Chapter 1627: Trouble Still Remains

Having returned to the County Town, it was very late when Peter Brown washed up and lay down on his bed.

Peter hadn't been too concerned about the Examination initially, as he was confident in his answers; the questions were not difficult for someone well-read like him.

Upon thinking about it more, there indeed were quite a few questions that went beyond the provided material and were challenging, but even then, they didn't stump Peter.

Now, there was a lingering concern in his mind, and that was the issue with Rylan Williams.

Although he was currently peacefully coexisting with Carter Clan's people, Peter was very clear that if there was any mishap and Rylan really got the upper hand over him, he would face extremely perilous situations.
