Chapter 48 - Amazons

The next morning I kicked the guests out of my room, and sent them back to their repaired rooms. Relieved that nothing serious happened I took a shower really quick before going down to the kitchen to make breakfast. Seeing the girls off to class I went to see Nezu about what All Might likely told him over text.

---Nezu's Office---

Walking into the office I found that all the staff were present for this meeting. Taking a seat next to Eraserhead I waited for Nezu to speak first.

"Clark, All Might has informed me that you have made contact with another universe?", Nezu asked.

"That is partially correct, I have made contact with two universes.", I replied.

"You can go to other worlds!?", Present Mic said with a big grin.

"I can, there is a lot more to my Quirks than you realize.", I stated, "Now I presume All Might has informed you all of what is coming our way, right?"

The atmosphere darkened confirming they knew it.

"Superman-Prime has already reached Earth 10, Earth 9 is no longer in existence.", I said.

"I have to ask, what specifically set him off?", Nezu inquired.

"Superman-Prime is originally from a world where Heroes don't exist and neither do superhumans. A chance encounter with a Superman from another universe made his Kryptonian powers manifest, and he followed that Superman back to his universe. Unfortunately that choice severed his ability to find his home universe which is what he is looking for now.", I informed them, "He isn't someone you can reason with using just words, and he shares my powers potentially to a higher degree. Following him is a group called the Black Lantern Corps, it is completely made up of fallen people he killed and they would love nothing more than to see every world fall into the death and despair."

"So intelligent zombies from what All Might said.", Vlad King stated.

"Far worse than that, all of them have retained their powers and abilities.", I said, "Some of them would have no issue subduing All Might, and a few would give me trouble. Like zombies all they have to do is bite you to make you a Black Lantern. That is why I made the decision to reach out to other universes for help because I am not strong enough to stop them all alone."

"Are you able to show us what we are dealing with?", Thirteen asked.

Nodding my head I had the Viewing Monitor sent to me. Showing them the devastation Prime and his followers were causing the staff looked on in horror as Prime mercilessly slaughtered everyone that got in his way without a shred of remorse. Realizing the scope of the danger we were facing, I then switched the display to the Injustice Superman and his goons. Giving them the update on him as well I said both of them were likely to show up here because of Reverse Flash.

"I have been securing as many of the Otherworlders as I can, but-"

"It might be wise to meet them personally.", Nezu said to me, "Can you bring them here so we can talk?"

"I can arrange that, but keep the men on a leash.", I replied, "They may ogle a bit when they see them...especially Poison Ivy."

Giving me a questioning look I told them they would understand when they saw them. Half an hour later I brought them all to the school to meet the staff. Shifting uncomfortably in their seats all the men looked at me like I was insane.

'He lives under the same roof as all of these women...', they thought.

"Oh my...they...they certainly wear provocative clothing.", Nezu said clearing his throat.

"My eyes are up here mousie.", Selena said with a smirk, "If you don't stop staring this cat will whip out the claws."

'Oh shit!', Present Mic thought.

"Sorry...so...Clark was telling us that most of you were from a place called the Injustice Universe?", Nezu said.

Nodding their heads the staff asked them questions about the world to figure out how serious it was. Giving first hand accounts as to the lengths he was willing to go to maintain order Nezu understood that his arrival here would be a major issue.

"Bizarro autograph want!!", Bizarro said giving All Might a pen and paper.

"Clark, what does he want?", All Might asked.

"He wants your autograph, he has been watching a lot of Hero Tube lately.", I replied.

"A Rising Hero!", All Might said with a beaming smile, "Absolutely, let me give you an autograph!"

'If only he knew...', those of us that knew Bizarro thought.

Asking if they wanted better living accommodations the women replied they were fine staying at my house.

"Now Clark...you aren't doing anything inappropriate with them are you?", Nezu asked.

Grabbing Kara's hand I said we were dating, but I wasn't doing anything with the others. Of course this didn't sit well with Maxima who quickly said I needed to sire children with her, same with Blackfire. Selena threw her hat into the ring just to harass me, and that made the men in the room look at me like I was a lucky bastard.

'If you knew how these women lived you wouldn't think that! They leave their clothing all over their rooms, act like shut-ins, and do nothing but harass me! Sure they are beautiful, but I am not laying a finger on them...well maybe a few down the line.', I thought.

"Please don't do anything drastic.", Nezu said with a sigh.

"I won't...", I replied.

---Wayne Manor---

Returning home afterwards the majority of them returned to their rooms to relax. Raven, Wonder Girl, Kara, Maxima, and Blackfire stayed with me as they wanted to know what I was doing next. Informing them of the metals I needed to gather I asked if they could assist me. Nodding their heads they accepted my request for help. Changing from casual clothing to their combat gear, we headed out to the most difficult place to access first...Themyscira.

---Earth 22, Off the Coast of Themyscira---

Having Wonder Girl and Kara go in first to explain our visit, things didn't quite go as planned. Instead of listening to them the Amazons overreacted a bit, and went right into a head on fight with them. Flying over to assist the women left me sitting on a rocky outcropping on the edge of the barrier. Watching them fight the Amazons I watched the Amazons pull out their weapons to engage all of them. Knowing that Kara had no resistance like me I flew in to put a stop to this. Slamming into the beach with a sonic boom the Amazons went flying backwards on to the beach.

"You didn't have to step in, we could have fought them.", Wonder Girl and Blackfire said.

"Unlike Wonder Girl and Raven the rest of us don't have magic resistance.", I replied, "Now then, while you are all in a better listening mood we came to ask for a favor. I am sure Diana already told you about the impending invasion of Prime, yes?"

"You aren't Prime?", the Amazons asked.

"If I was Prime wouldn't I have killed you?", I replied.

Looking at me like I was a jackass I frankly didn't care. Kara and Wonder Girl came to them with their hands up, and they still attacked them. I could sense that they wanted to keep going, but Wonder Woman arrived to snuff that out. Asking what the surprise visit was for, I explained what I was looking for.

"You are looking for Amazonium?", she asked, "You would want to speak with Hephaestus."

"How would I reach him?", I replied.

"Come with me, and I will show you.", Wonder Woman stated.

Following her to a chamber in the Temple of Gods, she showed me a door that would take us there. Reminding me that the Gods would likely demand something in return for the material, I thanked her before we went in, or rather the massive door opened for us. Taking it as a sign that we were welcomed we went in to see what was going on.

---New Olympus---

New Olympus was too over the top for my taste, and it was clear they liked the luxury they had here. Everything was need and tidy without a thing out of place which was nice, but it was far too much precious metal every where. Rooves made of gold, streets paved with silver, and toilets made of platinum...everything was far to extravagant for my tastes. Keeping me far away from the female goddesses in New Olympus we ended up at Hephaestus' workshop where I sat down to talk with him.

Explaining things to him, and what I was intending to make he nodded his head. Telling me that he could offer a stronger metal than Amazonium I asked what it was. Pulling out Olympium I immediately remembered that it was a metal said to be stronger than Amazonium, but it was also known as Eight Metal to more knowledgeable people.

"Where did you get this?", I asked.

"I can't reveal my sources.", he chuckled.

Giving me the amount I needed I asked why he was helping to readily after all he never gave the Amazons this metal, and they worshiped the Gods.

"You are someone that needs our support if we are to weather the coming storm.", he replied.

"Cryptic...I assume you aren't going to elaborate are you.", I sighed.

"Haha seems like you know us better than most, almost like you had an outside view.", Hephaestus chuckled.

'Do they know about my reincarnation!?', I thought.

"All I can say is that when all hope seems gone, look for the light.", he said, "You know where you must go no matter the trial you face."

Thinking about about it for a moment, I realized he was nudging me to go to the Source Wall. Each world had it's own Source Wall, but if I were to go to one it would have been the one on New Earth. Thanking him for his assistance he told me to stop, and presented armor to the women. Made of Amazonium he made sure they fit the women properly before handing me equipment for my other girlfriends, including a small suit for Eri.

"You made all of this?", Kara asked looking at the suit she was given, "Why go so far?"

"You will understand when the time comes.", Hephaestus said, "The lot of you are key in the survival of our worlds."

Looking at him with confusion the women thanked him, and we promptly left the workshop. After we had left the dimension Zeus appeared next him.

"They took the equipment?", Zeus asked.

"Yes.", Hephaestus replied.

"Good, our survival hinges on that young man.", Zeus said, "How goes preparing equipment for our army?"

"We are ninety percent complete.", Hephaestus stated motioning to the store room.

"Good, we need to be ready to fight at moments notice.", Zeus said with a grateful smile.

---Fortress of Solitude---

Sending drones to the Marvel worlds via Subspace to collect Adamantium, Uru, and Vibranium I wanted to leave as little trace of my interference as possible. As for Volatile Promethium and Tenth Metal those substances would be found on the destroyed Earth 1 universe which I wanted to go to alone. Not wanting the women to see the carnage left in Prime's wake I almost managed to slip away, but Kara and Raven stopped me.

"You aren't taking us?", they asked.

"Kind of thought you might not want to go given-"

"We are going.", the women said.

---Ruins of Earth 1---

I made an attempt to persuade them out of going, but they wouldn't listen. Taking the women with me, we arrived on the desolate world devoid of any life. The silence was pained my heart as Prime and the Black Lanterns left no one alive...not even a child was spared their fury.

'These poor souls...', I thought looking at the ruins of a once thriving world.

Going to the Dayton Industries to retrieve the information on how to make Volatile Promethium, I got to work getting into the systems. While I was working on getting the data Kara looked on at the destruction, and felt a a pang of pain in her heart. The scene around her was exactly like the world she belonged too. Recalling the utter defeat everyone she cared about experienced she retreated to sit by me.

"You going to be okay?", I asked softly.

Wrapping my arms around her, she started to cry as the memories of watching her life come crumbling down came back to the front of her mind. Letting her cry I held her tightly so she knew that I wouldn't ever let her go. Looking in at us the other women couldn't imagine the loss Kara felt having watched two universes be destroyed. Even Blackfire felt a bit of pity for her as this was even too much for her to ever do, and she had done a lot of killing.

"You are sure we can't find a safe place to hide our world?", Kara asked me.

"Kara, you know as well as I do that I can't do that.", I replied, "With the power Prime has backing him I have to help them fight. I have a responsibility to help if I can Kara it's my duty to help put an end to this blight, no matter the cost."

"No!", she said glaring at me, "Not what ever the cost may be! I watched my cousin get torn to bits, and the people I loved be torn apart by him!! I refuse to watch the same happen to you!! You don't get to trick me into a relationship, and then sacrifice yourself for the greater good!!"

"He tricked you?", Maxima chuckled, "More like you tricked him."

"Shut up...it's his fault.", Kara replied, "I don't want to watch the man I want to be with die. You have to promise me that no matter what you will prioritize your life if it becomes too much."

"I will do what I can.", I said unable to promise that.

Wiping her tears away, I then pulled the flash drive out of the system so we could go. Before leaving Earth 1, I suggested we go to the Fortress of Solitude here to take what technology we could home.

---Fortress of Solitude Earth 1---

Pushing the giant doors of Supermanium open, we found the inside of the fortress completely untouched. Walking into the fortress together, Kelex immediately awoke as he detected Kara and I.

"Kal-El!!", Kelex said, "I haven't been able to reach for some time now, I have detected several-"

"Kelex...I am sorry to tell you this, but I am a Superman of another universe. Your Superman fell in battle sometime ago.", I informed him, "I...I am sorry to tell you that."

The AI didn't reply to me immediately as it took a second for it understand that.

"Last Son of Krypton, I have been programmed you to assist you to the best of my ability.", Kelex replied.

"...thank you Kelex.", I responded, "Please prepare the Fortress to be be moved to my universe."

"Affirmative.", Kelex acknowledged.

In a few minutes the base had compressed itself into a single crystal, and few into my hand. It felt like stealing, but the Superman of this world was dead and I needed every advantage I could get. With the technology in the fortress I would be able to take the suit I am building to a much higher level.

"Let's go home.", I replied.

---Fortress of Solitude, MHA Universe---

Having my Kelex integrate the Earth 1 Kelex within himself, I had the fortresses merge into a single large entity. Allowing them time to merge their databases, I asked that they give me an update when they were done.

"The fortress looks a lot like the one I know.", Kara said.

Pulling her into my arms, I looked around at all the various specimen that Kal-El kept in his zoo. He had a wide array of rare animals from across the cosmos that I would never consider releasing into the wilds of my universe. Offering to walk around the habitats with her, Kara accepted the offer holding my right hand tightly. Walking the grassy fields that replicated Ancient Earth, Kara admired the animals and plants as I enjoyed the feeling of peace that existed here. After some time walking in silence I pulled Kara to me, and gave her a kiss. Smiling at me she kissed me back with a playful giggle.

"I was starting to wonder when you would actually treat me like your girlfriend. You have been telling people we were a couple without asking for my opinion.", she teased.

"You never denied it.", I retorted, "Almost like you were fine with it."

"Maybe...maybe not.", she replied sticking her tongue out.

"So...", I said holding her hand, "Can Intake your answer as a yes?"

"Hmm...that depends, you promise you will always be with me?", she asked, "Since you say we are immortal, I wouldn't want to part ways with you in a few hundred. You are stuck with me for life."

"More like you are stuck with me on this crazy ride.", I chuckled running my hand down her back, "How about I give you the attention you wanted a few days ago, when you barged into my room with Blackfire and Maxima."

"Don't remind me of that!", she laughed pushing me playfully, "I didn't want to interrupt you, they did."

"I know, but you could have joined if you wanted.", I replied while kissing her, "For now though that be placed on the wayside. Right now it's only you and I here since I sent them home. How about you and I break the bed in? No one had used it yet, and I can't think of another person I would rather make love to right now."

"Well...", she said pressing her chest against me, "If you want to I would be happy too. You have no idea how frustrating it was listening to you making love to others while I was sitting there in Maxima's room."

"Looks like you joined the group.", Itsuka teased.

"Did you already-", Toga started to ask.

"We did, and it was amazing.", Kara said holding my hand, "I look forward to being sisters with all of you."

"Can you cook?" Ochaco asked.

"A bit, why do you ask?", Kara questioned.

"You are already in better standing than some of us.", Momo laughed.

"I resent that statement!", Mina shouted.

"Well it's not a lie.", Ochaco stated, "You assisted in making the kitchen into a mess."

"Well if our teachers were better maybe it wouldn't have happened.", Mina jabbed.

"I can show you how to use a knife right now.", Toga snickered.

"No no, I don't need that lesson!", Mina said hiding behind me.

"Haha!", the girls laughed at her reaction.

"If you girls want to know how to cook I will show you.", I stated.

"You would?", Toru asked.

"Of course, I was thinking of making something special since Kara has joined the group.", I replied.

"Nice!", Nejire and Mina said.

Getting the women into aprons I pulled out several steaks for us to eat. Getting salt and pepper out to season the steaks I also got garlic cloves and some butter. Showing how I seasoned my steak I had the women do the same with theirs. Once they were seasoned I vacuumed sealed them with the garlic cloves and butter, then put them in a tub of water with a Sous Vide. Setting the temperature to 130, I left the unit to cook the steaks for an hour and half.

"So what does this thing do?", Dorothy asked, "I haven't seen anything like this before."

"It's called a Sous Vide, it's a product I plan to bring to market.", I replied, "It almost perfectly guarantees that we will have perfectly cooked steaks."

"Oh!!", the women gasped, "How does it work?"

"It heats the water to the exact temperature you set, and keeps it there while the steaks cook in the water. We season it beforehand because the juice will come out of the steaks then get sucked back in because they are vacuumed seals. All that buttery goodness and garlic flavoring gets sucked in as well.", I replied.

"You are starting to make me really hungry...", Melissa admitted.

"Now on to the sides.", I said pulling out some potatoes, "We are going to make Cowboy Surprise and baked potatoes. Both are very easy to make, and will make your taste buds explode."

"I want to help!", Eri said not satisfied with just seasoning her fillet.

"Of course.", I replied getting her up on a stool so she could help.

Pulling out carrots, onions, garlic, baby corn, and zucchini I showed the women how I wanted the ingredients cut. Showing Eri how I wanted her to cut with a knife, I introduced to the kitty paw technique. Demonstrating it to her, Eri mimicked it and started cutting her portion with a safety knife. Seeing the technique as well Momo and Mina looked over at Rumi, Nemuri, and Yu like they had betrayed them.

"What?", Rumi asked.

"Why didn't you show us that technique?", Mina asked puffing her cheeks.

"I didn't even know it was a thing!", Nemuri disputed.

"Some teacher you are.", Momo replied.

"I can make you fail my class.", Nemuri jabbed.

"Hey!!", they replied, "You can't do that!!"

"You'd have to prove that it was my fault, and not something you did.", Nemuri teased.

Once everyone was done chopping I added the ingredients into a large, tin foil pie try along with a stick of butter and several seasonings. Covering them up with tin foil I set them aside for now so I could put it on the grill later. Showing the women how to prep baked potatoes next, this was probably the easiest thing to cook for them. Turning on the oven for the baked potatoes, I timed it so they would be ready when the steaks would be done.

Relaxing till the steaks were almost done I then got the grill going so I could start cooking the Cowboy Surprise. Throwing the steaks on the grill once the timer went off I got a nice sear on them, then put them under tin foil for ten minutes to let the steaks finish to perfections. Setting the table while I finished the Cowboy Surprise we all took a seat once everything was ready. Plating their steaks and potatoes, the women watched me remove the lid to the Cowboy Surprise. As soon as the smell hit their noses several of them started to drool.

"You...you think there is going to be enough?", Rumi asked with a gulp.

"I don't know...I think we may need to fight for it...", Ochaco said with a gulp.

Giving them all equal portions the women started to eat. Taking a bite of the Cowboy Surprise, the women moaned with sheer delight at the buttery goodness that greeted their taste buds. Sampling the steak and potatoes next the girls sighed with satisfaction.

"You are going to make a killing...", Kara laughed, "This is the most delicious meal I have ever eaten, and I have sampled a lot of food."

"Agreed, is steaks the only thing you can cook like this?", Itsuka asked.

"Haha, there a lot of things that you can make with the Sous Vide. I made cheesecake in it the other night, and I thought we might-"

"Did someone say cheesecake?", Wonder Girl and Raven asked poking their heads in, "What are you guys eating? It smells delicious."

Poking their heads in as well, the other women were also curious what we were eating. Seeing the food on the plates all of them looked at me like I had committed an unspeakable crime.

"Hey I am dating these women so I am pampering them, get off my case.", I snapped.

"Even the little one?", Harley questioned.

"She is my little sister, it's my job to spoil her. Anyone thinking they can date her without my blessing is going to pay dearly.", I retorted, "I will break the one who thinks they can court her."

Looking at me from her seat Eri puffed her cheeks in annoyance. Turning to look at her she quickly turned her head, and called me a dummy.

"Eri!?", I shrieked, "Did I say something wrong!? I am just concerned some rotten, good for nothing idiot will break your heart!! I won't let anyone hurt you!!"

"You big dummy!", Eri pouted.

Confused as to why she was upset, I immediately assumed she already had someone she liked. Picking up my phone I told Kelex to find the son of a bitch, and watch him for an suspicious activity. I wanted to the moment the little brat tried something so I could put the fear of god in him. Eri would be a nun, and I wouldn't let any man take her pure, innocent smile away.

"You may be really smart, but you are an idiot sometimes too.", the women sighed.

"What?", I asked, "Do I know the guy...wait, did he go to her sleepover!? Shit I didn't think about that!!"

"Clark, just calm down.", Yu sighed, "Just put it aside for now, and eat your dinner. The Sabertooth Tiger is eyeing your food."

Glaring at the cat I made it clear if it tried it I would turn it into a rug. Leaving at surveillance for now, I wanted to find out who she liked.
