You are testing my patience

As the intense battle unfolded, Jagnar's strength and agility became even more apparent. Susan couldn't help but feel conflicted as she listened to his words, sensing a genuine connection between them. However, she knew she had to prioritize the safety of her team and find a way to diffuse the situation.

Susan, caught between her duty and her connection with Jagnar, momentarily hesitated. His words resonated with her.

Jagnar stared at Susan, he could see her hesitation. He said, "Susan, I don't mean any harm to any of your team members. But if you come at me and try to put me in a cage, then I am not responsible for what will happen afterwards."

Jhonny then suddenly turned into a fire and shot a sphere of fire towards Jagnar.

Momentarily, he was pushed back by the sudden burst of flames. But his skin remained harmless and everyone was shocked.

"Now, you are testing my limits," Jagnar said, his voice turned grim and menacing.

However, Jagnar's attention quickly shifted back to the immediate danger. Sensing Johnny's fiery assault, he swiftly caught his leg mid-air, exhibiting both precision and restraint. He delivered a calculated strike to Johnny's chest, ensuring that it was forceful enough and it did.

Jhonny crashed into the wall and he didn't stop with one as he pushed through two more and finally landed on a bed.

Reed, witnessing the unusual interaction between Susan and Jagnar, halted his attack, his mind racing to comprehend the situation unfolding before him. Confusion and concern intertwined as he struggled to reconcile Susan's involvement in the middle of the fight and her connection with this enigmatic, seemingly unstoppable young individual.

Jagnar stood amidst the chaos, his words cutting through the tension in the room. Susan, still caught off guard by his unexpected admission, hesitated for a moment.

Reed, momentarily frozen in disbelief, regained his composure and stepped forward. He approached Susan and Jagnar cautiously, his analytical mind racing to find a solution to the situation. He knew they needed to de-escalate the conflict before it spiralled further out of control.

"Jagnar," Reed began, his voice calm but authoritative, "we need to find a way to address your concerns and the situation you're facing. But resorting to violence won't lead us to a resolution."

Susan, still processing the unexpected turn of events, stepped forward, her eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and compassion. "Jagnar," she said.

Jagnar looked at her, and he let out another sigh. He looked at the place where Dr.Doom was lying, but he wasn't there. He seemed to have disappeared.

"See, I told you that I should have killed him," Jagnar said, anger welling up in him again.

Susan approached him and said, "Hey, you shouldn't talk like that. And even if he is an evil man, we cannot kill him."

"Why? Why give him another chance to cause problems? He wouldn't have stopped if I were weaker than him." Jagnar said as he walked off to the balcony and flew off.

He was still in his shorts and had no shirt.

All of them got up and gathered.

Reed said, "He seems to be very powerful, unlike any other we've seen until now."

"Yeah, you can say that again, way too strong even for me. Next time, take me out of it, in case you fight him," Jhonny chimed, his voice coarse. He talked while rubbing his chest. For a moment, he felt like he couldn't breathe.

"We shouldn't recklessly fight him," Ben said.

Susan was quiet. She was staring at Jagnar's back.

All of them were so immersed in fighting that they forgot about Susan, the shirt she was wearing, or their conversation.

Reed asked her finally, "Sue, what's going on?"

Susan sat on the bed, thinking over it.

Susan's mind swirled with conflicting thoughts and emotions as she contemplated the path before her.

She was weary of the incessant battles, the constant struggles, and the never-ending pursuit of scientific advancements that seemed to consume Reed's every waking moment. The weight of her frustrations bore down upon her, urging her to break free from the confines of that familiar yet suffocating world.

Inhaling deeply, Susan finally found her voice, her words brimming with a blend of trepidation and hope. "Are you sure about this?" she questioned, her gaze searching his face for any hint of hesitation. "Because I'm truly tired, tired of the endless pursuits and the relentless experiments. All I desire is someone who can love me wholeheartedly and be there when I need them the most."

Reed, his expression marked by a mixture of resignation and remorse, averted his eyes and silently retreated from their presence. Ben, ever loyal, cast one last empathetic look before following Reed's sombre footsteps. It was a poignant moment, a bittersweet realization that not all journeys can be taken together.

Suddenly, Jagnar materialized before Susan, his form enveloping her in a warm embrace. The embrace carried the weight of unspoken promises and the hope of a new beginning. He spoke, his voice laced with unwavering certainty, "You won't regret this."

And with those words, he gracefully took flight, holding her with his arms around her waist, both disappearing into the vast expanse of the sky beyond the balcony.

Jhonny, who had witnessed the unfolding scene in awe, couldn't help but utter a phrase that encapsulated the extraordinary nature of the moment. "Damn, that kid is fast," he mused, an admiring smile gracing his lips. "he just flew off with my sister," he said looking at Reed.

"Jagnar, you do realize that we are not properly clothed," she yelled, feeling the strong breeze on her face.
