Chapter 21: Christmas

Walter's POV
Finally its Christmas Eve our stay here in New York has been a blast! I'm just a little bit scared kasi she's been a little bit cold...we talk but hindi na katulad nang dati it seems like she's loosing interest well I hope not, pero palagi nalang syang lutang and that scares the crap out of me. Last night we decided to go to the mall to buy gifts for everyone kaya naman naghahanda na ako ngayon I was thinking of talking to Andy about Angelica's gift since I wanted to give her rings a promise ring and a couple ring I've never been this cheesy but for Angelica I will do this...sabi pa nga ni Alex I am totally whipped. I am now on my way to Andy's office since lahat sila ay pumunta na sa mall while I decided to go to Andy's office before going to the mall bumaba na ako sa sasakyan nila Andy since his lolo insisted a magpahatid nalang daw ako sa driver nila. I went inside the elevator and pressed the number of Andy's floor may ibang tao din na pumasok sa elevator on my way to Andy's office.
When I reached her office ako nalang mag-isa sa elevator one of her employees even asked me kung saan ako na floor baba when I told her the floor bigla nalang syang namutla and dali daling lumabas.
I didn't bother knocking on Andy's door since alam naman nyang pupunta ako ngayon so I went in her office and saw Felix hugging her they were both facing the large window of Andy's office the view was actually amazing kitang kita yung mga building sa New York tumikhim ako kaya napabitaw si Felix kay Andy at humarap silang dalawa sa akin.
"Walter nandito ka na pala have a seat" dali dali syang umupo sa upuan nya
lumapit naman si Felix sa kanya at hinalikan sya sa pisngi "il mio amore I'll just go to the cafe downstairs I'm hungry hehe"
"okay potato I'll call you when we're done. Don't look at other girls or else I'll make sure you'll loose your eyes in a really painful way" tumawa naman si Felix he was now outside Andy's office sumigaw naman sa nang "oh amore I love how you're so brutally loving!"
natawa naman si Andy
"okay so Walter what did you wanna talk about?"
"a-ano uhm" nahihiya talaga akong sabihin kay Andy kung anong gusto kong ibigay kay Angelica
"What come on tell me"
"I wanted to give Angelica a promise ring and a couple ring"
tumawa naman si Andy "jusko naman yan lang pala here I have some designs na para sa valentines collection ko next year may tatlong available each design and good thing the people who make the rings suggested na gumawa kami nang tatlong rings, bracelets, neckaces, and anklets so here are the designs for the promise rings and here are for the couple rings." she gave me a folder full of her designs namangha naman ako sobranggaling ni Andy no wonder she's successful.
Tinignan ko lahat nang designs nya and after a few minutes I finally found the perfect rings kaya pinakita ko na sya sa mga designs na gusto ko para kay Angelica I found a wooden couple ring and a swarovski pink ring its perfect.
"Nice choice tara na sa baba para you can get the rings na"
We both went down to get the rings may kamahalan din I payed two hundred fifty thousand for all the rings dapat nga ay three hundred thousand lahat nang babayaran ko pero Andy insisted on giving me another discount kaya yun na lang yung binayaran pero its all worth it I'll give her our couple ring kapag kami na and I'll be giving her the promise ring mamayang 12 I really hope she likes it. Nandito na kami sa sasakyan ni Andy and Felix was driving we're on our way to the mall at hindi ko na din kailangang maghanap nang regalo para sa mga magulang ko, kaibigan, at iba pang kasama namin mamaya for Christmas since I already bought gifts nuong na sa times square kami. When we reached the mall we directly went to the fast food place kung saan sila Angelica I saw their table at tumabi na ako kay Angelica ngumiti naman sya nung nakita nya ako.
"Have you eaten papunta pa lang ang order natin I ordered burger, fries, and coke for you okay lang ba sayo yun?" she said
"Yep" when our food came we started eating and talking mabuti naman at hindi na nag tanong si Angelica kung saan ako nangaling, Andy and Felix still had their own worlds si Christian naman ay nakatingin sa malayo habang kumakain alam kong nasasaktan sya sa mga nakikita nya ngayon but then he chose to stay silent. Angelica talked about how fun it was to go shopping on new york since sobrang dami daw nang choices
When we finished eating we decided to go home dahil sobrang dami na ng tao sa mall, Felix had to go home dahil may kailangan pa daw syang asikasuhin mas mabuti na din na wala sya dahil naawa ako sa kaibigan ko I know hard it was for him to see Felix and Andy together. When we reached Andy's house we changed and went to the entertainment room since we all wanted to wacth a movie for the rest of the afternoon

Angelica's POV
We're all here in the garden ang mama ni Walter, parents nina Christian, Alex, Leandro, Andy , parents ko, Andy's grandparents ofcourse and Felix sya nga lang mag-isa. I'm so excited kasi just a few minutes from now Christmas na I really hope Walter loves my gift since I had it customized for him I'm sitting beside Walter while waiting for the fireworks display after a few minutes nag countdown na kami and when 12 am came may fireworks na inakbayan ako ni Walter and I smiled at him
"Walter I have something to tell you" tumingin sya sa aking after what I said he smiled and asked me what I was going to say
"Tara na muna sa loob" I grabbed his arm and went to everyone
"Ma, Pa, this is my boyfriend Walter"
Everyone was shocked but soon our parents clapped their hands ang mga kaibigan naman namin ay nagtatatalon habang sumisigaw nang "yes!"
they ran towards Walter's direction na hanggang ngayon ay tulala pa din we were all laughing at his reaction his mouth was slightly open and he was looking at me still shocked I held his cheek and slightly caressed it and spoke
"Huy tulala ka" nagulat naman ako when tears fell from his eyes
"I'm just happy that you're finally mine thank you Angelica thank you I promise that I'll never hurt you I love you" I was touched with what he said
"I love you too Walter" we hugged each other and started our gift giving lumabas naman kami ni Walter pagkatapos and went to the garden again we sat on the tea table while holding each other's hands and looking at the stars
"Here's my gift" Walter gave me 2 boxes from Morphia I opened the first one and saw a pink swarovski ring
"W-Walter its lovely! Thank you!" sinuot nya sa akin yun he then opened the second box and I was amazed again it was a very unique couple ring!
"This one is a couple ring I'm planning to give this to you the moment you say yes to me since you said yes to me tonight that's why doble ang ibi-bigay ko sa'yo ngayon I hope you like it" he wore the other one pagkatapos ay sinuot nya yung isa sa aking and it fits my finger perfectly!
"I love it Walter and it fits my finger perfectly" we held hands again we looked at the stars sobrang ganda nang langit
"Walter may tanong ako" I said and looked at him, he looked at me and asked "What is it?"
"when did you start having feelings for me?" nahihiya ako sa tanong ko kay yumuko ako
"Hey what's wrong nahihiya ka ba sa tanong mo?" I nodded he held my chin and made me look at him
"Wag kang mahiya it was actually love at first sight first day of classes 'yun I was looking for seats then I saw you sobrang simple mo yet you caught my attention so I talked to you everytime na magkasama tayo my heart would beat so fast I didn't know I was inlove until nung nagbati kami ni Leandro naaalala mo pa ba yung nag-away kami sa beach he said he liked you and I know that he would just play with you kaya nagalit ako nagsuntukan kami turns out everything was planned by Leandro nung nagkabati kami they asked me some questions then boom they told me I was inlove with you they told me the signs and it was positive mahal na nga kita and I am so happy na sinagot mo na ako" nagulat at natawa naman ako sa mga sinabi nya
"AHAHAHAHA jusko naman si Leandro parang syang cupid na modern version na walang jowa" tawa ako nang tawa si Leandro talaga
"Ikaw how did you like me?" I stopped laughing
"ewan ko actually basta one day I woke up crush na kita tapos kapag kumakaing tayo together kinikilig na ako" natawa naman sya sa sinabi ko I am actually telling the truth
He hugged me and said "I love you Angelica thank you for giving me this chance" namula naman ako sa sinabi nya
"I-I love you too Walter" I hugged his arms na nakayap pa din sa akin
Narrator's POV
Ang hindi alam ni Walter at Angelica na nakatingin si Felix sa kanila habang umiinon nang alak sa terrace niyakap sya ni Andy sabay bulong nang
"I know you like her Mr.Nostra stop courting me I don't have time for another set of lies"
humarap si Felix sa kanya and caressed her cheeks "I love you il mio amore okay. I'm happy for them I used to love her okay"
Andy sighed and spoke again "ikaw bahala potato if that's what you think" kiniha ni Andy ang baso ni Felix na may lamang alak at inubos ang laman nito she turned his back at Felix at umalis na sa terrace.
Nagdadalawang isip naman si Felix sa kanyang nararamdaman may pwesto pa din si Angelica sa kanyang puso but the same time Andy also has a place in his heart naguguluhan na talaga sya he didn't wanna hurt Andy kahit papaano ay nasanay na syang palaging nadyan sila ni Andy para sa isa't isa at magkaibigan na silang dalawa before he even decided to court her.
That night Andy stayed in her room's terrace while looking at the stars on the other side of the mansion of Don Antonio and Donya Hera, Christian was also in his room's terrace while looking at the stars
"I still love you but it hurts like crap" sabay nilang sabi
