Chapter 012- Hidden Occupation!

"Should we start farming xp first or look for the hidden missions that we found in the beta test?" Kirito asked.

"Let's complete the hidden missions first. If someone else finds it first, we would loose out a lot. Other hidden mission can still be ignored for the time being but we must complete the hidden mission which gives us special occupation first. Since that mission as we remember in the beta test was quite special and it happens inside a closed dungeon as only the first one to find the dungeon will get its key."

"Only by using that key, we will be able to enter the dungeon and initiate the mission to get a special occupation. So, I think it would be best if I go there first and collect that key. So for the time being, you guys can farm xp or complete other hidden missions as you wish. After I managed to get that key and a hidden job for myself, I will let you guys know in the chat." Rifat said as he quickly left for the location where the dungeon was hidden.

---Few Moments Later---

'Good. Nobody reached here first. I am the first one to get the key.' Rifat looked at the golden key in his hand as a prompt showed up in front his eyes.

[Ding! It is detected that player Rifat has found a special item. This item is bound to the player and cannot be dropped or traded. Using this item the player can enter a special dungeon to challenge it and get a hidden job for himself.]

[Do you want to use this item right now? YES/NO]

Rifat didn't hesitate as he clicked the YES option using his finger. Upon clicking, his avatar started to disappear as he appeared inside a dimly lit dungeon.

[Ding! Player must complete the following objectives to complete this mission and get a hidden job.

1. kill at least hundred dungeon minions.

2. Kill at least one mini boss.

3. Find the Occupation token.

Hint- Occupation token is hidden in one of the lairs of the mini boss.]

For an average player, this would be very difficult to complete. The most dangerous part of this mission is not about killing 100 minions or a mini boss but finding the token. Because there is hundreds of mini boss lairs inside this dungeon. If luck isn't good, then there is no chance of completing this mission.

The only way to safely complete the mission is to sneak inside the mini boss's lairs and find the token first. But to do that, one need to have some in game skills which helps one hide or some real life training in sneaking which can be used to avoid attracting the aggro of the mini boss and sneak inside their lairs. Otherwise, if one fights every mini boss they see, then they will be exhausted to death.

Moreover, you will get only one attempt at completing this mission. When Akhiko was creating this dungeon, Rifat was beside him. But every time Rifat wanted to make the missions easy, his system would warn him saying he was attempting to cheat. So, he had no choice but to leave it Akihiko and let him decide how much difficulty would be proper for the reward of a hidden occupation.

'Well, let's do it. I have already completed it once in the beta test, so there should be no problem.'

---Few Hours Later---

'I already found the token. Now I just have to kill the mini boss and 100 of its minions. Let's kill the minions to increase my level first.' Rifat thought as quickly started to kill one minions after another.

It didn't take long before his xp started to skyrocket as he reached level 5. After reaching there, it got stuck. No matter how much more minions he kills, he stopped getting any more xp from it.

'Now I guess I should face the mini boss since there is no point of killing these minions anymore.'

The mini bosses of this dungeon are goblin type. There are two types of goblin miniboss in here. One is Goblin Swordsman and the other is Goblin Wizard. Rifat decided to fight the Goblin Wizard since they are easy to kill compared to Goblin Swordsman.

Even though they have higher attacking power, their defense is generally low and as long as one can dodge their attacks, it is quite easy to kill them.

So, Rifat went toward a Goblin Wizard's lair as he attracted his aggro. After noticing Rifat, the Goblin Wizard quickly launched a fireball attack. Rifat already predicted the trajectory of the attack as he quickly dodged it and tried to get closer to the Goblin Wizard.

But more he get closer to the miniboss, the more fierce its attacks became and more harder it was for Rifat to dodge. When he finally manage to reach within the striking distance, he slashed his sword heavily. Upon taking the hits, the health bar of the mini boss also started to decrease.

'I can't let him shoot those fireballs again. If I take more than two hit from it directly, I will die.' Rifat always kept a close eye at the goblin's hand as he would always slash it every time he tried to raise it in order to stop the fireball spell from being released.

Finally, after minutes of hard work, Rifat managed to defeat the mini boss as a screen showed up in front of his eyes.

Normally, everyone in this game can only use a sword to fight. But Akihiko designed the hidden occupations in a way so that people can use other weapons besides sword if they want.

'I choose sword.' From childhood, Rifat always liked sword. Not to mention, he even has some mastery over it after some training in real world. So, choosing any other weapon would be a big stupidity on his side.

[Ding! Player Rifat has chosen the sword to be his main weapon.]

[Initiating a lottery to choose player Rifat's hidden occupation.]

[Congratulation, you have been awarded the special occupation 'Samurai'. Since samurai are adept at using both sword and bow. Your secondary choice of weapon has been fixed as bow. Please check your inventory for a normal bow and katana.]

After Rifat equipped himself with the bow and Katana, he looked at the new skills that he got from this job.

[First Hit- Your first hit will have 100% chance to land a critical hit.]

[Indomitable will- No matter how much of damage you take, your focus during the battle will never deteriorate . When your hp is lowered to the red bar, your attack power will be increased by 50%]

[Self sacrifice - When this skill is turned on, the enemy will take the same amount of damage they give you.

Skill Time- 1 minute

Cooldown Period- 1 day]

'Damn, that's op specially the last skill. If I use that skill, no player with the same level as me would be able to make me defeat. Anyway, it's time to inform others and let them get their own hidden jobs.'

[A/N: I know long fights are boring, so I will not be focusing on each fight mc does on the game. For now, I only plan to write the fight with the floor bosses that has been mentioned in the anime. If even that feels boring, then I will shorten them up.]
