Trash Rohen

In the newly established Azure Cloud Sect, classified as a low-level third-level class sect, Rohen's journey as a disciple began at the tender age of seven when he was abandoned near its gates, his past memories lost to the world. Now, after almost five years within the sect, he had yet to ascend to the ranks of an outer disciple.

To achieve the coveted status of an outer core disciple, one must reach the Awake Spirit Level Seven, a feat that seemed unattainable for Rohen. Despite his dedication and hard work, he remained stuck at Awake Spirit Level Two, showing no signs of improvement.

The life of a disciple within the Azure Cloud Sect was challenging, and survival depended on paying credits for everything - from food and living arrangements to the cultivation skills, artifacts, and access to spiritual caves where the dense spiritual energy could be harnessed for cultivation.

With no means to pay for his needs, Rohen worked diligently as a daily sweeper within the sect, earning meager credits just enough to sustain his basic necessities. But the road to becoming an outer disciple was much steeper than he anticipated.

To accumulate more credits, Rohen had to complete quests assigned by the sect's elders. However, being at the lower rungs of spiritual awakening, these quests were often challenging, pushing him to his limits. Still, he persevered, his unwavering determination shining through his seemingly insignificant status.

Within the Azure Cloud Sect, advancement was marked by the awakening of one's spirit. Only at Awake Spirit Level One could a disciple begin to establish a connection with one of the spirits, the key to moving on to the next level of martial cultivation, each level further divided into nine layers.

The disciples engaged in weekly martial events, a time when they could showcase their skills and compete against each other. Winning against a fellow disciple brought not only glory but also precious credits as a reward. However, for Rohen, these events were more often reminders of his shortcomings, adding to the scorn of those who deemed him trash.

Among the ranks, there were those who ridiculed him, considering him weak and unworthy of being a true disciple of the Azure Cloud Sect. As time slipped by, the weight of Rohen's impending fate loomed heavy upon him. If he failed to become a true disciple within the next six months, he would be cast out of the sect, left to fend for himself in the unforgiving world outside.

Amidst the trials and tribulations, Rohen's resolve burned like a flickering flame, refusing to be extinguished. With each passing day, he trained harder, seeking to defy the odds and prove to the world that even a discarded boy could rise above the status of trash.
