(1.) The Beginning (Ava’s POV)

It was just another normal day, I woke up saw Astrid on the floor, again. It always happens this way, I wake up at 6:00 am, when school starts at 9:00 am, go downstairs to make a whole stack of pancakes for my sister to scarf down and as soon as she smells the whip cream its all legs, and on those other days when she doesn't wake up its usually a can of spray ink in the face. We've been at our foster home for about a month now, so Mr. & Mrs. Squidish has gotten used to me making the food around here. I start whispering to myself 3, 2, 1, and then I hear footsteps, here she comes get ready and go, the pancakes are gone in a flash. "I swear you have mental problems" I sighed while rolling my eyes. "don't you think I figured that out?" She smirked being herself in every single funny rebel way. I just shrugged while laughing. Ever since we can remember we've had only one earring, our uncle Captain n' Cuttlefish told us our mom and her sister left it for us and for all we know is that they we're famous but gone missing.

THREE HOURS LATER...

"Hurry up shortie!" my very obnoxious sister yelled at me from like 3 miles away. Even though I was a couple yards away I tried to swim in my ink as fast as I could, when we finally got to inkling Academy, that is where we always meet up with our best friend, Mason. Today was the big Exam, for my favorite and best subject Rainmaker, Me and Astrid are going against 3 random selected inklings because everyone knows you can't keep us apart.

(Astrid's POV)

I turned to my sis and she said "try flanking your enemies, then move in for the krill" I looked at her a seriously look and said with a smirk "You just couldn't kelp yourself, could you," we laughed and swam through our teams ink and splatted the first two squids with no problem one of them happen to be Mason he gave us the why me look, my obviously not shocked sister kicked the dead squids and watched as they responded with a "I will get my revenge!" Ava was using her favorite weapon her only main the star splatter, its a charger thats as fast as a bamboozler has as much range as an E-liter and its special is the rainmaker. She actually invented it . Ava grabbed the rainmaker and started her magic, after I sat back and relaxed while watching her get the whole other team in one shot, I then started to have some fun and killed them all out of nowhere once they re-spawned and jumped to splat my sis. I always felt like when we protect Ava while she has the rainmaker its like trying to protect the Queen of Inkopolis. But compared to reality it looks like were just regular teenagers whipping up some chocolate inkshakes. After a short rainmaker battle, when you have my sister Aka The Sniper on your rainmaker team you'll never lose. I don't think Ava has lost a single rainmaker battle in her life when she has the rainmaker. Me and Ava haven't been splatted barely at all in any games in our life and your percentage of winning on Rainmaker against her is well....%0.00. Ava gets her nickname, The Sniper because she is the queen of snipers\chargers, but really were just good at everything and I'm just being humble here, I mean every inkling says it. Its probably because were the daughters of some famous squids or octo king maybe both, but we never got to meet them. The only real connection to our family is our great-grandfather cap n' cuttlefish, he visits us every Sunday and tells us all about our mother and our family, and he never tells who are so-called famous family is or how old he is, he's probably like super super old, of course. We really love gramps we both agree he reminds us of ink mc duck, from our favorite cartoon ink-tales.
