CHAPTER 20

　　"What became of the girls?" I asked.

　　"They're still eating, Miss. Don't you want to eat? You might be hungry later," Lazzy speculated.

　　"I'm fine; I'll eat right now, but first I'll rest," I explained.

　　Mitch and I are still here, with only the stars in the dark sky to guide us.

　　"Are you getting cold?"

　　"Yeah, why is this the dress I expected to wear?" she asked.

　　I didn't even think of bringing a hoodie because I was so excited to be with Mitch. I looked around.

　　Many of us are still here. Nobody seems to want to go home just yet. I'm confident we won't have to ride back later.

　　"Yeah, we were so excited that we forgot to bring a jacket. For the cold. If we stay here until noon, we'll be freezing," I explained.

　　"Yes," Mitch said.

　　"Just let me know if you want to eat, and I'll get you something there," I said.
