As our trip continued, tensions began to rise between Milo and Dan. Milo was always on edge, constantly checking his phone and disappearing for hours. Meanwhile, Dan grew increasingly distant, spending most of his time on business calls and avoiding us. One afternoon, while Milo was out, Dan approached me with a strange request.
