The Most Boring Chase
"You're Ethan Hunt," Talia's eyes twinkled in the moonlight. The moment she mentioned the main character of the movie: Mission Impossible, she noticed his eyes brightening up.
"You have a motorbike with a pretty lady in the back, there is a helicopter, and a long road ahead of us although it has no traffic... Fred, you know you won't have another chance like this to realistically enact a helicopter chase."
She knew this will convince him to race through the road. She was someone who never put herself in risky environments. Her everyday life had enough risks with all the death threats she grew up with and she never gets involved with any extreme sports to get an adrenalin rush.
But that day, she felt like it. The secret Arthur revealed had a great part in it. She wanted to get past the hurt; to move on. She wanted the racing wind blowing on her face and the adrenalin rush to help her focus on future – their marriage.
"Hold on," Arthur said.
