"SILAS! RAAAAA!" Anakin suddenly did a deafening battle cry as a powerful force exerted from him and toward the sky, cracking the air around him.
Abruptly everything around Anakin shattered, as he found himself back in the real world with Silas standing in front of him with a nosebleed.
"As expected, you broke out…" Silas bitterly chuckled, he anticipated this happening, but it nonetheless slightly injured him.
Anakin growled, "What.Is.Your.Problem."
Each word he said had an intense rage behind it.
..
Until suddenly a knuckle enveloped Anakin's vision as Silas's fist briskly slammed into his face.
Anakin was sent tumbling onto his back as he grunted, before glaring at Silas and spitting out blood, "So is this how you wanna play it?"
Silas smirked, unbothered by Anakin's rage, "I'd rather avoid going such a brutish way of teaching you, but it seems you're in need of a beating."
Anakin ignored his words and just lunged at Silas, his eyes were a dark shade as his speed and strength were drastically increased compared to before.
Silas seemed unamused as he watched Anakin's crude lunge, as he himself simply side-stepped in anticipation and dug his knee into Anakin's gut, causing him to cough out air and stagger backwards.
Anakin wiped his hand over his mouth as he swiftly stood back up with cold eyes.
Silas shook his head in disappointment, "You have all this power, but you still let your anger stand in your way. It doesn't matter if you're currently more powerful than me, if you lack control, I can easily predict where you're coming from and handle you efficiently."
It seemed he was still being ignored as Anakin dashed toward him and threw a jab.
Silas shook his head helplessly as he had already tilted his head to the left slightly and used his opposite hand to grab Anakin's face, forcefully crashing him into the ground.
"Agh!-" Anakin couldn't help but grunt in pain, before briskly standing back up as he stopped trying to fight Silas in hand to hand.
Extending his hand forward in one motion, a powerful force exerted out of it.
But Silas was ready as he copied his movement, with his hand extended.
Translucent bodies of energy could be seen clashing as they pushed back and forth, trying to gain the upper hand.
Silas's smile was turning sadistic as his own eyes started turning a dark shade while he was tapping into the dark side in order to match Anakin.
This force of clash continued for a few more seconds, until a powerful shockwave exploded from their clash.
Crack!
Smash!
Shattering the outside glass surrounding them, both of them were sent flying back into the walls with a loud bam.
Groaning in pain, they staggered back up as Anakin had a cold yet rage filled expression, while Silas seemed to be smiling in delight at battle.
Rather then use the force again, they both charged toward each other.
"Give me your best shot!" Silas goaded.
Anakin then darted toward Silas as their palms clashed with a loud bam.
Their fists incidentally clasped, as they continued to clash, pushing against the other, in a test of strength.
They continued to struggle, until Silas started to notice his fist slowly getting bent backward, feeling it getting crushed.
He narrowed his eyes, 'It seems he outclasses me in terms of overall strength, but I beat him when it comes to speed/agility...'
Concluding his thoughts he kicked a foot forward toward Anakin's stomach, but it seemed his movement was noticed as Anakin released his grip and took a step back, promptly dodging it.
They stood in silence while sizing the other one up, Anakin had a grim expression, while Silas had face that was practically oozing confidence.
"Ah, that kinda hurt..." Silas amusedly chuckled as he rattled his hands, which seemed to be in pain.
Anakin seemed to have not cared, as he approached Silas with his fists raised.
"So that's how you wanna play it huh?" Silas muttered, casually raising his hands up as he did some light jumps in fervor.
Without waiting, they then engaged in hand to hand combat.
Anakin threw a straight punch, causing Silas side step it.
Until suddenly, it seemed it was just a feint as he did a cross with his opposite hand.
Silas's eyes narrowed as he narrowly dodged it.
'His skills are becoming more controlled, he's doing it…' Silas smirked proudly as he watched Anakin's progress.
And while he was still winning, he noticed Anakin was slowly controlling his swings more fluidly, giving him more of a challenge as Anakin's hand to hand training came into play.
They both constantly blocked and parried each others fists at inhumane speeds as Anakin slowly backed up while being pummeled with the occasional fist that slipped through his defense, showing Silas's superiority in hand-to-hand combat.
Suddenly Silas did a sweeping kick, forcing Anakin off his fee as he fell in the air, but before he fell, Silas sent him one last kick.
Effectively hitting his chest as he was sent tumbling a few meters away, gaining his balance as he slid on the ground.
Anakin practically snarled as he glared at Silas and quickly ran toward him.
They then continued to fight countless times, and through out the fight, Silas sensed Anakin's once rampant killing intent, was slowly disappearing as he understood Silas's intentions.
And after over 30 minutes of non-stop fighting, they finally stopped.
Currently Anakin was sprawled out on the ground breathing heavily as Silas himself was sitting down crouched on the wall, his chest slightly heaving up and down for oxygen, faring much better than Anakin.
Silas's eyes lingered upon Anakin weary figure, 'If it was a lightsaber duel it would have been a much closer battle, luckily I had taken them away.'
The entire fight wasn't something Silas wouldn't considered difficult as Anakin hadn't gotten a punch in at all, nevertheless it was a bit tiring.
Even so, without even saying a word, Anakin abruptly stood up and headed toward the exit, remaining silent as he approached the door.
But his figure halted as a hand on his shoulder stopped him.
Silas firmly held it as he spoke, "I know what I hurt you, but I can't let you leave with the way your emotions are currently, your bound to do something you'll regret."
Silas waited in silence as he could virtually feel the fuming anger radiating off Anakin's body as he stood still.
Anakin didn't glance back as he clenched his fists tightly, genuinely considering on forcing his way out.
However after a few seconds of silence, he couldn't help but sigh in resignation as he relaxed his hands, he wasn't sure if it was because he was exhausted, but he didn't feel like fighting, and deep down he knew Silas was right.
Finally glancing back, he simply decided to walk back in and slide down to the ground with his back on the wall, with Silas following him and sitting beside him.
Eventually after the tense silence, Anakin spoke.
"Was that really necessary?" He huffed with apparent anger in his voice.
Silas had a knowing smile on his face, without an inch of regret on his expression, "Anakin, your power is far greater than you realize, many people will come to either fear you or respect you."
"And they will make decisions based off those emotions that will anger you, but you must learn how to be aware of your anger and how to direct it or manage it, similar to how I do."
Anakin exhaled a cool breath, and looked at the roof with a gaze of uncertainty, "So which side of the coin do you fall on?"
Silas had a small smile as he answered, "Neither."
Anakin raised a brow, indicating for him to continue.
"I don't fear you because I know you have the potential to control your power with a little bit of guidance, and I don't respect you because you've done nothing that deserves my respect."
A small smile came to Anakin's lips once hearing his words.
"I see."
He seemed to want to say more, as he suddenly asked.
"Can you do it again?"
Silas raised a brow at the request, but realizes his intentions as he
nodded and grabbed Anakin's head without hesitation.
Anakin closed his eyes as he didn't resist this time, feeling Silas's calm force envelop his brain, it slowly drove him deep into his subconscious
Once his eyes opened up, he reappeared back with his mother in his hands.
"Hey mom." He smiled calmly, as his heart raced with a flurry of emotions.
"Ani?"
Anakin smiled while careering his mothers face, "I love you so much mom, and I promise I'll make you proud."
Her eyes barely widen as she smiled, "My sweet Ani, I'm already so proud of you..."
His mother's throat seemed to be closing up but she pressed on.
"I lov-..."
Her voice broke out, but she continued.
"I love y-... I love you."
Her smile widened as she finally finished her words.
Anakin's expression faltered with sadness but he quickly hid it with a loving one, "I love you too mom, you can rest now..."
He watched as she slowly fell back with a smile, he gave her head support as he lowered her.
Anakin put his hand above her eyes and closed them, but deep within his own eyes, was brimming determination.
And soon after he closed his eyes, before re-opening them as he was back in the real world.
"Thanks."
Silas nodded, "That's what friends are for, regardless of how you feel, I'll always point you to the right direction, regardless if you hate me or love me."
Anakin's sat in silence once absorbing his words, and all of a sudden he sighed wistfully, "You know at first, I thought I would always have my mom with me, but when she died, it made me realize I was naïve and weak..."
He glanced toward Silas as he continued, "I need to learn to control my powers better so I can make sure such a thing won't happen to Padme or anyone I care about, for as long as I live, and I'll need your help with that..." He then exhaled a calm breath again, "My mom is gone, but I need to keep moving forward and make her proud."
Silas smirked as he playfully jabbed at his shoulder, "That's the spirit!"
He then nonchalantly added,
"Well anyways, if your fine with it, we'll continue training similar to that, but I won't bring up memories, as I think that was enough for you, so for the next month or so, until we deploy, we'll be busy."
Anakin nodded firmly as their was no more doubt in his eyes, "Even if it was fake, I still got a chance to properly say goodbye to my mom..."
His expression soon became determined as he added, "So all I need is self awareness and some self control?…. Sounds easy." He bitterly chuckled, as those were two things he lacked.
Silas rolled his eyes as they both stood up and went to exit the trashed training room.
"You ever try Colo Claw Fish?" Anakin asked as they walked side by side in the hallways.
Silas shook his head, indicating no.
"Well today is gonna be your first day." He smiled as he then glanced around, before quietly whispering, "Oh and by the way, we're leaving tomorrow for the wedding."
Silas nodded, "Mhm.", even though it was a bit abrupt, he was genuinely happy for him as he could feel the excitement gleaming off him.
Anakin then glanced down toward his palms as he spoke, "Y'know, now that I think about it, I feel stronger… Not physically, but rather mentally. What type of training session was that? I feel like a brand new person, haha!" Anakin laughed as he tapped Silas's shoulder in a friendly manner.
It felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders, as he was finally allowed closure.
