After stepping outside, she took a deep breath and got into the car.
She returned home in disappointment only to see a man standing at her doorstep. Susan Davis paused for a moment; why did he look so familiar?
"Harry Harrell?" Susan muttered to herself.
Naturally, the man heard her and instinctively turned his head. It was indeed Harry Harrell upon a closer look.
Susan was somewhat stunned, but she still approached him. This man was not simple; why would he come to her door today? With a puzzled expression, she slowly moved closer to Harry Harrell.
"Miss Davis," Harry Harrell said with a slight smile, reaching out his hand as a gesture of politeness.
Susan naturally shook his hand politely.
Harry Harrell smiled and said, "I know you've been troubled recently, Miss Davis, haven't you? But what if you could see value in collaborating with me? That could work."
"You... What do you mean by that?" Susan quickly asked after a moment's hesitation.
