Sox flies the spaceship toward the D.H. headquarters. She glanced at Storm 01 who gently stomped his head continuously on the window of the ship. They had asked a passer and he explained that the house was collected by the state eight years ago and sold to the Quantum Realm Corp.
He explained that according to the rumors, the Quantum Realm Corp bought the house and the land around it to build a branch in Zoda.
Storm 01 punched the window with the side of his fist, causing Sox to flinch in her seat.
"You know what, I don't even care what happens to that fool. He sold me out after all. I'm going to return to H.Q and never think about him again..."
Just as he completed his sentence, he dropped his head into his hands and began to wail in tears. He couldn't. He just couldn't bring himself to hate his father. No matter how badly he was treated by him, no matter how negligent he was. Even after he sold him, he couldn't hate him.
Sox looked away from him and clicked a button on the instrument panel of the ship. She kept her hand on the button until she heard a 'click' sound before speaking.
"Rory we are ready to port, over."
She waited, but there was no reply. "Rory, do you copy?"
"Oh, I copy alright." Miss Havishma's voice came in, instead of their companions.
"Crap," Sox exclaimed.
...
Storm 01 and Sox strode over to where Miss Havishma was. Ishary and Electro 28 also stood behind her. With some members of the white squad. The white squad members rushed over to the spaceship the duo took.
"Not a single word from either of you," Miss Havishma interrupted before Storm 01 could speak. He could see she was immensely pissed just by looking at her face.
"Blue 06, take him with you."
"Yes ma'am."
Storm 01 slipped his hands into his pocket and reluctantly followed behind Ishary. As they got out of sight, Miss Havishma turned to Sox.
"What were you thinking?" she fumed. "Storm 01 is still going through tests and you took him out of the sick bay?"
Sox looked at Miss Havishma without the lankiest sign of regret in her eyes. "Sorry," she mumbled before turning to leave.
Miss Havishma grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. She twists Sox's hand, making her screech in pain. "Hand it over!" Miss Havishma demanded.
"Let go of me." Sox tried to unhand herself but surprisingly, Miss Havishma's grip was tough and it gave her difficulties.
Electro 28 looked around the place. Luckily for them, the others, including the white squad had already left the place, they were the only three left.
"Miss Havishma, you should take this elsewhere," he said, concerned that someone might see them.
She failed to keep her agents in check and is now drawing it back and forth with inferior-ranked personnel. He feared that Chief might spot them, and begin to ask questions. This may result in him finding out that two agents from the Storm troopers snuck out from H.Q. And he may relieve her from her duty.
"Sox Code!" Miss Havishma yelled out. "I am your superior, not only by rank but also by age. Give. It. Back!"
Sox struggled some more, but it was all futile. Miss Havishma use to be an Electro trooper and her grip was strong. Sox's wrist which Miss Havishma held was turning red. It was visible due to her pale skin. She shouted maniacally before she brought out a small box the size of her palm and handed it to Miss Havishma. She pulled her hands away from Miss Havishma's grip and ran off.
Miss Havishma exhaled deeply before opening up the box. It contained five syringes that had a white-colored liquid in them. One was empty.
"Damn that girl." Miss Havishma ran her hand through her hair.
"What is it?" Electro 28 queried. He paced forward to see what was in the box. "What is this?"
Miss Havishma closed the box and slipped it into the pocket of her coat. "It's a counter syrup I created to temporarily neutralize Storm 01 in case of any outburst," she explained.
"How did she get her hands on it?"
"I don't know. She must have taken it from the lab." Miss Havishma started towards the exit of the hangar.
Electro 28 followed behind her. "Why don't you just relief her of her duties, maybe send her back to Winter Weir to join the officers, she'll be of less trouble there," he suggested.
She stopped and turned to him. "I can't."
"You can't? What is up with you Miss Havishma? Since when can you not accomplish a task?" he probed. "You weren't this way when we were comrades. You use to tell me everything you were going through. You were more... Cheerful and loved working with others, and do not hesitate to discipline others when they act up. What happened to you? What happened to the Miss Havishma I was in a squad with..."
"I can't because Sox is my daughter!" the words slipped out of her mouth with a dropping tear that rolled down her cheek.
Electro 28 staggered backward. He was shocked, completely frozen, and speechless.
"I..." she stopped. "I tried, but I can't seem to survive whenever she's far away from me. Why do you think I always bring her whenever we were on missions, back when I was an electro trooper?" Miss Havishma sobbed and wiped away the river that poured down her eyes.
"I don't need to ask you to keep this a secret, Joe Anthem." She turned and exit the hangar.
Electro 28 blinked continuously as he tried to contain himself. After receiving the huge revelation from Miss Havishma, he starts to see the resemblance. They have the same pale skin, the same blue eyes, and also the same dark hair. But the revelation doesn't answer any of his questions. He regained his composure and started walking. Instead, it gave rise to more pivotal questions.
