the people to starve? We have no other choice for now, I'll find a way to get more goods for cheaper prices but for now, food comes first. You may leave now," the Monarch said as she then rested her head slightly on her pillow as General Fei bowed and left.

Meanwhile, Seated around a circle shaped table were a group of handsome men.

Three seemed to be quite familiar as we could recognize them as "3rd Consort Wei, 4th Consort Rong and 5th Consort Lan"

And seated beside them were two other unfamiliar men.

2nd Consort Xi and 1st Consort Ming.

"Ah! Consort wei, why were you so cold towards your brother.. he is your brother right? Because I'm pretty sure I'm not mistaken!" Said Consort Rong as he poured himself a cup of tea.

Hearing his words, wei Cheng had a rather stoic and calm face, it was like he was already expecting their curious questions.

2nd Consort remark was a little harsh but the others just laughed in unison while Wei Cheng and Consort Ming just kept quiet and played their game with out most seriousness.

"You're talking to much!" Consort Lan warned.

"Oh please, it's not like I'm lying or anything... We all know that her Majesty favours 3rd Consort more and I'm pretty sure that once the time for her majesty to bear an heir comes, she would loose her chastity to Consort wei!"

He said as he laughed foolishly while other just sighed.

After the game, Wei Cheng and the other Consort left, leaving only 2nd Consort Xi with his servant Lin alone.

"My Lord, should I look into consort wei Cheng's brother for you?" His servant asked while bowed.

"No need, I already know enough about him. Those two brothers always have a way of getting everything they want, I won't let that happen..m that Wei Feng has to go no matter what..."

"But my Lord, I'm sure he would cause no harm.. after all he is with so many scars making him so ugly, I'm not even sure her Majesty would spare him a glance with such a face, so there's nothing to be worried about..."

His servant commented and hearing his words, Consort Xi couldn't help but Burst into laughed.

"Did I hear wrong or did you just call wei Feng ugly?" He asked as once again he burst into uncontrollable laughter.

"Now let me tell you something, if there is anything about those two brothers then it is the fact that they are anything but ugly. Wei Feng may look disoriented because of his scars but these days, scars can easily be healed through healing pills created by cultivators."
