Food?

The sound of rustling brings both of us back to reality, God, that was stupid.

We are starving, slowly dying from the intense heat and all we could think of doing was kiss each other?

Yes...that's it the heat must be messing with our minds.

Trinity's face was extremely red as I looked toward the rustling sound, my body seemed to forego any tiredness at this moment as my eyes started glowing at what I saw

Food!

I see a deer that looks like the most succulent and juicy hamburger in my life, my mouth salivates as I slowly shake my head, God, there it goes again, the deer is still alive and raw and I'm ready to take a bite, maybe we are going crazy.

I turn to Trinity, who was still cutely blushing trying to come to terms of what just happened, I beckoned over to her bringing her out of her thoughts.

She questionably looked at me, she must have been too occupied to notice the deer as I pointed toward its direction to show her.

Trinity's mouth opened wide like she was going to gasp but I covered it just in time as I put my hand over her mouth.

She looked at me even more embarrassed, I put a finger to my lips to tell her to be quiet, we definitely can't have our meal run away, this was the only living thing we've found today ever since we woke up.

I looked around me trying to find something to kill the deer with, maybe I can throw a rock at it, dazing it then tackling it with all my strength? I don't know how good of a plan that is, but it seems kind of silly thinking over it again.

I looked towards Trinity to see if she has any idea of what to do, we are two people, after all, two brains can be better than one. Trinity takes a deep breath to calm herself down, she is eyeing the deer like a piece of pizza, but killing and then eating an animal is grossing her out and I lightly chuckle at her expression.

She glares at me and whispers, "the only choice we have is to take it down with a rock" she looks down and eyes up a fairly large sharp rock and points at it. I nod, great minds think alike eh?

We didn't have a gun or arrow, nor do we know anything about traps.

The deer was still walking next to us around the bush, unassuming to the two individuals planning its demise.

"You should walk around and scare the deer to go in my direction while I take this rock and bash its head in, then we will be eating like kings," I say with a smirk and Trinity rolls her eyes, but agrees with the plan.

She picks up some small pebbles on the floor and slowly makes her way around the massive trees and greenery on her tiptoes, not startling the deer successfully, she looks like she would make an excellent assassin I think as I eyed her buttocks that looked really perky in her black leggings. Wait? What am I thinking at this moment? I shake my head trying to focus on my mission.

I hide behind the tree waiting for my chance to pounce out on my prey like a trap-door spider.

Hopefully, the deer runs my way instead of another direction. I peek the corner, watching Trinity tiptoe like she was sneaking out of her house, trying to not wake up her parents, slowly dodging the branches and leaves on the floor, she looked like an expert.

She finally reached the other side of the deer and myself, now we pretty much had the deer in the middle while each of us was on either side. She looked toward the large tree I was hiding behind and laughed, she could see my shoulders peeking out of the tree, if someone saw this they would know someone was hiding behind the tree, not very subtle Kai.

She shakes her head, stopping the laugh as she looked toward the deer who had its head down, sniffing the ground or whatever deers do. She played with the small pebbles in her hand trying to think of the best way to make the deer run in the exact direction Kai is at, she could set up pits all around but that would take too long and would have an even higher chance of making the deer alert.

She could only go through with this plan, it was their only chance, her mouth was really dry as she tried to come up with more ideas, she tried to produce more saliva to cleanse her dry mouth...wait since there was a deer that means there must be a water source here! How could they not think of this! How else would a deer who looked like a fully grown adult, healthy and vigorous survive without water?

Trinity slowly and silently walked back under the scorching sun, successfully making her way back to Kai without any problems, Kai's face that made her heart stop looked at her confused.

"What's wrong" Kai whispered in her ear causing her fine hairs to stand-up.

"Kai...We shouldn't kill the deer so fast, we should slowly follow it and wait until it gets thirsty, it will eventually lead us to drinkable water!"

Kai's eyes widened, why couldn't I think of such a thing? We were just thinking of slaughtering it like some barbarians instead of being smart, tch, this damn heat.

Kai wiped the sweat off his chest and abs in anger, making Trinity ogle.

Kai looked towards Trinity, making her look away again, as he patted her blonde hair, he hugged her and picked her off her feet spinning in a circle.

"Great idea." Kai happily whispered to Trinity who was blushing up another storm as he set her overly soft body down to the ground.
