Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Next To Personal Ship, Lothal)~~~

Well, that didn't go the way I thought it would.

"Is it just me, or did that not make any sense at all."

Nella is the first voice I hear as she's standing up. I follow suit and do the same. I look over and see SCORPIO on the ground. I walk over and give her my hand. She looks at it and at me. Instead of taking it, she smacks it away and stands up on her own.

I ignore the rude gesture and look toward where the village is supposed to be. It's not here. Whoever that woman was, she was connected to The Ones. I don't know how.

I couldn't see into her mind.

"What now."

SCORPIO is standing next to me as Nella makes her way over. The droid brings up a good question. The village elder said I'll have to find out myself.

"It's time I did this the old-fashioned way."

I close my eyes and spread out my senses. The Force reaches across the world of Lothal, and I breathe as I feel every life. How few there actually are on this world... Lothal is such a lonely place.

I'm sinking deeper into The Force as time passes. More is being revealed to me. Times when Lothal wasn't a dry wasteland. But a world with life and people. A civilization. It looks old and predates anything that I'd know about Star Wars.

The history of Lothal is playing before me. I focus on what I'm looking for. The Ones, or anywhere that'd lead me to them. I'm thrust through and shown an old temple. Buried under rock, sand, and dirt. I'm shown the Loth Wolves.

All of them dying out. Guarding the temple till the last of them.

I'm thrown back to where I'm standing with SCORPIO and Nella. I look at the ground as sound slowly returns. Cracks are spreading through the land.

I look to see Nella and SCORPIO have separated themselves from me.

"Sorry about that. Sometimes, I dive a little too deep."

SCORPIO squints her eyes in frustration, and Nella rolls her own.

The Force showed me what I was looking for. The Jedi Temple. I don't know how old it is or how old the things I saw were. But I'm guessing it was before the time of The Republic and Tython.

"Do you know where to go?"

Nella asks me the golden question, and The Force is telling me to head East.

"We're heading East."

Since SCORPIO and Nella won't be able to keep up with me, we'll take the speeder bikes. SCORPIO gets them out, and we start moving East.

Nella is following close behind, and SCORPIO is next to me.

"Should I expect a fight where we're going?"

The way SCORPIO talks is a matter-of-fact or statement type of way. Even when it is a question, she'll be a help if there is a fight. But I don't sense one.

"I don't sense a fight on the horizon. But there are a lot of things we're messing with here that even I don't understand."

Being the Son of Abeloth complicates things when dealing with ancient artifacts concerning The Ones. They're some of the oldest beings in existence.

"If the odds are overwhelming, I will not hesitate to retreat. I've come to learn that people you're connected to are the most dangerous. Beings I can't harm even if I tried."

I can respect the need for self-preservation.

We travel for a few hours, and I can feel we're getting very close. Soon, I have all of us get off our speeder bikes. I walk a little ahead, and I feel that the temple we're here for is buried beneath the ground.

Nella stands next to me as SCORPIO stands back.

"I can feel something here. It's faint."

To her, it's faint. To me, it's screaming.

I lower my hand and open it. Using The Force to spread the dirt, sand, and dust. Pulling and lifting the temple from the ground as I do.

Slowly, the massive temple raises from the bowels of the Lothal desert. It takes a while, but I get it all out. It's nothing that I've ever seen before. It's larger than the temple on Coruscant by several times.

"We're supposed to go in there?"

I understand Nella's fear. I sense danger in these walls too.
