I realized that the coming off age ceremony wasn't as simple as I thought. The ceremony runs like this

4. Visiting the Noble Consorts and Beauty

5. Greeting the Crown Prince and Imperial Prince

6. Visiting the Royal Prince and Princes

7. Meeting with the other Princesses

In each category it has stages and levels; 9 Mortal Realms and 7 Profound Realms, where each stage has 9 levels. If one passes the ninth level of the seventh Profound Realm he or she has become an immortal;

Levels

1. Beginning (1-3)

2. Middle (4-6)

3. Late (7-9)

Once reaching the Late level of Sovereign Profound Realm, one will experience tribulation to ascend as a immortal and cultivations as a immortal also has its stages.
