"Dahlia," Bradon called my name again as he came closer.
I knew that he was waiting for me to respond to him, but my mind was still struggling to process the fact that there was a very high chance that my sister was now back in the city, and I didn't know how to break the news to him. It was a very strange feeling not to know what I was feeling exactly at that moment as various emotions grappled for supremacy within my chest.
"My sister is back," I said in a low murmur as I felt my brows draw together in a frown. I couldn't find the right words, so I ended up spitting out the first words that came to mind.
"Diana is back?" Bradon said, and I could hear the surprise in his voice. I couldn't help but wonder what he thought or felt about the fact that my sister had returned.
"Did you know about this?" I asked as I stared at his face.
