Surviving As An Extra In Fantasy World Isn't Easy

Was he a pawn that would be disposed at the end or would he reach the end of the board and flip the whole board? ............................. It all began with a nightmare….. A nightmare where corpses were strewn across the vast land and blood flowed like a river all around. Roy, a normal 20-year-old college student filled with hope and aspirations, found his world breaking apart, just a day after he had a terrible nightmare. The very next day, Roy died in an unfortunate train accident and reopened his eyes in the world of the modern fantasy book he had read. Dawn Of Legend. A world filled with myths, legends, and dangers lurking all around. Behind the beautiful world filled with opportunities lies a grim prospect of destruction threatening the stability and peace of the current generation. And in such a world, he woke up in the body of an extra called Lucas whose existence seemed to be quite negligible as there was no mention of a character named Lucas. He did not know whether this man even survived the first arc or did he even reached the academy safely. Since most of the details are omitted, it would not surprise him if this man had died somewhere in the beginning or middle of the plot. Finding himself in the world of the novel, countless questions come to his mind. Is this transmigration just a mere coincidence, or are there any external factors involved in it? Does the world have some plans for him, or is he some kind of pawn who could be disposed of, when he becomes worthless? And the most important thing, will the future events follow as mentioned in the novel? Can a mere rabbit survive in a den filled with wolves? Roy, who had read countless novels, knew better than anyone else that there would surely be some sort of butterfly effort that might change the plot, and the world that needs to be saved by the protagonist might be destroyed due to a change in plot. No… No….Let's think about unpleasant things later. As long as I can survive and gain a stable footing, I can work out something. Roy, who was now Lucas, decided to give his all to survive in this harsh world and get stronger so that he would not get swept away by the adversaries that the world was going to face in the future.  With fierce tenacity and grit to live, Lucas strides ahead, trying his best to avoid the bleak prospect of the world ending and along the journey, searching for the secrets behind his transmigration, if there are any. ................................ English is not my native language nor I am good at it. Sometimes I have to rely on Google Translator to translate some sentences. Still, I try my very best to write as smoothly as possible. If you find a mistake, please comment as soon as you read because once the novel becomes long, it becomes very difficult to read all the pile-up comments in one place. ……………

Announcement

Hello, everyone I hope you are doing well.

I want to inform you all that an updated schedule may be irregular in September and October.

I just got a notice that my exams are starting on September 11.

And unfortunately, there will be three exams one after another.

I have been hearing about exams since August so I have tried to create a stockpile to avoid a shortage of chapters. I decided to release 3-4 chapters a week from so that I don't run out and take a long break of a few weeks.

Don't know if Lucas's misfortune affected me in real life or through supernatural means he transferred his black unlucky pot to me.

Enough joke for now, there are some things I want to address.

The first thing about the plot. There is a mixed reaction but many tilt on the side that it's bland and isn't good.

There are a set of things I plan and foreshadowing I put. Then I made sure that the events seemed as reasonable as they could though there me some random out of pulling events.

I try my best to write what I envision but it seems things aren't working well. However, it is not as if I am ruining story on my own will. Creating scenarios, managing the power scale, keeping up with character growth, imagining the fights and deciding the end of arcs is a bit of a hassle.

I accept that I make many mistakes and some...okay, most of the time the pacing is off and things are uninteresting but believe me I didn't do it intentionally.

For example, the tournament always happens with 1 Vs 1 fight but since it happens in the Original one like that. I had to come up with new and unique trials and scaling.

This Tournament was supposed to happen around 250 or around that. There were lot of scenes of other characters that I have to cut to increase the pace which now make them look like extra.Thats why I always think it's better to go slow then rush and lose the things. But the complaints of being slow was too overwhelming and I had to rush after 100.But that's it,I will slow down the pace after the tournament.

I can only say that I am trying my level best.

So, if you feel after reading the whole tournament that it's not worth it then it's not so it's better if you don't spent coins and read from P.S If you want to keep track.

Even though I have earned bit, till today I don't have guts to buy coins so it wouldn't be good if force yourself to read and spend coins with great expectations but feel betrayed.

And even though this book failed, there is nothing to be depressed about.

If you succeed just smile, if you fail just try to learn.

Also, there is a reader of mine who is proofreading and taking care of errors for free.He wants to keep his name hidden so without taking his name,I want to sincerely thank him for the help from the bottom of my heart.

Another thing.

As you know story like this goes well with First POV.I also want to write in that but I am afraid of mixing the both and make mistakes but since I have now someone to help me out,if you all want I can shift to First PoV however untill then I will put some FPOV scenes while Lucas inner thoughts are conveyed.

So that's it for now and I hope you all have a nice day.

Take care, my fellow readers.
