Choosing a light technique

Vather entered into the gigantic structure as he found himself in a hall filled with books that were floating in the air when suddenly his watch beeped.

"First year student has been identified.Place your hand on the crystal to have your bloodline scanned and to enable you find the technique inline with your bloodline quickly. You can only see the title of the technique and read the description,you can choose them by holding on to them for more than 5 seconds." a robotic voice echoed out in the hall.

Vather slowly placed his hands on the crystal in front of him.

Vather saw as the books in front of him slowly moved around him with speed before slowly coming to a halt.Looking at one of the book in front of him,he could see:

-Light sword art: divided into 3 levels, learning this technique increases the speed of your sword attacks 3 times faster than normal

-blindness inducement: compressing light element in the body that stuns enemies eyes making them blind for some time.At the peak,can immediately blow off the eyes of those at the late meridian forging.

-Solar manipulation:control all light from the sun around the user,which can be turned to blades used for attacking.

"You have 5 minutes left"the AI beeped.

Vather quickly browsed through many techniques that uses the light elements some that are useful for him while some are pretty useless to him.

light solidification, photo ionization, photonic defiance.

"Less than two minutes left"

Vather nodded satisfactorily as he finally choose a light battle techniques he was satisfied of:

-Lightling Manipulation: manipulate all the properties of light, including it's speed, density, sharpnessetc.The peak of the technique is different for every user as it is dependent on the bloodline layer of users.A greater bloodline layer leads to the better use of the techniques.

Even though that will cost him all his points,he was still very satisfied with the technique as it was made perfectly for him due to his high bloodline layer.

Even though he has the lightning element also,it will be better to familiarize himself well with his light bloodline and after gaining more points will get himself a lightning element battle technique. Vather held on tightly to the book,for some time before his watch beeped.

Vather happily walked out of the hall when suddenly his watch beeped:

'You have been asked for a meeting by the combat class teacher'.accept or reject.

'The combat class teacher? what could he possibly want from him.Is there a problem with Mason.'Vather thought to himself while clicking the accept button as he slowly made his way to the dojo like structure.

Arriving in the familiar hall,he found the combat teacher sitting on the futon his eyes closed,with another futon placed in front of him,.Vather slowly walked to the futon as he sat down in front of him.But there was no movement from the man as he remained there his eyes closed, his chest rising in a specific rhythm.Concentrating on how his chest rose and fell,Vather slowly closed his eyes as he tried to imitate the man's breathing.

Two breathing sound echoed in the hall as his breathing started moving behind the man's own.Two minutes later,a breathing sound could be heard in the hall.As two people,a man and a young man resonate their breathing.

Vather concentrated on his body while also trying to imitate the man's breathing when suddenly he could feel feel himself in his own body,he could perfectly 'see' how his own blood circulated in his own body,how his muscles slowly thrum with vitality,light particules revolving on them.He moved closer to his heart and felt he could perfectly control its beating.Slowly Activating light scales,his heart beat started increasing out of his control but he found himself able to stop it as is heartbeat slowly quited down, even though he was activating light scale.A golden coloured holographic image appeared'

A smile bloomed on Vather's face as he finally found out how to reduce his energy usage when suddenly he could feel his breathing suddenly spiraled out of his control as he lost track of the man's breathing imitation due to his happiness.He tried again but only failed again and again when suddenly he could feel an headache slowly creeping it's way in but Vather ignored it and tried even harder.

"That's enough" a voice spoke into the quiet hall,which sounded like a gong ringing in his ears as he was brought out of his attempt.

"What is that" Vather asked as he opened his eyes while staring at the man.

"It's the first step you must take to regulating the amount of energy in your body.If you master this to the peak,you will find yourself able to fight a thousand being at the same cultivation stage as you with very little amount of energy.Even using half of the energy that is normally supposed to be used to activate a technique will be possible.You will be able to all of that because you won't be be using the dimensional energy in you." the man said with a smile on his face.

"If am not using my own energy,then whose energy am I using" Vather asked doubt in his voice as everyone knew that cultivators can only use the dimensional energy stored in their bodies or cores to activate their techniques or strengthen their bodies but the man was telling him he won't need to use that.

"You will be using another type of energy, It's called Cosmic Force.It's this world's layer energy,from it is the dimensional energy you use which is only a part of the cosmic force itself".The man voiced out.

"Cosmic Force" Vather muttered to himself.

"I can teach you,if you want" the man said with a smile on his face.

"And why me, I'm sure there are thousands of people out there stronger and more talented than I am.It can't simply be because I defeated Mason,is it?".Vather voiced out,his line of thought was very simple.The cosmic force the man was saying was definitely a very rare type of energy,as the dimensional energy every one cultivates was only a part of it.There was no reason why the man should teach him something so valuable as he didn't really do anything that warrants such action.

"Of course it isn't, defeating Mason,a middle body tempering stage with the cultivation of peak body tempering stage is not worth mentioning if anything is nothing.The reason is because even though there are thousands of people out there with great talent and power,only maybe ten of them can grab cosmic force,In the ten,maybe only two can use twenty percent of its full power.And you just happen to be one of those ten and even part of the two."He said.

"And how did you know am part of the two" Vather voiced out a playful smirk on his face.

"Because of your eyes"

"My eyes?" Vather muttered his playful smirk slowly disappearing from his face.

"Yes your eyes,your left eyes to be precise,I sense a large amount of cosmic force from them although they seem to have been locked by something even I don't understand" The man voiced out with a doubting expression on his face.

Vather thought of his abnormal golden and blue eyes as he discovered that although his golden eyes seems to be from his abyssal bloodline and even seems to be pulsing with golden light after his awakening,but his blue eyes has always been the same, without any changes visible at all.Now when he heard of it containing cosmic force and even seems to be locked he has no idea what the reason might be.

"And what will I give you in return?" Vather voiced out as he knew almost no gift comes for free in this world.

"What will you give me,hmmm" the man voiced out a mysterious smile on his face.

"You will fulfill a single request of mine,if it is within your power,but you will be only able to do that if you can control not twenty but thirty percent of cosmic force,"He voiced out with a smile on his face.

"You said only two people out of thousands can grab even twenty percent of it,why will you think I can grab thirty".Vather said with a snort.

"Fool,there can be anomalies,like me who can grab twenty-five percent of it.I believe there will be someone who can grab thirty percent of it,but that person will have to be stronger than I am"the man voiced out disbelieve in his voice as if there can be none stronger than he is.

"Then how strong are you"Vather asked a slight smile on his face.

The question made the man slowly stood up his locked hands resting on his stomach.

"Shall we find out" he voiced out which made Vather also smile as he too slowly stood up from his seating position, battle lust radiating from him.
