Steins;Gate— The Singularity

Ruka Urushibara, that's my name. Today is New Years Eve but I never expected this day to be more extraordinary than usual. I remembered the memories of my past life and how this world is from an anime. "Why do I have to be a trap though?"

C11 Meeting

{ A/N: I. AM. BACK! Silent is back with another chapter! I am truly sorry for not releasing any chaps in the past week/s. I was busy with exam week and also school projects. Curse my teachers not me.

Anyways, this will be a short chapter. }

====================================

Ruka looked at the female clone inside the nutrient tank and sighed, "It seems like I have no choice but to use it for now."

After asking Beta what went wrong, which is apparently the AGES' effect on the fetus, Ruka conducted the last experiment. But unlike the first time, he was not so lucky and it had some complications.

It seemed that the effect of the AGES on the fetus was too much. It's head became a huge bulky... disgusting thing. Ruka can't bear to see it so much he just straight out incinerated it.

He will need to perfect his AGE Serum if he ever want to have stable experiment results and not have any sort of complications like now.

Ruka sighed looking at the female clone. At least one was a partial success. She still needed to perfect the AGES so it would not result in this in the future.

"Anyways, I can use this body as a cover for handling official businesses," Ruka thought about her money making businesses and suddenly remembered something, "Right! I have a meeting with Astral today! I almost forgot!"

He almost forgot that this is a different worldline. He was so invested in the success of his project that he isolated himself inside his lab.

Ruka then looked at the female clone and said, "Heh, it seems like this body will be seeing the light of day earlier than I expected."

"Did you say that Equinox-sensei is coming? Why didn't you tell me earlier?! Come with me and let's welcome them at the front!" A woman wearing a professional wear said.

She is Arakawa Michiko, the founder and current CEO of Astral Jump, the company that Ruka authorized with releasing his works.

While walking to the elevator, she thought about what that mangaka under the alias of Equinox has done for their company for the past months.

They first found Equinox-sensei at their company's online novel website called Astral Novels. They use that website as a free reading and online reading site.

Currently Astral Novel's users already spread nationwide and there are even some foreigners using the site. But this only started when Equinox-sensei made and posted their first novel here.

Sword Art Online. This masterpiece catched the attention of avid readers nationwide and had the approval of countless otakus in Japan. It's adventurous and new themes got the attention of the readers.

Due to this we tried to contact Equinox-sensei. But it seemed like they didn't want to meet with us and only wanted to be anonymous back then. They agreed on letting us publish the Sword Art Online novel though and also their following works.

After our deal with Equinox-sensei, that was the start of my company's rise. Equinox-sensei released masterpieces like a sow birthing piglets every month till now.

Novels like Sword Art Online, Kumo desu ga Nani Ka?, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, and Overlord. They also made these two manga masterpieces, Records of Ragnarok and Shokugeki no Souma.

With Equinox-sensei's works, we became the top manga and novel publishing company in Japan. We also became quite known overseas because of Records of Ragnarok and the Sword Art Online novel.

Now, I am going to meet the author of those masterpieces in person! We will talk about the plan of making the anime for Sword Art Online today.

I am excited to meet them and I'm also curious as to what they look like. Would they be an unkempt middle aged man or a gloomy otaku?

With anticipation and a smile in my face, I walked out of the elevator and made my way to the entrance of the company.

"What did Equinox-sensei say? How do we know it's them?" I asked my secretary as I walked out and looked around the front of the company building.

"Umm... they said that they're on their way here." My secretary said as she lifted her head up from her phone and looked ahead.

Not long after she said so, they saw a slick black motorcycle drift to a stop in front of them shocking them. The drift was too smooth and skilled.

The rider of the motorcycle then took of their helmet and her beautiful face was then revealed. Paired with the her riding suit (the same as the one Moeka used as a member of the Rounders) she was what you could call a valiant modern beauty.

The beautiful woman then looked at their direction and slowly walked up to them in large strides.

"Hello, I am Equinox-sensei. My real name is Hikari Aiko. I take it that you are Ms. Arakawa?" The woman smiled as she introduced herself.

{ A/N: I will call Ruka as Aiko whenever he's in the female clone. }

Still shocked, Michiko woke up from her shock and hurriedly introduced herself, "Y-Yes I am Arakawa Michiko, CEO of Astral Jump."

Aiko chuckled and said, "No need to be nervous Ms. Arakawa. I don't bite."

"Ha... Hahaha! Yes, I just didn't expect you to be a beautiful woman. I thought Equinox-sensei would be a gloomy otaku or something." Michiko said in order to hide her embarrassment.

"Now you see. Let's continue our talk inside Ms. Arakawa."

"Yes, Yes, you're right. Let's go inside."

The three went inside the building and the meeting about the release of the Sword Art Online anime began.

Meanwhile, while Ruka... or should I say Aiko was having a meeting with the CEO of Astral Jump, there is also a meeting going on in NOZOMI outside her knowledge.

"Is it really worth our attention? It's just a small thing."

"It may be for you. But we need to monitor every movement to prevent unforseen circumstances. We don't want a repeat of what happened last year."

Undercurrents are brewing without her knowledge or attention.
