“So we got the approval of the principal. What are you going to do Chicken? Cluck?” Freddy asked, mocking him as they stood upon the stage. Lionel puffed up his chest, pointing his finger at Freddy and pronounced proudly. “I'm going to challenge you to a duel. Whoever wins gets to be all popular, and the loser gets to look upon the winner and do whatever they say.” Lionel replied confidently. He was so sure he had this one in the bag. “ I accept. How about I make this easy for you? If you can take my hood off, I will pronounce you as the winner.” Freddy said. Lionel chuckled. He couldn't believe this newbie. Then he realized. wait a minute. He is mocking me. Lionel growled. “Stop mocking me. If you want to be so stupid as to give up that easily, then don't even bother challenging me. It's a waste of time.” He told Freddy
“I didn't challenge you. You challenged me and the offer still stands as long as you want to stand here and talk about fighting.” Freddy mocked Lionel, chuckling a bit. ”Fine! Then we won't talk!” Lionel hissed at Freddy As he raced forward, taking a swipe at his hood. Freddy dodged and made a sweeping motion with his foot at Lionel's legs, While Lionel was standing. Lionel was clearly not as fast as Freddy and seemed to be losing already. Lionel fell pitifully to the side, Freddy and a bell rang. The two both looked over shopped by this and saw two girls holding up signs with the number 0 and 1. Indicating that Freddy had won, but Lionel had lost the first round.
As Lionel got up, A speaker turned on. Principal G Became. flustered, his face turned red, and his words came out fast, followed by huge Puffs of air. “What is this? Why is the fight over? one round that can't be right. Let's make it three. Whoever wins at the end of the third round shall be declared the victor.” Principal G said. Lionel looked up at the dome in disbelief. He had to fight him again? Why couldn't this fight be over already? I mean, he already lost. And he has to lose two more times. The speaker came on again. And the principal's voice was heard. “Now. now.. Lionel, you don't want all your enormous fans to see you as a Wimp now would you? Backing out on the first try. Oh, pitiful Disgraceful.” The principal said to Lionel, who was looking at him.
Lionel looked down and mumbled. “No, sir.” He said the principal looked content. “Good. Now, if you wouldn't mind, I personally would like to see an end to this fight.” The principal said, and the microphone cut out. Signaling that they should begin again. “If you want Lionel, we can cut this down to say two.” Freddy suggested. smirking at Lionel. “Maybe he won't be bored by how one sided it will be.” Freddy chuckled at him. Clearly mocking Lionel. Lionel puffed out his chest proudly. “I am glad you finally realized that you won't win.” He said to Freddy.
Ding. The sound of the bell was heard as the fight began again. Freddy turned to Lionel. A new ambition was seen in his eyes. His voice came out differently than before. It was as if Freddy was another person. his voice was deep, his eyes grew cold, and his stance more deadly. The sudden change in Freddy made him take a few steps backwards in fear. He didn't wanna fight whatever side was of Freddy. “You ready?” Freddy asked. A spine tingling chill passed through Lionel. What happened to him? This wasn't the same person that he fought earlier. This time he was more bloodthirsty.
Freddy watched Lionel back away. A wicked smile appeared on his face. “What's wrong, Lionel? You don't want to fight me anymore? This whole fight was your idea, you know, and you're backing down?” Freddy. asked. Taunting him clearly in front of everyone. He knew he was taunting him, but he looked like he was about to kill him. That wasn't part of the deal. Lionel cleared his throat. “I forfeit.” He said, causing a crowd to gasp With shock. Nobody expected this. The Popular Guy forfeiting the match with the newbie? Was there something that they were missing? Freddy frowned in disapproval at Lionel. His displeasure clearly showed on his face. Fortunately, he wasn't the only one displeased with his outcome. Principal G was furious with his face red in embarrassment and anger. He stomped out from The glass dome tower view and to the stage, he stood with his arms crossed and his feet wide at its best towering stance. Given his short stature.
“You know what This means, don't you?” Principal G, Lionel with one eyebrow raised for emphasis. Lionel shrunk at his. Glare. “I lost.” Lionel admitted. mumbling. “Yes... And.?” G prompted him to continue. Lionel was clueless he stared blankly at the Principal. “Umm…” Lionel let out a long slow breath, looking around for clues as to the answer. Principal G rolled his eyes. How did he even make it this far? He wondered, “ it means that, not only do you lose, you are now bound to Freddy, your agreement stated that you will do anything he asks.. And I hope what he asks stays within guidelines..?” Principal G said, raising a questioning eyebrow at Freddy. Freddy raised his hands up innocently and Lionel stiffened at the understanding of what the principal Told him. Realization had finally dawned upon Lionel. Freddy could order him to clean toilets or to sleep outside in the rain and cold.
Then Freddy noticed a girl apart from the crowd of girls surrounding him. She was sitting on the edge of the school fountain with another girl next to her. At that same instant, so did Lionel. One girl had curly light brown hair. Blue Hazel eyes, sat perfectly straight with her legs crossed, one over the other. She had a book in her hands. Brown and black leopard glasses a long sleeved shirt with a leather jacket that only went to her belly button with no sleeves. She had flat black boots that went Halfway up her thigh. And from the top of her head hung a gold chain with a heart. She had a small silver bracelet on her left hand. The girl next to her had straight, long blonde hair with punk rock shirt and high top tennis shoes. She had multiple earrings, and multiple bracelets. No necklace. And her choice of clothing style was very. Black and white.
Who is that? Freddy wondered. He had his eyes on the one reading the book. It was simple. She was simple. She was perfect. The two. boys looked at each other. “ I'll tell you what. I won't fight you for her as long as you let me go first.” Freddy said to Lionel with a smile. “deal.“ Lionel agreed.
