Chapter 9: Diamond Match

wilight Richard Nicholas arrives at the villa in Walnut Quarter.

As soon as she entered the house, her father-in-law's family was sitting on the sofa, smiling at a man, seeing Richard Nicholas returning to Vivian Elizabeth. She waved him back.

"Richard came here. Let me introduce you to a little bit. This is Jake Thomas, son of his neighbor's aunt Thomas. Thomas went abroad to study, and he just came back today."

Jake Thomas reached out to Richard Nicholas: "Hello."

"Hello."

When Richard Nicholas shook hands with Jake, Thomas immediately felt the force on Jake Thomas' hand slightly increase.

He knows this is Richard Nicholas, who's always angry, but no matter how angry he is, it's wise to talk.

Vivian Elizabeth saw that and quickly explained to Richard Nicholas: "Maybe Richard misunderstood."

"No, I'm sure I saw it that way."

Jake Thomas leaned back against the sofa: "Okay, this is full on the street, right? Then pick me up two, and let me open my eyes!"

"Okay, let me call my friend. I remember when he saw that these diamonds could be made into glass balls to play with, so he picked up a lot. I think he got a basket. I'll tell him to bring them over."

Richard Nicholas shrugged and dialed the phone.

"Alo Pisces, can you come to A City for a moment? Bring the crystal ball basket you picked up here and lend me for two days."

Richard Nicholas said softly, just hanging up the phone: "He said he'll bring it in ten minutes."

"Acting, acting, acting, you're real." Jake Thomas pointed his hand at his head: "If you can bring out a basket of diamonds today, each one of them is like mine, then Thomas here will cut your head down for you as a chair. You'll leave Serena for me if you don't have them."

Jake Thomas stared at Richard Nicholas: "How's that? If you're a man, make a bet with me, okay?"

Richard Nicholas was quiet.

Serena James pulled his sleeve: "Don't mind this kind of person."

Jake Thomas saw Richard Nicholas say nothing and became even more arrogant: "Haha, wouldn't you dare bet on a lie I exposed?"

Richard Nicholas shook his head: "No, I just felt because of such a small thing that cut your head off, making me a little hesitant."

"I despise you." Jake Thomas stood up: "Richard Nicholas, if you don't boast, will you die?

Ask you again, are you willing to bet?"

"Okay, let's make a bet."

Jake Thomas with a happy face, like he saw Richard Nicholas divorce, Serena James.

Richard Nicholas' cell phone rang again.

"The package's here. Give me a second."

Vivian Elizabeth and Serena James were all sweating seeing Richard Nicholas go out.

A basket of diamonds?

Let's not say that Richard Nicholas, even the jewelry stores around here, couldn't have taken out such a large amount of diamonds quickly.

If we lose the bet now, do we have to divorce?
