Chapter 99: Titans Wake
The door they had deemed secure detonated inwards, as if consumed by a wrathful tempest. Splinters of wood and fragments of stone rocketed through the air, a deadly maelstrom that threatened to pierce anything in its path. Dust and smoke bellowed into the room, temporarily blinding and choking them.
Caden and Solari were hurled backward from the sheer force of the explosion. Caden's back slammed against a stone column, the wind knocked out of him, his Void Saber clattering to the floor a few feet away. Solari, more fortunate with his positioning, managed to twist mid-air, landing into a roll, though a sharp fragment of wood embedded itself into his arm.
Emerging from the smoke and dust were two figures, armored in deep azure with silver trims, their insignias blazing proudly on their chest – the emblem of the Celestial Titans. The order was known for their fierce combat techniques and were infamous for using brute force tactics.
