The Rescue

[Amethyst walks up to the rear door of the dropship to check the shipment.]

Stevonnie: *looks out a window* We're very lucky that it is our Amethyst who comes to check the shipment.

Lars: Then let's take care of her first.

[Stevonnie gets ready to act.]

Stevonnie: Sure!

[Amethyst opens the rear door of the dropship.]

Amethyst: *surprised* What the-?!!

[Stevonnie grabs Amethyst quite tightly, pulling her into the ship.]

Stevonnie: I've got her!!

[Stevonnie's hand closes over Amethyst's mouth, causing her to scream-muffled and struggle.]

Lars: *closes the door* All set!

Stevonnie: Alright, let's bring Amethyst back...

[How Amethyst gets her memories back has been omitted for brevity, it was pretty much the same as in the movie.]

[After a while.]

[Amethyst can be seen to glow and then float out of Stevonnie's arms. She then cycles between various of her past forms, until she sticks to one, returning back to her current self. After reforming and regaining her memories, Amethyst falls onto the ground from the air.]

Amethyst: *confused* Ohh... What just happened?!

Stevonnie: Amethyst, it worked! You're back!

Amethyst: Stevonnie?! Is it really you?!

Stevonnie: Flesh and blood!

Amethyst: Wh-what are you doing here?!

Stevonnie: We've come to the rescue, of course!

[Amethyst suddenly hugs Stevonnie tightly.]

Amethyst: You saved me!! *tears up* Thank you so much!

Stevonnie: Don't mention it.

[Stevonnie responds as they hugs Amethyst back.]

Stevonnie: Is everything all right, Amethyst?! You're not hurt, are you?!

Amethyst: Don't worry, I'm fine.

Stevonnie: Glad to hear it.

Amethyst: So, what's the plan now?

Stevonnie: I'll let you know the details later, okay? Right now the important thing is to get into this storeroom no matter what.

Amethyst: Got it, ma'am!

[Outside the dropship.]

Amethyst 8XJ: What's taking that runt so long?

Amethyst 8XL: No idea. It's been over twenty minutes already, hasn't it?

Amethyst 8XJ: Yeah.

Amethyst 8XL: That's too long, even for that runt, don't you think?

Amethyst 8XJ: We'd better go check what's taking that bimbo so long.

Amethyst 8XL: Let's go.

[Inside the dropship.]

Lars: *looks out the window* Guys, I hate to interrupt your reunion, but the other Amethysts are coming!

Amethyst: Don't freak out, guys!

[Amethyst says as she summons her whip.]

Amethyst: I got this!!

[The two Amethysts open the back door of the ship, just then Amethyst lashes her whip at them and manages to tie them up tightly.]

Amethyst 8XJ: *groans in pain* Wh-what the heck!?

Amethyst 8XL: What are you doing?!

Amethyst 8XJ: She's betraying us!

Amethyst 8XL: You'll pay dearly for this, runt!!

Amethyst: Will you be quiet, I just want to help you guys get back to being yourselves!

[A few moments later.]

[Amethyst easily got the other two Amethysts to remember who they are, as she knows them so well.]

Amethyst 8XL: You... saved us, thank you!

Amethyst 8XJ: Yes, thank you very much, 8XM.

Amethyst 8XL: We have treated you very badly for a while now, I hope you can forgive us for everything.

Amethyst 8XJ: Yeah, we didn't mean to. We apologize from the bottom of our gems.

Amethyst: No need to apologize. *hugs them* You were being manipulated.

[As Amethyst was talking to her Amethyst friends, the rest of the teams had contacted Stevonnie.]

Stevonnie: The other teams have just informed me that they have managed to bring back the other Gems who were guarding the rest of the storerooms, they just need to bring back the ones inside. They're about to get in, let's do the same.

Lars: Roger.

Stevonnie: Let's get moving then, Amethyst, Lars.

Amethyst: Ok.

Amethyst 8XL: Uh... Excuse me.

Amethyst 8XJ: What about us?

Stevonnie: Well, you guys stay here, someone might come and it would be suspicious if there was no one guarding the entrance. And the last thing we want is to raise suspicions, right?

Amethyst 8XJ: Got it!

Amethyst 8XL: No problem!

Stevonnie: *to their friends* Now, let's get the rest of our friends.

Lars: Sure.

Amethyst: Yeah!!

[The trio gets into the dropship.]

Nephrite Cut763: *worried* Guys, we have a little snag.

Stevonnie: What is it?!

Nephrite Cut763: Each storeroom is equipped with numerous state-of-the-art security cameras; of course, it is impossible not to get caught on.

Amethyst: That's true.

Lars: Something must be done about it or we'll be found out.

Amethyst: What are we supposed to do?

Stevonnie: There is no need for alarm, guys, everything is under control.

Amethyst: Huh?

Stevonnie: I was already aware of all that, so before we left Earth we tasked one of our hacker Peridots to tap into all the security cameras and disable them with her limb enhancers. Right now she's at the palace waiting for my confirmation to act.

Amethyst: Are you serious?

Stevonnie: More than serious.

[Stevonnie takes out a communicator.]

Stevonnie: What's more, I'll get in touch with her right away.

[Stevonnie gets in touch with the hacker.]

Stevonnie: Why, hello there, how's it going? Everything is going according to plan here, so I give you the green light to act.

Peridot 9XL: *speaks through the communicator* Roger. I'll get right on it.

Stevonnie: Just a little query, how long will it take you?

Peridot 9XL: Not long, five minutes at the most. I assure you.

Stevonnie: I see, we'll wait that long then. We trust you.

[Five minutes later.]

Stevonnie: *speaks through the communicator* Yo, can we get in now?

Peridot 9XL: Not yet.

Stevonnie: But the five minutes are up, what happened?

Peridot 9XL: I know. This is harder than I thought, I'm asking you to please wait about four more minutes.

Stevonnie: Okay, we'll wait...
