I'll put skills like this <<Skill>> from now on.

Humans always liked games and entertainment no matter what age or era they live in. And they liked it even more after the era of electronic games.
Humans didn't stop after their achievement because this was like a new door open for them and awakened something that allowed humans to develop all those years... Curiosity.
They worked much harder and discovered new things every day and refined their knowledge until now... November 6, 2022, Sunday.
The first-ever VRMMORPG started today bringing a whole new challenge for the player and a completely different experience that... They'll never forget.
The first day of SAO, a game that changed the history of the gaming industry and it did like no other game ever did... By becoming a prison for its players.
Humans always had a wild imagination in their creativity and thoughts. As an example, all those horror movies and stories they make, but no matter how the story is scary it will always be a story and they'll laugh after it finish and keep it as a memory.
However, if one-day those fantasies turned real, and the human had to face one of those situations, what'll happen? Actually, no matter what happens, it'll never be a pleasant experience.
And this is what SAO players facing now. The fantasy of them getting trapped inside of a game turned into a reality with no easy way of escaping.
Players kept panicking and screaming for hours to the GM, be it begging cries for letting them out from this game or a bunch of curses filled with anger and rage.
Even at this moment, people still didn't completely believe in Kayaba words and kept hanging with that thread of hope called Kayaba is just joking.
But after hours of waiting, Kayaba didn't appear again or any other announcement happened, which made these players realize that they are really trapped inside.
Cries, yells, sobs, curses, screams. All these sounds filled the starting town with every player refuse to accept this reality and attempting to escape. Although it didn't happen a lot, but... Players in these hours started to attempt suicides in public to escape the game, making the situation even worse with players panicking even more or some having the same idea in their heads.
And these ideas grew more when the players realized that the outside world wasn't able to do anything until now to help them.
Players still can't adapt to the change in the situation, much less trying to do the correct choice and try to beat this game. However, like the humans aren't born equal, some players with determined will, hurried outside the town to get the advantage of the resources like rare items and easy but rewarding tasks first.
But even some of those players fall to their mistakes and lost their lives in the wild after they met some unexpected situations.
Those players that dared to risk it learned their lesson the hard after they discovered some of their informations are wrong and that slight mistake was able to take their lives.
All the players had a different reaction to SAO start from panicking completely to calmly dealing with the situation to even not caring the slightest.
Now it's midnight, the night brought some calm to SAO with the bright moon hanging up the sky and stars shining in the dark sky, and with the fantasy scenery of Aincrad, this scene turned more beautiful than ever. But not all players had time to admire this scene.
Most of the players went to inns to sleep and calm themselves out while praying this's just a nightmare and they'll wake up from it soon.
In the next town of the first floor, there was a person in the category of not caring about SAO. The man had blond hair and strong build with eyes that put a chill into anyone.
The man was walking in the forest next to the town slowly while looking at the bright moon and humming a song with a smile on his face.
<The night in Aincrad is very beautiful, I have to give Kayaba credit for this. And what makes it better is the peace and quiet in my mind now> Akashi(DIO) walked in the dark forest calmly with a smile on his face.
<You were right, stupid arrow. You can't start a battle without a reason, but guess what? You also can't participate in a battle if you don't know its reason> Akashi(DIO) grinned while feeling the night wind blowing.
Akashi(DIO) was fighting for the poses at first, but after a while, he had another goal more important than poses... Making that arrow shut up.
The arrow never stopped bothering Akashi from the day they talked about stands and kept annoying him no matter what he did.
Akashi tired a lot of ways to make this arrow shut up. From throwing him in a volcano in the training ground to sending him to space just to see if he'll lose the ability to think. But all Akashi's efforts were pointless with the arrow coming back with more preach about poses even if Akashi left him in the training ground alone he'll come back from there instantly, making Akashi feeling helpless.
And it got even worse with the arrow taking the voice of Joseph Joestar and getting corrupted by all those knowledges in Akashi's head.
Akashi never had a calm and peaceful day from those times, but today things changed.
<Do you think I'll not know about you can sense the stand that you gave me? Please, do you think I'm stupid... Now, you wasted a lot of energy trying to reach me here and break my barriers multiple times and because of the plan... You are now in a slumber to gather energy> Akashi(DIO) though while feeling he can't connect to the arrow because he's now completely in a slumber before his grin turned evil.
<You were a very strong opponent. I lost a lot during this battle and faced with some cruel fate, even my throat still hurting from that wryy, but... Luck has sided with me in the end and I, Akashi, DIO, is the winner> Akashi(DIO) touched his throat while smiling.
Akashi(DIO) knows that the arrow will surpass him because of his experience and wisdom. However, the arrow never expected that Akashi goal wasn't only poses, but him.
Akashi(DIO) understood if you want to end something you need to go to the source.
<I'm inexperienced, but like any other person, I can learn and get more knowledge and what better target from you. Although you tricked me by that hat, but fixing my hat will always be fixing my hat for me. And I want to see what can you do after you lose your ability to talk> Akashi(DIO) grinned while throwing a knife and killing a wolf sneaking behind him.
<You taught me a lot of things today, like how important the details are and especially that anything the opponent use can be used as a weapon on him> Akashi(DIO) grin grew wider while looking at his inner mind now.
Like the arrow always breaking through Akashi's mind to talk to him, Akashi learned how to control that place after observing the arrow for a long time. Akashi(DIO) now is sitting barriers and chains all over his inner space around the arrow making him losing the ability to talk with him and forcing him to return to the old silence arrow.
This wasn't going to be possible if the arrow kept his guard up and kept annoying Akashi for the poses, but now he's in a slumber that most likely for a whole year which allows Akashi to do anything he likes.
<Thank you for everything you taught me. I'll make sure to repay you during our long one-sided talks after this mission is over. And you have no idea how much I like to take silence as an answer> Akashi(DIO) thought while activating his SAO menu.
With this, the war of poses ended with both sides losing some and winning some, but from the casualties... Akashi won because just fixing the hat is acceptable for him while the arrow lost his ability to talk.
"Finally, I can focus on this game without that arrow... I even feel I'm ascending heaven just by this calm" Akashi(DIO) said before picking his inventory options and choosing to objective all his items.
With a blue glow, a pile of items dropped from nowhere and landed in front Akashi before he took it back but if someone checks Akashi inventory, he'll find that the knife he just thrown and some other ones were inside his inventory.
"Yeah, I should really thank that guy after this" Akashi(DIO) said while moving forward.
This one of the tricks that beta players discovered, and that guy told Akashi(DIO) after a few Muda's and only these tricks were reliable in his information while Akashi(DIO) didn't take information about mission and mobs that seriously because Kayaba changed things after the beta.
Opening his skills Akashi(DIO) looked that he only has few skills now which is <<Basic punch LVL 9>> <<Basic kick LVL 5>> <<Knife throwing LVL 7>> <<one-hand knife proficiency LVL 4>> <<Dash LVL 3>> <<Leap LVL 2>> <<Hiding LVL1>>.
Akashi(DIO) nodded while looking at his skills before moving forwards because of a quest he got from the city.
Akashi(DIO) got most of his skills from the new player original skills or after repeating the same action multiple times while <<Hiding>> skill was from a quest.
<Unlike normal players that need to sleep to keep in their best form... I, DIO, can keep going three days straight. After all, sleep is only for the weak> Akashi(DIO) thought while killing a boar in front of him with a punch.
Skills in SAO only represent the damage percent and the CD of the attacks while some skills have unique uses like <<Hiding>> that act like stealth, but these skills need to do quests to get them.
Akashi(DIO) now doing two quests. One for getting skill <<Reveal>> that allows him to detect hidden enemies or traps, and <<Hiding>> can make him completely silence after maxing it out while Akashi(DIO) is interested in a combination skill of <<one-hand knife proficiency>> and <<Hiding>> called <<Back stab>>.
"It's here" Akashi(DIO) said while walking towards the cabin in the forest because his next quest is there.
I just want to say that SAO progressive is the real deal. Unlike the original, that was like a clickbait this one was what I really expected from SAO... Do you know what? I'll just imagine Diavolo dying in the background and call it canon.
