This story is a sequel to my first story, Secret Powers Within and my other story Started With a Mission. In this story however; Kelsey has to leave her home to find where she comes from and who she is, but she also has to fight a new enemy and finds someone she was certain she was never going to see again. Along with a new person she's never even heard of. Who is she? Where is she from? And what is in store for her now? As for Skye, she further goes on a journey of self reflection and is still learning what it means to have others care about her. All while fighting both internal and physical battles, one battle of which requires both at once... what is she truly capable of?
Kelsey
I caught up to Skye and saw some man standing next to Dylan, he had turned around when my sister entered since you know, doors make noise. Especially when one bursts through. I watched as Skye whipped a gun out of thin air and pointed it at the man, after that intense mental struggle with Philip I thought for sure she would suffer in some way from that but I guess not.
"The fuck did that come from?" I murmured, getting ignored.
"Get the hell away from him or else I'll rip your tiny fucking brain to fucking pieces." She paused before continuing. "Then watch as you fall to the ground, life leaving you slowly, giving you nothing but pure and utter pain." She growled as she forced him to back up against the wall beside the door. I blinked, baffled by the mouthful I just heard. She closed the door so no one else could see or come in then pulled out another gun from nowhere, holding one at his throat and the second on his stomach. "Or would you rather me shoot your tiny dick and watch you bleed to death in even more agony?" She asked a little sadistically, moving the second gun lower. Glad I have never pissed her off, don't think I'd still be alive if I had.
"Two kids and loads of doing my wife before and after both, you really think I'm small dumbass kid?" He dryly laughed before suddenly trying to steal her guns from her hands but extremely, ultimately FAILED. Big time. Because in the blink of an eye she shot him in the dick and he was screaming in pain. Although after hearing what he said I'm sure she was going to shoot him there anyway whether he tried that or not.
"See. I guess, what we've got here is failure to communicate. And that's why you never try and take things from a girl. Especially a girl who wants you dead for hurting her boyfriend and his family." Skye mocked the guy. She opened the door and yelled out, "Clean up on isle four! Some fourty-something year old boy lost his minuscule penis and is drowning in tears about it!"
"PFF..." I snorted, trying to hold my laugh. Skye looked a little proud of herself then stopped smiling and held a gun to the man's head and growled, "Now, how did you get in here."
He continued to cry in pain but spat, "Some guy named Phillip. Said he could get me my son without a problem and anyone who would try to stop me would be dead before they could. Guess he fucking lied."
"Aw boo hoo you were lied to, join the club. How did he get you here?" She questioned further, still holding a gun to his head.
"Some doctor let me in through a door, I already forget where it is. He told me which room my son is in and disappeared." He answered, obviously still in pain.
"Then why the fuck are you here? Huh? Why find your dumb son now?" She demanded.
"Because I never knew where him, his sister and mother went. I've been trying to find them ever since they disappeared, then this guy showed up telling me he could help me get to them. And aren't you his girlfriend? Why are you calling him dumb?" He answered/retorted. She had been slightly pacing then stopped dead and glared at him.
"I am and I can call him dumb because of it you fucking piece of shit. As for trying to find him again, you're lucky he's unconscious and can't tell me to not fucking kill you. If for whatever reason he'd want you to keep breathing that is." He started chuckling but she knelt down to smirk and add, "But as soon as he wakes up I will be able to beat the absolute shit out of you then snap your neck like a pencil."
Fear flashed through the man's eyes but he hid it by retorting, "Yeah right, he won't let you kill me." Skye seemed to think for a minute, not saying or doing anything.
"You're right.... He'd want to kill you himself. Now get up." She stated, pulling him off the ground with ease. He stood but hunched, holding his crotch. My sister dragged him out of the room, probably taking him to the prison cells. I waited here so she wouldn't have to worry about Dylan getting attacked a fricken like fifth time, geez can we all just be left alone already. After a few minutes I heard another gunshot then Skye walked back in shortly after, looking annoyed.
"Fucking dumbass."
I slightly chuckled and asked, "What'd he do?"
"Continued breathing." She scoffed but added growling, "He tried running despite not having a dick anymore. So I shot him in the ankle where the bullet probably got stuck in the joint to cause more pain. Then a prison guard showed up to get him for me. I'm severely pissed off I missed arteries with both shots, I want to watch him bleed out and die." I just stood, still unable to get over how sadistically murderous she apparently is.
"Well.... Glad you're on my side..." I said a little quietly, not wanting to piss her off somehow. She chuckled and sat down in her usual spot next to Dylan. Then I noticed the extra bed in here, but didn't bring it up. "So why did you call him dumb? If there's any defined reason for it." I questioned, pulling up a chair next to her.
"Cause this fricken ass is taking so damn long to wake the hell up." She huffed, glaring at Dylan.
"How long did it take you to wake up from your almost death coma?"
"Like three days." My sister grumbled.
"And how long has he been down for?" I continued, raising a brow a little.
Skye huffed and crossed her arms as she leaned back in her chair, growling, "a day."
"Sooo, give him time. He'll wake up. You know he will. Have you tried mind linking him?"
"Yeah. It's only worked twice and the second time was cause of—.. Nevermind I can't tell you. Either way though he's blocked me out so some friggin idiots don't think I'm almost dying again." She answered, sounding very frustrated. She sighed then added, changing the subject, "Anyways you should go report to the boss that your mission is complete. Good job by the way, even I didn't catch on to the fact that he changed his appearance to look like us to make his lie more believable. Which made him tell the truth.. You're gonna be a great spy." I smiled and thanked her as I stood to leave the room, ignoring the fact she made it sound like there's people watching over Dylan. "Oh, and leave this for him to run DNA tests on. To see if that zounderkite was actually telling the truth." She added before I made it to the door, holding out the dagger she used on him that was covered in his blood.
"Okay," I said as I took it from her, wondering how to hold it my entire way to boss's office. I wandered around the many hallways, remembering which way the offices were and eventually reached them, thankfully not getting lost.
Someone randomly stopped me and said, "Boss needs to see you." Kay wow thanks I know, didn't know it was any of your goddamn business but whatever. I gave a tiny nod and went into boss' room, closing the door behind me. I sat in front of the screen and saw his blob appear on screen as usual. "I was told I need to tell you I completed my mission." I said, trying to sound confident.
"Good, I was told it had to do with who was attacking you before. The one who put one of my best agents in the hospital." He stated, sounding pissed at the end.
I nodded and replied, "Yes sir, it was Phillip. Skye ended up killing him, again... After I told her he's not actually our real father, then learned he is... Then locked him in jail just in case. Oh and she said to leave this for you to do a DNA test to see if he was our biological father." Boss dipped his head in a nod as I left the blade on the small table in front of the screen.
"Nicely done Agent Rose. Good job on a speedy completion as well. I want you to start training with Agent Fox on coming up with different persona's and when she says you're ready I shall give you your first undercover mission." He told me, excitement filling my body.
I kept a straight face and responded, "Yes sir. Agent out." I copied what my sister does then once the screen went black I left the room. I made my way back to where Skye and Dylan were but ran into Lily a little ways away from his room. I gave her a suspicious look, eyeing her up and down trying to determine if it's the real her or not.
She looked very confused and asked, "What's wrong?" I couldn't come up with the words to answer so I just somewhat rudely walked into Dylan's room. Skye gave her friend the same suspicious look I had, causing her friend to roll her eyes and repeat, "What's wrong? Is there something on my face or somethin?"
"What's my favorite word?" Skye asked randomly.
"The F word, ice cream or eff-ing ice cream." Lily answered, probably taken aback by the random question.
"What's something only you would know about me?" Skye questioned, clearly trying to prove Lily is in fact Lily this time.
"You hide things you're embarrassed about in your underwear drawer."
I raised a brow at Skye as if to ask if that were true, she seemed to relax and said, "Okay good, you are you."
Lily looked as confused as ever and questioned, "What on earth are you talking about?"
"Our good ole jackass Philly decided to pretend to be you earlier and almost fucked us over. Luckily there's two of us that very much so hate him. I just hope we don't have to go all Supernatural on his ass and fricken soak his remains in lighter fluid and salt and shit and burn him in a grave. Too much damn work for an asshole who doesn't deserve that much of someone's time. Though it would be quite fun..." Skye answered, momentarily drifting to fantasy land at the end.
"Wait. What kind of things embarrass you so much you need to hide them in your underwear drawer?" I asked, realizing what Lily had said.
My sister slightly, visibly tensed then growled, "Shut the fuck up. You never heard a damn thing about that."
