"Patriarch, it is a boy!" the maid bowed respectfully to the person opposite to her. She was very afraid to tell the person about the madam's condition.

He was tall around 190 cm and had a strong and burly body. His long blue hair tied on his back with a gold pin. His blue eyes are intimidating. He wore a long blue jacket on his body.

"Is the lady safe?" he asked and without waiting for a reply he walked into the room.

There was a beautiful lady with black hair and black eyes lying on the bed exhausted. Her face was very pale. She opened her eyes weakly when her husband came. She opened her mouth with difficulty.

"Leo, take good care of Max and other 2 children." as she named the newborn child

The man named Leonhardt looked at his wife with a pained look in his eyes and tried to speak but could not get himself to open his mouth out of grief.

The lady looked at him and smiled with tears in her eyes knowing her life has come to an end

"Meeting you was the best thing in my life Leo. I hope you can take care of yourself after I leave."

Leonhardt looked at her held her hands and smiled reluctantly holding back his tears as he saw her closing her eyes.

"Me too Elora, Me too." He kissed her gently on her forehead and stood up with his back facing her and left without taking a look at his child.

Meanwhile the child was watching all this with a look that was not possible for a newborn baby to have.

SEVEN YEARS LATER.

On a hundred meter tall mountain, a boy of 7 years old is doing pushups. If anyone saw those movements they would think of him as weird person as those techniques do not belong to this world. The boy got up and wiped the sweat on his forehead.

He had short black hair and pitch black eyes that was like a vortex, if you look into those eyes you will feel like being swallowed into an abyss. He still had a trace of chubby baby fat on his face. He wore plain and neat clothes that were soaked wet due to exercise.

Thinking back to 7 years ago, he still could not believe what happened to him was real whether to believe this was all a dream.

Yes, he is Max. After death his soul traveled to this continent and he was reincarnated as Max Miller. Ever since the day he was born he knew this was a whole different world. People here have superpowers that was not possible in his previous life.

During this 7 years his father never visited him. He exercised daily and went to read books in the clan library. This continent is called Star spirit continent. There are people called star knights in this world. They have power to blast hills and mountains. These people absorb the star power to cultivate.

The star knights are ranked from

'Rank 1 to Rank 9' from low to high.

Each rank is divided into four stages

'Initial, Intermediate, Advanced, Peak.'

People are awakened when they are seven years old. Some people awaken the star power while those who do not awaken star power live an ordinary life. Every awakening is accompanied by a natal spirit.

The potential of a Star Knight is measured with bloodline concentration from 'one star to nine star' corresponding to 9 Ranks of Star knights.

Bloodline Potential not only represent potential, but also a Star Knight's shackle.

Suppose a Star Knight has seven-star bloodline , it means he will definitely reach the stage of Rank 7 Star Knight if he cultivates properly. But it also means that the maximum stage that he can reach is Rank 7.

But not everyone is bound by those shackles, some people reach higher stages of Star Knight than their bloodline concentration. Those people are called geniuses.

But every nine-star bloodline user has a definite chance to reach Rank 9 Star Knight.

He entered the house and took a bath and wore clothes that are neither too plain nor extraordinary. The robes were blue long with a lion pattern on it.

"Master Max, please go to the awakening hall everyone is undergoing the ceremony for awakening."

A maid came to Max hurriedly. Her name was Rin. She previously followed Max's mother. She helps Max bring his food daily. The remaining housework, Max does it himself as he was not used to others doing his chores in his world.

"I will go, you can leave."

Max replied with an indifferent smile on his space. He was quite grateful for this maid who helps him as she was not obliged just because he was his mother's son.

He walked towards the awakening hall.

He saw the awakening hall was crowded with a lot of children queued up in line for awakening.

Parents were not allowed near the awakening hall.

An old man with white hair and black glasses was standing in the center beside a blue lotus seat and a 10 m tall stele.

"Everyone stand in the line and each person will come and sit in this seat to awaken their star power and natal weapon and then place their hand on the stele to measure the bloodline quality."

The first boy in the line came forward and sat on the lotus.

A circular rune with dark blue lines projected from his eyebrows. The rune had an axe pattern on it. As the rune submerged back into his eyebrows without any change, a silvery gray axe with lion symbol on its one side of the head while sharp axe-head on the other side of the head with the handle half meter long and a pointed tip appeared from his right hand. The boy was very excited.

The old man asked him to touch the stele.

The boy put his hands on the black stele when the stele had five stars lightened up

"Lightning attribute, Desolate Lion Axe-Five star bloodline." The old man signaled him to go back

Another boy arrived and sat on the lotus and tested his bloodline on the stele.

"Lightning attribute, Desolate Lion Axe-Four star bloodline."

Everyone successively awakened their star power.

"Next." the old man signaled the next person to sit on the seat.

It was a cute girl with blonde hair ties into a ponytail and blue eyes. She sat on the lotus platform when a rune with silver lines flashed from her eyebrows and projected in front of her. The rune had a scepter pattern on it. As the rune sank back into her eyebrows and disappeared, a silver scepter with white wing pattern on the top and gorgeous gems laid on it emitting white holy light appeared in her hand.

The old man's eyes flashed with joy and then he calmed down and questioned her.

"Child, what is your natal spirit?"

"Grandpa, it seems to be called Purification Scepter." She naively responded.

The old man motioned her to put hands on the stele. The stele flashed with six stars as she laid hand on it.

'Support type Star Knights are rare and a bloodline potential with six stars combined can guarantee a Rank 6 star Support Star Knight when she grows up.'
