Chapter Sixteen

"What do you want to tell me?" Felix was curious at Seungmin.

Seungmin looked at Felix and pouted. "You forgive me now?" Felix smiled and nodded. "Yep. I forgive you Seungmin." Seungmin smiled in happiness like a puppy and hugged Felix. Felix chuckled at hugged Seungmin back.

"You should have told me that Chan and Sana noona was about to get married..." Felix blurted out while pouting.

"Hmmm... You're wishes are coming true, huh?" Seungmin said while hugging Felix. "Yeah." Felix smiled like an idiot. "I'm sorry if I haven't helped you out to get closer to Chan hyung." Seungmin said and pouted again. "But at least, it's happening now~" He added.

"Yeah..." Felix said and smiled.

"Heyyow~" Chan and Hyunjin greeted the two pretty bestfriends. The two boys just went back from groceries a little while and to respect the dandy boy and the freckled boy's conversation.

Felix and Seungmin let go of the hug and smiled at the two. "Lix, Let's go?" Chan asked.

"Where are you two going?" Hyunjin asked the two. Felix smiled, "At the Han River." "Oh..." 

"Have a good time~" Seungmin said and smiled at the two. Felix and Chan nodded and both of them left and headed to the Han river.

Felix walked beside Chan who is eating a corn dog they bought after they arrived in Han River. "So..." Felix broke the silent atmosphere.

"Let's just find some seat." Chan stated and held Felix's hands and the freckled boy's cheeks blushed again.

Chan and Felix sat on a decent bench and watched the Han River. "I wish life could be just like a river, right?" Chan spoke. Felix smiled, "Yes..."

"It flows all over, never stop flowing whatever happens."

"I wish this could be us right?" Chan said and looked at Felix.

Felix got flustered by the elder boy's words. "W-what do you mean?" He asked in confusion.

"You like me, right?" he smiled at Felix. Felix's heartbeat started to go faster. He was shocked at the moment that his hands started to sweat.

Felix. This is the chance.

"Yes..." he chuckled and blushed.

The tension between them started to aroused. Sitting on a bench, starring at the river, he feels calm especially when he is with him.

Chan smiled and looked at the flustered freckled boy.

"I like you too, Lee."

"h-huh?"

"I said I like you too..." he smiled and looked down.

"Y-you do? W-when? W-why? H-how?" the freckled boy answered, stuttering.

Felix can't believe it.

"I don't know? You make me feel different everytime. Even now... Starting from the day I met you."

"A-aish! Don't tease me jebal!" and Felix covered his face in embarrassment. He felt like his heart will explode.

He just laughed at his cuteness making him more blush. "Cute."

Felix looked at Chan, "But isn't it a-awkward for you?"

"Why would it be? I like you, understand? But it doesn't mean that I'll ask you out for a relationship because I know you'll still get hurt because of me."

Because dad will just hurt you...

He then sighed, "We still can be friends you know?"

I know it breaks your heart but it stung my heart too.

The freckled's heart shuttered after hearing his words. His ears hurt and he felt like he is bleeding all his soul out. It felt like the pain of his words that gave him hypnotized his tongue saying,

"Yes... Just friends."

The blind reaction of Chan answered in an innocent and smiling way, "Good."

He just smiled all his heart out avoiding to make his tears fall down from his brown hazel eyes.

It was a pain for him. His hopes went up high in a short time and it dropped after Chan's statement.

He became deaf and was lost in thought and he just stared at the river's water.

And he looked beside him...

"It was worth it loving you..."

Chan looked at Felix, "And it was worth it loving you too..."

Felix tears fell. "aigoo..." Chan said and hugged him.

"It's my last day here with you and here in South Korea. Dad said that after my three-day chances, I'll go back to Australia and will have another fixed marriage." Chan said with a broken heart.

Felix wip his tears and looked at him. "You'll come back, right? Please stay?" Felix asked and begged for him.

"I'm sorry Lix but I can't okay? This is for you too..."

Felix cried harder on Chan's chest. Chan's heart broke more into pieces hearing Felix begging for him to stay.

"But this is for you Lix... Please don't let me choose a second choice just to be with you and let dad hurt you..." Chan's tears fell.

"I can't understand why is this happening... To us..." Felix said while sobbing.

"But you'll be with me later night, right?" Felix said hoping for Bang Chan to say yes.

"Yes... Lix don't worry... Also, I left many memories for you right?"

"T-thank you for those times..." Felix said. Chan let go of the hug and cupped his cheeks, "I promise we will meet each other again, okay? Hmmm?" his voice cracked up while tears fell.

"Tomorrow at the airport, send me off, okay? Please Lix?" Chan begged at Felix.

Felix can't say no too. Tomorrow is the last day with Chan.

Felix nodded and cried. "Shush... shhsss..." Chan said and pecked Felix forehead.
