Chapter 25 I'll Do It Myself

Despair welled up within him, a desire to weep without tears, a maelstrom of anger, sorrow, despair, and fear.

All these emotions crazily assaulted Yang Yi, rendering him momentarily dazed.

In a low voice, Kate said, "So if the mole isn't one of us, who is it?"

Yang Yi suddenly roared angrily, "Do I even need to ask? The Cicero Family! It's the Cicero Family!"

And then there's Ryan, Wells, Mr. Jones—didn't you see what kind of torture they went through? Except for Mr. Jones, they were all tortured to death, and they told everything. The car was hit, slammed on its left rear side by another vehicle that had rushed up from the rear.

Kadipur slammed on the steering wheel; the taxi, with its high center of gravity, miraculously didn't roll over.

"They're here!"

Kadipur exclaimed.

The car stopped in the middle of the road, and three vehicles formed a '品' shape, targeting the front of Yang Yi's car.

Immediately afterward, four people got out of the car and rushed towards them swiftly.

Yang Yi, who had been thrown against Daniel, didn't suffer a severe collision. Instinctively, he aimed to shoot at the four approaching men, but when he raised his hand, he found the gun was being held by someone else.

Daniel was gripping the pistol in Yang Yi's hand with both hands.

"Let go!"

Yang Yi bellowed, but Daniel had already snatched the pistol from his grip, then raised the gun with both hands in a rapid motion.

Someone shattered the car window with a strike and reached in to grab Yang Yi, while the other hand tried to open the door from the inside.

Daniel roared angrily and then pulled the trigger.

"Don't kill me!"

The gunshot rang out right next to Yang Yi's ear. The person who had reached for him fell atop the car and quickly slid off.

Yang Yi's ears suddenly couldn't hear anything, while Daniel quickly turned around and fired two shots at the person who had grabbed his arm.

Kadipur restarted the car and swiftly reversed, trying to escape. Meanwhile, the ones trying to capture them alive finally pulled out their pistols and continuously fired at the taxi.

Kadipur was a skilled driver; the taxi frantically fled, quickly leaving a few vehicles behind.

Daniel, holding the pistol, waved it around as he yelled, "Don't kill me, don't kill me! Don't kill me!"

Yang Yi yelled, "Put down the gun!"

Daniel suddenly stopped waving the pistol and said in a devastated tone, "Don't kill me, please don't kill me, I'm sorry, I owe you an apology, I'll do it myself..."

Daniel murmured a few words to himself, then suddenly flipped the pistol, shoved the barrel into his own mouth, and pulled the trigger.
