A Welcome, A Snake and A Revelation (6)

After months of living together on weekends it had become easier to hold back our sexual desires because we both had a respect for one another, as well as an end goal. I didn't want to make things hard for him and he in turn didn't want to push me into a situation where either of us were uncomfortable so that I would give in to him. It's like we were on the same page. If either of us were uncomfortable we would separate ourselves until the moment passed.

I was excited to meet Michael's dad. I only wished I could go with him to the airport. After school I practically ran home. I ran upstairs, threw my bookbag down, rushed in the shower and got dressed faster than ever. I went to the office to find my parents. Dad was hovering over the desk as usual, mom on the sofa with her feet up, and no one was worried about the dinner guest we were expecting within the hour.

My mom looked up as I blew in like a storm, her cute baby bump was bigger than ever. She would pop at any time. Her due date was a month away but her belly looked so uncomfortable. I kneel down in front of her and kiss my sibling. "Lil' sis please forgive me for disturbing you. I wish you would be out for my wedding. I understand you are all cozy and warm inside of there. I just want to share you.", I use my cutest little voice.

"Daddy when will you ever move away from that desk?", I look with concern at him. "Princess you know that I play a huge role in the safety of the wolves of North America. I must be on my best at all times. If I drop the ball it could mean innocent lives lost.", he spoke with such strength.

Meanwhile Michael was greeting his father at the airport, "Pa (Father)". Leopold looked up to see his son, "Dit is goed om jou weer te sien seun (it's good to see you again son)". Three years had changed very little between the father and son duo. They embraced for a long hug. "Ek is so trots op jou (I'm so proud of you)", Leo had tears forming in his eyes. When you only have one parent raise you it makes it that more intense when you have to spend time apart, so both men were very emotional. When Michael heard his father speaking Afrikaans it was like his heart was sore from missing his own country. Finding Bri his mate was the only comfort he had. For years he had been alone and now he was happy again. His heart was full.

The drive to the Evan's Pack house Michael used to explain how he has been experimenting with snakes. How he wanted to find out what else he could do like a snake. He told his father how he found that he could communicate with snakes as a child but now he could also use the mind reading on people as well. Snakes taught him how to move even better than a normal wolf. They showed him how to neutralize the venom and eat the poisonous snakes. The snakes are only needed to be called on and they would rally to his side to fight with him. He had also learned that he too could use venom to fight. It was deadly. His fangs only came out with his snake. Wolffangs had never been seen before and Michael had never brought out his snake.

When his wolf was in control the snake would enhance his abilities making him more powerful than any Alpha or King. He explained how only Subrina knew about this because he felt like it needed to be withheld to keep her safe. His father agreed. Michael looked at his dad with surprise. He never expected him to understand. It was like everything between them had become crystal clear.

"Pa (Father)? You knew? You knew about my dealings with snakes? How long? How long have you known?", it was huge that my dad had known.

"Yes I knew, well partially. I knew your mother Juliet was a Lady in the Royal Court of the Mambas. When you were born, for your safety as well as mine, I was sworn to secrecy. You had to come into this on your own, the Moon Goddess was insistent. She made it a law all Hybrids would have to come into their power on their own.", my dad was very stoic.

Pulling into the drive I was thinking about the conversation and decided that I would tell Bri we needed to keep it all secret for the safety of our pups. I hoped that she would want a pup every two years. As an Alpha I would understand if my mate was not wanting more than one. It was a conversation that we would need to have sooner than later.

After everyone had been introduced it was like one big family. We all went in different directions until dinner. Bri took my hand in hers and pulled me in for a very passionate kiss. When our lips separated we both were panting. The desire for both of us was close to out of control.

"I talked with my father and he knew. He said the same that you have suggested. We should keep it all secret to protect our children from harm in the future. I will be a strong Luno for you Bri. I will be more powerful than most in our kingdom. I don't want jealousy to run away with the hearts of others. We will be different from most rulers. I will stand by you and protect you while you lead. People won't expect me to be the power behind you my love.", I revealed my plan to Bri.

"Michael I trust you with my life. I know that you will rule beside me and we will have the best pack ever. As we grow our family at times you will take the lead. I feel very comfortable in this.", I kiss him softly before we go to the dining room to celebrate our engagement as a family.

As I sit down I can't help but think about how much I love the people in the room. The Omegas were serving us but in my eyes they are extremely important to our pack. I had made it clear how I see us as equal. I rule with authority when needed but fair to all subjects. The mating ceremony was only a few days away. Every one was working hard to make it the best event of the year.

Listening to news from South Africa kept everyone engaged with the dinner conversation. After dinner the men retired to the office. Mom went to her room. I put my siblings to bed and retired to my room. I showered, braided my hair and fell asleep in my bed. Some time after I fell asleep Michael joined me in bed. I felt his safe embrace, I smelled his one of a kind fragrance and I felt his manwood press against my buttocks. I smiled before drifting back to sleep.
