Raegan, a continent filled with cultivators, is the home to the man who once taught cultivation to 'Humans'.

Or so i thought... My killer then messed with the wrong guy and got tortured until he lost his mind.

I was disappointed because i did not get satisfaction from it as i did nothing... Although his agonising face did please me.

Shit! I have not yet even started my plan! Yet you dare to die like that!

Bullshit! Just what was my life. Even now luck still evades me.

Fuck! I do have no dissatisfaction and satisfaction while i lived my life here.

Im a pretty mediocre guy who sells hunted animals for a living.

Unfit to be in the Empire's Forces.

Unfit to be a man who takes a womans hand due to my mediocre appearance.

What was the point? Why was i ever born from this world?

As Yu Fen strayed away from the premises of the Emperial Village, he realises that his soul had no attachments in that city and has thus started to walk endlessly and tirelessly.

Years passed by and he still is wandering.

And by chance, a Fate-Changing Event would happen to him.

To what seemed like untouched vegetations. There stood a ruin with peculiar carvings.

And because Yu Fen was a ghost. he felt safe behind his Astral Body.

A body which had no legs but could float or fly.

A body which had transparent features.

Indeed if he is seen, he would be branded as a Ghost.

"Ugh! I dont want that to happen!" As he shooks when he imagined what would happen if he was exorcised.

"Anyway, whats this? This has not been in the books i have read from the library... A new discovery? By me?!" Yu Fen dances in excitement.

He takes a float forward and checks the sorroundings.

[An opening of a door contraption.]

"Did it sense me? No way, im a Ghost after all. How would an Ancient Ruin know im here?" As Yu Fen assures himself.

Yu Fen then explored the now opened up room and was surprised by the huge amounts of books it had.

The books amounted in thousands... No! It definitely amounted in Tens of Thousands!

Yu Fen was ecstatic.

But with an Unimproving Body, all physical techniques would prove useless to practice.

The reason why he said that? Well he found body tempering books whose colours were Yellow which meant it was a Master Class Book.

Q/E:

Blue = Normal Class

Violet = Mid Class

Red = High Class

Yellow = Master Class

And even though he had no hope in learning techniques such as body tempering techniques.

He did have a bleak hope of learning Formation & Magical Techniques.

And with that, a year long journey of reading books was started by Yu Fen.

"First lets start with this... {Basic Barrier Formation} huh? Well this seems like its for kids so... Why not?"

It took Yu Fen 2 Hours to read the whole book.

And he has started to test out his new found knowledge. (Fun Fact at the end!)

"Okay so first if i remember correctly... I can place atleast 3 rocks for the foundation of the barrier, and then... Place them in a triangular shape."

[Puts the stone in position]

"Okay then... Next, i can just use anything as sacrifice for the barrier right?

Maybe... I could just use those Body-Tempering Techniques...

Nah they might prove useful to me later on,

Okay... Ill use this(Basic Barrier Formation) then."

Fwook.

As Yu Fen threw the book.

He ready's himself.

And when the book hit the ground Yu Fen the chanted. {Basic Barrier! Formation Type!} .

And with that the barrier was erected whilst the book slowly burned.

"Huh

It seems like it really feeds off-of knowledge if the sacrifice is a book, while it would burn one's 'Energy Frame' If the sacrifice is a human."

Q/E:

Energy Frame = Or chakra if it came from Naruto.

-hm, the barrier lasted for 30 minutes... And well, considering that-that book was Normal Class, it's a bargain!-

"Although i still worry of its durability... No use worrying right? Not like i would use this anyways." And thats where i fuck*n set up a flag.

Fun Fact: Ghost Yu Fen has better memory due to a unstressed astral body. And has thus improved his ability to read and comprehend the subject he's reading.
