Chapter 42 - Mage - Adrian

Without too much time passing, Eldan asked about the Land of Adenlia to a man with glasses standing beside him, and the man started talking. His voice turned positive as he started talking about the Land of Adenlia.

The subordinate of Eldan continued, "From what we've gathered, the Land of Adenlia seems to be a well-run settlement. They've been trading with Black Copper Town regularly and haven't caused any trouble for the locals. However, we have heard rumors that the owner, Adrian, is quite ambitious and has been expanding his territory and manpower."

Eldan leaned back in his chair and stroked his beard, contemplating the information. "I see. Well, it's good to know they're not causing any problems for now. But we should keep an eye on them, just in case. And we'll need an updated map of Zone 3 that includes the Land of Adenlia's borders."

The subordinate nodded and said, "Of course, sir." "I'll have our cartographers work on it right away."

Eldan smiled and said, "Excellent. We need to stay vigilant and make sure the kingdom's interests are protected." He then went back to studying his papers, feeling satisfied that he had taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety and prosperity of the kingdom.

Eldan's eyes widen as he hears the news. "Adrian, you say? I've heard of him. He's quite the strategist and has been making a name for himself in the region," he says, stroking his chin thoughtfully.

He leans forward in his chair, looking intently at his subordinate. "I want you to find out everything you can about Adrian and his operations in the Land of Adenlia. I want to know his strengths, weaknesses, and any potential threats he may pose to the Hope Kingdom."

The subordinate nods, scribbling notes furiously. "Yes, sir. I'll get right on it."

Eldan leans back in his chair, lost in thought. "This could be a game-changer," he murmurs to himself. "If Adrian is as powerful as they say, he could be a valuable ally... or a dangerous enemy."
