Jane's POV
As I walked down the street to start yet another day, I observed the busy morning while enjoying how the sun sketched my skin dearly.
The streets were filled with strangers mingling in some sort of conversation, in every corner, trees bestowed breath of life through their green leaves. Millions of rapid foot strides announced their presence as they paced their way to their final destination like soldiers preparing for war.
As soon as I arrived at work, I tried to keep myself busy, but it was impossible, knowing that the person inside the office opposite mine could distract me from anything with absolutely anything.
I had to blame my mood swings on my non-sleeping nights, let's just say that my nights weren't exactly decent.
'It still beats me, how the hell am I still standing!?'
I quick peek at my watch and it was lunchtime. When I looked up, there he was, talking with whoever that was with his lips curved on a glossy smile.
