Chapter 22 - Ji Fun's Battle Urge

The blue-eyed white-skinned male, the two burly-looking boys by his side, then the beautiful girl who walked directly beside the blue-eyed boy and were named respectively as Chu Cheng, Ji Fun, Gu Xi and Xiao Xiao, were naturally one of the elite disciples of the Great Dragon-Elephant sect.

They had just returned from a faraway wilderness that was infested with large numbers of small-level bandits who were cultivators mostly at the twelfth layer of Common Law Warrior, and then a few at the first layer of Ascending Law Warrior, which therefore suggested that this elite Outer Court Disciples of the Great Dragon-Elephant sect, should at least be at the eleventh or twelfth layer of Common Law Warrior.

After climbing down from the carriage that brought them here, they looked at the tremendously large and beautiful silvery gate of their sect and sighed.

It had been a very long time that they left the sect and were only retuning! They wondered what had gone on in the sect and what might have possibly changed.

Then they walked in with an elegant composure, gracefulness, and a confidence that couldn't be shattered by anything before immediately heading straight for the Outer Court Disciples residence.

As soon as they arrived at the Outer Court Disciples residence, many eyes turned to look at them with great surprise in their eyes. Then all sorts of words began to ring out which the newly arrived people only ignored and headed straight for their respective rooms.

"What?! Fallen Blue Dragon, Winter Snake, Warhammer and Axe Cleaver have finally returned? Wonderful! Things are about to get much more interesting from hereon."

"Chu Cheng the Fallen Blue Dragon is back. I wonder what he will do about that Hu Cheng guy. A really interesting show is about to occur. Can't wait to witness how it all unfolds. Haha!"

"Even Xiao Xiao returned with him? Are they a couple now? Why are they walking side by side? Something amazing must have happened between these two really proud bastards."

Sun Kang who was diligently studying three of the numerous arts that had surfaced in his memory, didn't know that four of the numerous, elite Outer Court disciples who left the sect about 7 months ago to train, have returned to be publicly acclaimed True Geniuses, after going through a lot of life and death battles with really vicious and sinister bandits that could be found almost everywhere in a particular wilderness.

While the blue-eyed boy called Chu Cheng and was nicknamed Fallen Blue Dragon because of the Great BlueFire Dragon bloodline that flowed within his body, fully narrowed his eyes when he overheard some of them talking about what he might possibly do to Hu Cheng who had just acquired an elder medallion whilst being at the third layer of Common Law Warrior stage.

"Interesting." Chu Cheng said with his eyes still narrowed.

He then said further as his eyes returned to normal, "So, there is someone like that? Amazing. I would love to meet this person."

The people walking beside him also heard what some of the crowd said and turned to look at Chu Cheng with deeply curious looks in their faces.

Then Xiao Xiao said to them, "Don't tell me the standard of our sect has dropped only after leaving like seven months ago."

"No, it hasn't." Chu Cheng said with a rather radiant smile in his face.

He then said further to elaborate on what he said, "That person they are talking about must be someone who is actually strong and powerful. He must have obtained the elder medallion using just the astounding skills he possesses, and the truly formidable fighting prowess that he has."

"Besides, look at the way they are talking about him with reverence in their eyes. He surely sounds like someone that might even go toe-to-toe with me, despite knowing that I am someone aspiring to be renowned as an outstanding combat genius, and a disciple that can represent the sect on really special and glorious occasions."

"That's very true." Gu Xi who was known as Warhammer because of the Warring Hammer King battle art that he studied, said to Chu Cheng with an understanding nod of his head.

He then continued with a fighting intent beginning to emit from his whole body, "If what you say is right, I would love to fight with this person and see if I can collect the elder medallion from him."

"How lowly." Chu Cheng immediately said to the surprise of the three people gathered around him.

He then said further, "Why would you want to do that, if I may ask? To me, that's a rather lowly thing to do. Don't you know that all your efforts to survive when we were being rushed here and there by dangerous cultivating bandits at that wilderness, will all amount to nothing once you try to fight that guy. Like, how can you stoop so low to fight someone at the third layer of Common Law Warrior, when you are at the Eleventh Layer? Come on, bring forth that glorious aura and showcase that tyrannical strength that you have struggled to develop while trying to survive in that dangerous land."

"Let's amaze everyone by fighting the higher-ranking disciples at the Ascending Law Warrior stage. We shall show them that we have what it truly takes to be possessors of an elder medallion. Furthermore, we shall prove to them that we can be called geniuses who can represent the sect at stellar occasions and continent-wide special events!"

"Yes, we shall do that." Xiao Xiao said with a beaming attractive smile appearing in her really gorgeous face.

It was at this point that the door to Sun Kang's room suddenly opened with Sun Kang stepping out to see what was causing the cacophonous noises that was bombarding his ears as he tried to study his clan's ancient arts, and two other really powerful ancient arts that were lost but found by his clan and kept as their own.

The instant Sun Kang appeared all of a sudden, the noises immediately died out with a certain tension appearing in the atmosphere.

Then Ji Fun who was known as the 'Axe Cleaver', simply because of the Shadowless Cleaving Axes battle art that he studied which caused him to be engaged in battles nearly all the time, and then the frightening tattoo of a broken axe that could be found above his right eye which gave him a rather savage look, suddenly shouted to the shock of Chu Cheng after a burning urge for intense battle abruptly bellowed up within his powerfully built, battle-scarred body.

"You are Hu Cheng, right?! I can perceive that you are a formidable fighter. Come on, let's fight! And don't you dare go easy on me!!"
