chapter 9:Under the streetlight

"Good afternoon!What are you guys doing here instead of attending the classes!?" Roman asked them narrowing his eyes.

"We are searching for my friend! " Uve replied nervously.

"She is not a little girl to lost in the daylight. Go to your classes. " He ordered them and walk away

and went to the IT building. He pushed the door that was slightly opened.

"Hello Roman!" the man with a glass greeted him with a smile and went to the computer table to pull out a paper and hand it over to him.

A small smile appeared on his lips with the result of location that he asked the IT manager to search few moment ago.

"Do you know how to swim?? "The person asked in her ear.

"P-professor Roman!" Anna's voice cracked and the remain words were beyond his hearing as thin whispers in the air.

He embraced her in his arms as she was sobbing and he just let her cry.

Both of them sat on the wooden podium drowning their feet in the water. She had rested her head on his shoulder. The sun was going to set as it assumed the red tint across the sky.

Her swollen face became more attractive in the rays of setting sun.He bent down his head and kissed her cheeks.

"Its getting dark let's go." Roman said with a squeeze on her shoulder while stood up from the podium and give her a hand.

"How did you know that I would be here??" Anna asked with a soft voice while grabbing the hand he forwarded.

"You can never go away from me. I won't let you go.Do you hear me you are mine." He utter the words under his breathe and step closer to bent down to rest his forehead on her's. She put her hand around his neck and he embraced her tightly.

Anna rest her head on his chest.

The sun was set but yet to be dark.The sky was not bright but it was painted with crimson red and shuttled of stars was just apprising the ascents of moon.

"Look"Roman pointed toward the sky that was bright with thousands of stars.

" Waa...h its great! " She give him a warm smile.

They spent some more time there and get the way of return home.

Thay took the causeway for returning home.

"Your friend is worried let her know that you are safe." Roman said holding her hand in his fist.Her small hand sheathed in his hand so easily.

The streetlight were lightening in yellow sodium light that made a sacramental environment.

They were walking slowly on the pavement of a busy road.

The small flowers of the roadside hedgerows were bloomed and looked like small snow flacks.

"Year ending exams are near how about your preparation and did you prepared everything for your study overseas? " Roman asked her without turning his gaze from the roads.

"I did it but not properly. And I was little frustrated last few day's" Anna huffed and said those words within a breathe.

"I see.Now you have to rearrange every loops and take the preparation seriously. "

"I will." She replied with a nervous smile.

She went to a telephone booth near the road and call Uve.

"It's Anna here! "

"Hey you idiot, mad women where are you now, I will kill you today and don't ever dare to call me... "

Uve was shouting on the phone like a mad.

"I am in the 'Yellow cafe ' come fast if you wanna kill me" Anna teased her with a laugh.

"I have to go to the cafe.We will met soon?" Anna said pointing toward the cafe behind him.

"Ok let's eat something.. " he said the words just to interrupted by her.

"Uve is coming. I mean.. I asked her to.... "

"Oh!Ok then. Don't ever dare to.... "

"I-I understand. I am sorry " She shook her head in defence and put a nervous smile.

"It's ok. Be safe then"He said with a smile and bent down to give a kiss on her forehead.

She went inside the cafe and took a seat near the window when she saw Uve enter the room and Jason following behind her.

" Hi dear!"Anna greet her with a smile and saw her throwing something toward her.

"What a greeting after giving us a hard day..." Uve said gritting her teeth.

Their fight continued untill they heard Jason's laughter.

"You girls! What are you hahaha"

They eat their dinner in that cafe and their chitchat goes on.

After dinner Anna took her bag from Uve that was thrown on her some moment ago.

They bid their goodbyes to each other

and walk towards their home and this time Jason didn't followed her.

Times flow on it's own wave.After that day Jason didn't dare to give Anna any gifts. And they became busy to take preparation for their final exams.

The year ending exams were so important for them as they need to get a good marks for entering in a good University. Everyone was taking preparation but Anna was more serious as she need to go overseas.

She need to work harder then others as the declaration of the schoolership was yet to be came.

Five people were choosen from their College but only three person would be blessed with the permission.
