The Young Madam Is Missing

In the meeting room of Gu Corporation.

"Everyone is here. Let's begin."

The marketing planner was reporting the quarterly summary with his slides projected on the wall behind him. But Young Master Gu's gaze on him only made him more flustered and fearful. Fortunately, Young Master Gu did not say anything.

After a year away, Young Master Gu's body had become even stronger. The planner even felt a little suffocated just by looking at him.

Gu Liao looked at the only person left in the meeting room. "Grandfather."

"Yes, I've met Xie Ru. She made a good impression, but remember, none of the daughters-in-law of the Gu family are sound."

Gu Liao nodded. After pondering for a moment, he strode out of the meeting room.

"Young Master Gu, Xie Wutong is outside the office. She wants to see you."

"No."

Someone would report to him about what happened in Gu Corporation every day. As such, Xie Wutong's frequent appearance at the building would have been reported to him already. This woman's thoughts were written all over her face, making him feel even more disgusted.

"Young Master Gu, Xie Wutong said that Young Madam is missing."

"What?" Gu Liao suddenly jumped up from his seat. "Let her in."

This was Xie Wutong's first time stepping into this place, and her heart felt like it was pounding wildly. The Gu Corporation's building was indeed much more magnanimous than the Xie Corporation's. Once she became the young madam of the Gu family, this place would be in hers.

Those young ladies of the capital would die of envy. Xie Wutong sneered at that thought and tidied up her dress. This was the most beautiful dress she had found in Xie Ru's wardrobe. It would be a waste for Xie Ru to wear it.

With the dress on her as well as that medication, seducing Gu Liao would be easier.

"You said Xie Ru disappeared? What's going on?"

Gu Liao looked coldly at Xie Wutong. This woman dared to wear Xie Ru's clothes. Just how did Aunt Chen handle things? Xie Ru couldn't even see with one eye. Could it be that Aunt Chen was the same?

The smell of the woman's body assaulted Gu Liao's senses. But it only made Gu Liao more disgusted. She smelled completely different from the refreshing scent of Xie Ru's body. He pushed the woman away and wiped his hands in annoyance as if they had just touched trash.

"Xie Wutong."
