Leaving for the airport

Kai's POV

As she stood before me, almost naked, I couldn't help but admire her body.

Her curves were exquisite, her cleavage enticing, and her hips and ass were perfect.

It was hard to believe that someone as stunning as her was still a virgin.

But just as expected, I could only admire her body, but that feeling of mating with her wasn't still there. Maybe with time, a little change would happen. I could miss my flight in the next hour, and the drive to the airport would take up to half an hour.

Swiftly, I dressed her in the dress I had chosen, before I made her turn her back to me, and when she did, I zipped up the zipper of the dress, making her delicate curves evident, and I liked it that way.

I took some time to check her out as I stood behind her, and I would admit that the dress was made for her as it outlined her delicate slim waist.

I immediately brushed her hair, adjusting it to flow down her back and cover the exposed area.

I fetched a pair of black glossy heels from the closet, squatting to put them on her feet. Her feet slide in so simply, making me wonder if it was a coincidence that the things I had bought for her fitted her perfectly.

Once she was ready, I stood up and walked back into the closet.

I came out with a black sleek handbag and a spray.

I sprayed her with a subtle fragrance before I threw it back into the closet.

I opened the handbag and peered inside, before returning my gaze to the lady who had been staring at the floor all this while without saying a word.

I immediately brought out my wallet from my pocket, and without counting, I transferred a huge amount of money into her bag, before closing it.

I then handed her the black handbag, which she took reluctantly.

Noticing that I had forgotten to apply lipstick, I turned to her to check her out.

She had just walked out of the bathroom, so why were her lips still so reddish?

"Have you applied lip lipstick?" I asked, but she shook her head.

"Are you sure?" I asked further. Normally it was supposed to be a baby pink color if she hadn't applied anything.

"It has always been like that," she spoke almost in a whisper, while I remained silent, my eyes on her lips.

Her gaze was fixed on the floor, avoiding my gaze.

Using my fingers to trace her lips, confirming if she was telling the truth, I realized that her lips were naturally red, and were already enticing enough.

She looked beautiful the way she was, so I saw no reason for her to wear earrings.

With everything in order, I returned my wallet to my pocket, then took her hand, leading her out of the room.

Before leaving, I grabbed my suitcase from the bed and checked if she looked good enough to be seen walking with me.

Satisfied by her looks, I took out the key from my pocket and opened the door before we walked out of the room and entered the elevator.

Walking out of the elevator with my hands still holding hers so that she would be able to keep up my pace and wouldn't try running away, I watched as she squinted her eyes due to the bows and respectful greetings I was receiving from the individuals.

When I reached the parking garage, I opened the door before throwing my suitcase in it.

It seems she still doesn't know who I am because if she does, she would have been freaking out by now.

"Get in," I instructed as I held the door open for her, and watched as she climbed into the car, avoiding my gaze.

Slamming the car door shut, she flinched, while I took the driver's seat, started the engine and drove out of the hotel's compound.

Upon reaching the airport, I parked the car and stepped out, waiting for my men who had been assigned to guard it.

"Good day, Your Highness." They greeted me as I approached, and I nodded before I directed their attention to the car.

"You see that car over there? The four of you will take care of it until my return. Understood?" I commanded.

"Yes, boss. We'll do as instructed," they responded in unison.

Satisfied, I turned and began walking away with my suitcase in hand.

Something nagged at me, and I paused, closing my eyes. I hope I haven't forgotten anything important.

But before I could resume my steps, the image of the crying lady flashed through my eyes, and I stopped dead in my tracks.

That was when I realized that I had left the sleeping lady in my car. How could I have forgotten about her? I ruffled my hair as I tilted my head backwards.

Having already distanced myself from the parking spot, I retrieved my phone and called one of my men who might have discovered her by now.

"Your Highness, we found a lady in your car," his worried voice echoed through the speaker.

"Bring her to me immediately," I ordered firmly.

"Should we use the car?"

"Yes, don't waste my time," I replied before ending the call, slipping my phone back into my pocket.

I waited, not wanting to attract unwanted attention from the news broadcasters eager to delve into the reason why his highness rejected his mate. It must be all over the news now.

A wry scoff escaped my lips as I entertained the thought.

Soon enough, my car pulled up in front of me, and Ariana emerged, still appearing dazed from the effects of the chloroform.

Our eyes met, and I quickly assessed her condition, relieved to see that she seemed presentable.

"Why on earth were you sleeping in my car?" I inquired as I resumed walking, with her trailing behind, visibly exhausted.

"Why didn't you let me sleep? Couldn't I rest for just a minute?" she whined, attempting to keep up. I shook my head in disapproval of her question.

She had been asleep throughout the entire ride to the airport and was now asking for more time to sleep.

Shaking my head, I turned away from her, only to freeze in my tracks.

Gripping her hand tightly, I picked up my pace, blending into the crowd.

"What's happening?" Her voice reached me as we started running.

"Just keep running," I replied, glancing back and noticing that they had spotted us.

Who were they? There were no people order than the news broadcasters.

I don't want to be crowded by them if not something bad might happen.

I just hate it, I hate their questions.

The news broadcasters were in pursuit, and I was determined not to let them catch up.

Thankfully, I spotted the aeroplane I had boarded earlier and we sprinted towards it.

As we reached the airstairs of the aeroplane, she abruptly stopped running, causing me to halt as well before I could step on it.

I turned sharply to face her, perplexed by her sudden pause.

"Are we going on an aeroplane? Isn't it too risky? What if something goes wrong? What if there's an accident?" She bombarded me with anxious questions.

I swiftly interrupted her, needing to quell her concerns.

"Stop talking and remain silent. Are you jinxed?" I snapped.

She shook her head in response.

"Nothing would happen, and don't speak unless I permit it. I wouldn't mind slapping you in front of everyone," I coldly warned her.

With a scowl on her face, she nodded. It was obvious she wanted to reply to me, but for now, she understood that I owned her.

Taking hold of her wrist, I pulled her with me as I hurriedly climbed the airstairs, since the broadcasters were already approaching.

As luck would have it, the door closed just in time, preventing any intruders from disturbing me.

The pilots started the engine, and the aeroplane began its motion, accelerating on the runway before ascending into the sky.
