Things get worse
After the amazing feast, all the boys attempted to go back to their room but they ate a little more than their bodies could handle and were on a timer before they passed out due to a food coma. Walking as fast as the boys could James fell and passed out on the ground, "WE HAVE A MAN DOWN!" Clayden screamed, Kymani turned around, picked him up on his shoulders, and kept walking. "We mustn't fall men, we have to make it back to the room," Clayden said, filling the boys with determination to make it back so they could hit the hay. Not too far from the room, Toby's legs gave out, "Go on without me boys it's too late for me" Toby said dramatically. "No man left behind!" Jonathan said as he went over to Toby as he picked him up like a princess. Finally making it back to their rooms Kymani laid James down, then laid down himself and immediately passed out. Jonathan set Toby down so they could both sleep, "Yall go to sleep I'll be back I have to use the bathroom." Clayden said as Jonathan gave him a thumbs up.
Clayden then left the room before having a realization that would prove fatal. *I don't know where the bathroom is* he thought to himself as he started to wander around the living quarters of the boat. *Where is the bathroom I've been wandering for hours* he thought as a single tear ran down his cheek in despair, he found a clock and realized, "Aw what the hell it's only been 5 minutes." After a couple more minutes of clueless wandering he ran into the worker girl, "YES, my savior" he couldn't help but blurt out. "What?" she said confusingly, "Where is the bathroom?" he quickly asked, waiting for a response. "Oh it's behind you," she said pointing behind him, as Clayden turned he saw the bathroom which he passed multiple times not thinking it was accessible to the public. He started to walk towards the door and then turned around, "Thank you by the way" he said to the girl. "Oh it's nothing," she said in response, Clayden then opened the bathroom door with a vigorous smile on his face, *I'm fixing to blow this shit up* he thought to himself as he locked the door behind him.
After he was done committing war crimes he started heading back to his room, "Wait I wonder what the unused place James and Jonathan went to was like, maybe tomorrow when we are all awake we can check it out. As he returned to the room he fully expected everyone to be passed out but when he opened the door he was surprised to see Jonathan playing on his Xbox with a portable TV and everything. "Listen, I can explain." Jonathan said as he saw Clayden's confusion as they just stared at each other, "Well seeing as you're awake can you show me the place you and James went to earlier?" Clayden asked uninterested in discussing Jonathan's obvious addiction. "Yeah, I don't see why not" Jonathan responded, turning off the TV and Xbox putting his shoes on, they started to walk out to the back of the boat. It was rather bare looking during the day but now at night it looks uninhabited and rather creepy, no lights were on in the back so Clayden pulled out his phone flashlight to light the way. Jonathan led the way to the staircase they found earlier, once there they started descending the stairs, "A little spooky isn't it?" Clayden said to break the silence knowing both of them were tired. "Eh, it's less scary than your mom when she finds your report card." Jonathan responded, "I actually have good grades so I wouldn't know what that's like" Clayden quickly said in a bragging manner smirking at Jonathan. Jonathan just looked at Clayden with a disappointed look on his face as they reached the first level below the deck.
"Did y'all go any lower?" Clayden asked curiously, "Nah, we got kicked out before we could explore more." Knowing that a worker could catch them at any moment circled Clayden's head, but despite that, they moved on looking around the dark abandoned floor. "Let's check out the next floor" Jonathan suggested to Clayden, who was hesitant at first but soon agreed. They headed down the stairs and if the setting couldn't get worse the stairs went from being normal to straight concrete, when they got to where the 3rd floor should be they found a closed door with a circle spindle as a door handle. "Well we got this far might as well open it up," Jonathan said as he struggled to move the handle but eventually got it open. When they walked in there wasn't anything interesting but as they walked they kept hearing a squishy sound. "What is that?" Clayden asked as he looked down they saw water all over the floor, "The hell, why is there water?" Jonathan asked, "I think it's time to go!" Clayden said as they both started heading back to the deck. Before they could get back to the surface the boat started shaking, "What the fuck!" Jonathan yelled, "We need to get to the surface now!" Clayden yelled.
The shaking didn't stop, when they got to the surface they went to the side to look at what was happening, when they looked over their hearts sank and what they saw were rocks, huge and small scraping the side of the boat. "What is the damn captain doing?" Jonathan said with a stutter in his voice, "We need to get the others!" Clayden persisted, before they could think the worker girl stopped them, "Yall need to head to the escape boats!" She said to them, "Why is this happening?" Clayden said, his heart was beating fast and he got shaky. "I don't know, the rocks came from nowhere, they weren't on the radar!" She said, which put fear into both of the boy's eyes, Clayden's legs got wobbly, unable to run, "Hey we need to get the other guys" Jonathan stated knowing how Clayden was feeling. "I-I can't move," Clayden said in complete fear, "Stay here!" Jonathan commanded as he started running to where their room was. Jonathan sprinted but to his surprise, the other 3 were awake and met him halfway, "Dude where's Clayden?" Kymani asked, "Follow me," Jonathan said, leading them to where Clayden and the girl were. They ran to where Clayden was sitting down, unable to move because of fear, "Ok, all 5 of you need to get to the escape boat now!" The girl commanded, "I will lead you all there" she said as she started running and waved her hand motioning them to follow her. When they got to the boat there was no one else to be found, "Where is everyone else?" James asked confused and terrified, "I don't know–" Before she could finish her sentence a flying beast flew from nowhere and grabbed her flying up, when the beast was high in the sky it dropped the girl, killing her in front of the boys.
Filled with fear Clayden couldn't help but scream in terror as tears fled from his face, "HEY, calm down, put this life jacket on.' Toby said to Clayden, handing him a life jacket and trying to calm him down, all 5 boys put on their life jackets with haste and started getting in the boat, Kymani looked at the girl's lifeless body broken and twisted from the fall and couldn't help throwing up in the boat. As Jonathan was about to release the boat to the water the beast flew by slicing the back rope in half leaving the boat hanging diagonally. All boys managed to hang on but their grips were quickly slipping, Jonathan climbed to the peak of the boat. "There's nothing to cut the rope with!" he yelled to the other boys praying one of them had a solution, the boys were too scared and focused on hanging on to speak, Jonathan looked up the rope was hanging on a hook connected with a pin to a metal beam. Jonathan climbed up to the pin, "I'm about to drop the boat brace yourselves!" He yelled, from the side the big beast started flying toward him with its claws out, Jonathan tried pulling the pin but he was shaking too much to pull it, as the beast got closer, he felt more pressure.
He looked away assuming the worst was about to happen, but right before the beast struck he pulled the pin dropping the boat to the water and causing the beast to fly into the pole knocking it out and making it fall into the water. The boat fell vertically landing in the water, when it landed it adjusted making it land upward, Jonathan looked around and saw everyone in the boat everyone except Toby who was in the water struggling to stay afloat. Jonathan tried to jump to save him but tripped and couldn't get up, Kymani saw what was happening and mustered the strength to jump in the water. He swam as fast as he could to Toby, grabbing him and pulling him toward the boat. Once all 5 were on the boat, Kymani and Toby passed out due to fatigue. Clayden looked around at all his friends who were unconscious, weak, and terrified and looked at the cruise as his vision was fading, the cruise had a spiked rock in the side and was smoking. *Why did this happen to us* He thought as he passed out.
